Totals after every group of rows - formating help

Hi,
What I need is to make the cells darker where the totals are after every group of rows. How do I do that?
Also, I'm trying to remove the fact that they're merged cells for downloading to Excel (on another report for further analytics).
Ex: a group of rows show multiple opportunities for an account. The Total NSR value (Revenue) for all the rows for the one Account is displayed after the rows and I don't want this on one of our reports.

TS3274 My iPad plays a song and then stops; I press manually for next song, but it either plays same song, a different song that I pressed, or will play the next song, but keeps stopping after every song I play. Help?

When I go to play songs the iTunes will play a song then stops (repeat all or one song is not on and also shuffle is not on); I manually click for next song an it wll ( play the next song and stops, it will play same song and then stops, or it will play a song randomly and then stops) . Help!

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.

COMMIT after every 10000 rows

I'm getting probelms with the following procedure. Is there any that I can do to commit after every 10,000 rows of deletion? Or is there any other alternative! The DBAs are not willing to increase the undo tablespace value!

In the event that you can't persuede the DBA to configure the database properly, Why not just use rownum?

Urgent: Oracle Reports : Blank Page Should print after each Group of record

Hi all,
I have a different kind of requirement, in my report I have 1 block and I want to generate a blank page after every group of records. This is because the printer is printing both side of the paper and we are giving multiple group at same time.
Cannot touch the printer setup since it is a common one. Anybody can help me in this for a fast and simple way ? "Maximum records per page" property for the repeating frame give the next group to a fresh page but there will not be a blank page in between.

Empty frame with page break is not helping me since it will not hide the rest of the items which are outside the repeating frame. Like Report caption, Group Name, Page footer etc...
If I am using the empty frame, is there any way to hide all other items ?

Want robust solution for alternating row color, resetting every group

I would like a solution for displaying an alternating row color for my detail rows that resets every group, so that row 1 is always gray.
Our Crystal designer provided this code to me:
@rowcnt formula, suppressed, placed in Detail row:
Shared numbervar rowcnt;
rowcnt := rowcnt + 1;
@resetrowcnt, suppressed, placed in Group row:

Formatting formula, placed in Color in Detail > Section Expert:

This was working fine for me.
However, it is suddenly not working in one of my reports.
The report does happen to have two groups (rowcount.png).
When the report is run, all rows are colored (rowcount02.png).
This report was previously working fine! I'm not sure what changed.
In any case... surely there must be standard code to do this very standard formatting.
I would be very grateful if someone could post some robust code to accomplish the following:
REPORT DATA IN DETAIL ROW, ALTERNATE ROW BANDING:
- Data in Detail row displays alternating row colors
- Odd rows are always shaded, even rows not
- Banding resets every group / does not continue pattern from previous group
REPORT DATA IN GROUP ROW, ALTERNATE ROW BANDING:
Some of our reports place row data in a group row (just the way it happened).
If you could also modify your code in this case.

After applying Group By to an IR, no further formatting can be performed

I have an interactive report that shows multiple accounts across many dates. I would like to create a chart by date for the total of all accounts.
As soon as I apply the format of Group By, the format menu is no longer available so I can't chart it.
Is it possible to do this?

I don't know, nor can I find the relevent bug in metalink. Can anyone at Oracle tell us?
In my opinion, the best solution would be to apply the row limit to the outer part of a group by (or chart) query. In can't imagine a use case where anyone would want to perform a group by on an (effectively random) subset of the available data.
The problem I have is that I have a couple of IR's on two very large tables (around 1M rows each). When the reports are showing each record, I'd like to apply the row limit (to say 10,000 rows are less), but when they are showing chart or group by results, I want to show this based off all the available data (although it would be ok / good to have the row limit applied outside the group by).
At the moment I'm looking for a workaround, the best I can see would be to put a rowlimit clause in the IR query and base that on a page item, then setting the page item based on the report display type (report / group by / chart). I'm not sure how to get a javascript to fire when the report is updated though.

Try this:
1) Duplicate your measure column in Criteria.
2) In the fx window, enter RANK(your_measure_column).
3) Place this column in the Rows section of your pivot table. Apply ascending sort order.
4) Hide the column.
Your Totals (After) column (the sigma sign in the Columns section of your pivot table) willl be sorted.

Repeate Row Totals on every horizontal pages in Crosstab.

I have Row totals that are displayed on the left of summary. I want to display this totals on every horizontal page.

Right Click on the Cross Tab->Cross-Tab Expert-> Customize Style tab.
Select the 'Horizontal' option under summarized Fields:
Select the 'Repeat Row Labels' option under 'Grid Options'
Click 'OK'
However it is not possible to dispaly the row totals for the data dispalyed on that particular page.
Because the data is calulated for the entire cross-tab.

In Windows 7, Microsoft updated UAC in several ways. By default, UAC does not prompt when certain programs included with Windows make changes requiring elevated permissions. Other programs still trigger a UAC prompt. The strictness of UAC can be changed to either always prompt, or to never do so.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

To get the first two rows from each group, you could do this:
Use the ROW_NUMBER() analytic function (see http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/functions137.htm#i86310)
Now, your question isn't clear what you mean by "last" two rows. Last in what order? Whatever it is, you can use the ORDER BY part of the ROW_NUMBER() function to specify the ordering, and reverse it using DESC - for example:
select acn, adate, cost, appl from (
    select acn, adate, cost, appl,
              row_number() over (partition by acn order by adate desc) as rn
    from acntab
where rn <= 2
order by acn, rnHTH
