Hi Srinivas,
I am in dilemaaa whether i need to take a EDI x12 over internet and EDI x12 over genric exchange.I think this is something which you should discuss with your TP and as per the availability and requirement a decision should be made.
If you are using FTP protocol in internal delivery channel, then you need to follow the file naming convention to provide B2B required information to identify the TP and transaction. For this please refer -
http://www.b2bgurus.com/search/label/Generic%20File
To know more about TP identification in EDI, please refer -

  • Agreement lookup failed as From trading partner cannot be identified

    Hi,
I am working on custom document over HTTPS.
I configured B2B to send custom document over Generic Exchange(transport - HTTPS).
I enqueue the XML document with AQ header to IP_OUT_QUEUE. B2B is able to read the data from IP_OUT_QUEUE and invokes the client Webapplication.
I changed the IP_OUT_QUEUE to custom AQ. B2B is able to read data from custom AQ, but B2B throws "Trading partner agreement lookup failed as From trading partner cannot be identified"

Anyways, as I mentioned earlier in above thread, please follow proper file naming convention to allow B2B to identify the Trading Partner.

I assume here that your application is deployed on a different physical machine of where LCES is deployed and running.
    Do the following test:
    - Say that LCES is deployed on machine1 and your application is deployed on machine2. Ping machine1 from machine2 and note the ip address.
    - Ping machine1 from machine1 and note the ip address.
    The two pings should match.
    - Ping machine2 from machine1 and note the ip address.
    - Ping machine2 from machine2 and note the ip address.
    The two pings should match.
Usually this kind of error would happen if your servers have internal and external ip addresses.

  • RFC Lookup Fails

I have an integration scenario that features an RFC lookup.  This integration scenario works great in our development environment, but fails at runtime in our QA environment.  The mapping program executes correctly in the Integration Builder debugging tools - but not at runtime.
The parameter mappings are correct in both the DEV & QA environments.
I've refreshed the cache in both SXI_CACHE and performed a CPA Cache Refresh
    SXMB_MONI reports the following error
      <SAP:Category>Application</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="MAPPING">RUNTIME_EXCEPTION</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>Thrown: java.lang.NullPointerException: at com.s</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2>ap.guid.GUID.parseHexGUID(GUID.java:1015) at com.</SAP:P2>
      <SAP:P3>sap.guid.GUIDGenerator.parseHexGUID(GUIDGenerator.</SAP:P3>
      <SAP:P4>java:111) at com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.GUIDFac~</SAP:P4>
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:Stack>Runtime exception occurred during mapping</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
I've done searches here on SDN and found similar scenarios that broke down into either cache problems or as overlooked parameter mapping.  Neither of those seems to be my problem.
    Is there anything I've overlooked?

Could you verify if the configuration in the Directory (interface determination etc) is complete?
Yes, the deployment configuration is correct and the interface determination step correctly uses parameter mapping to pass a reference to the communication channel.
Check your rfc communication channel works
Yes, I can prove that the RFC communication channel works.  I can start the Enterprise Services Builder and test my mapping program.  In the parameters tab of the test page, I select the RFC communication channel.  All of those test work correctly.  My RFC executes and I'm getting the correct results.
That's the frustrating part - it tests correctly in the QA Ent Serv builder, but fails when deployed.
can you check in channel monitoring whether the channel used for RFC lookup is green and it has processed the Message which was sent at runtime.
In runtime workbench, I can see that the RFC comm channel is green.  If I drill down into the comm channel, I can see the processing details for the message I just tested in Ent Serv Builder.
If I restart a failed message from SXMB_MONI - and then refresh the communication channel details, I do NOT see activity on the communication channel.  So that leads me to believe that failure occurs prior to making the RFC call - and isn' related to some sort of bad response from the communication channel.

  • DNS lookup failed. How to fix with Google chrome?

"The server at _____.com can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. This error is often caused by having no connection to the internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing google chrome from accessing the network."

    Is Safari the same?

    Thanks,

In order to get a reference to you EJB Home interface from JNDI, your
application has to have an access to the stub of this interface. This stub
is generated by WL tools when you deploy your EJB. Because your servlet runs
inside the server's VM, it has an access to this stub by default. So just
include these stubs in CLASSPATH of your test program and you will see the
    difference.

However, when I perform the same lookup in a servlet (admittedly running
in the same JVM) I successfully get the home interface object back.
    Any ideas why ?
    Thanks,

  • Local site blocked - DNS lookup failed

Hitting our webpage from the inside is blocked; the policy trace shows Request blocked: Details: DNS Lookup fails
the local webpage is in the Custom URL Catagory- Allow group...
This fails when leaving the www off the front.   www.site.com works but site.com fails...
.site.com and site.com are in the custom URL catagory in an 'allow' group
this is also in the bypass filter

A large amount of sites in the world are unable to resolve domains that do not have www in the front. The easiest example is NASA.  Go to nasa.gov and it does not work.  www.nasa.gov does work.  This is due to the admins configuration.  However like chris mentioned I would confirm that your DNS is opperating correctly.
P.S.  The nasa test might or might not work.  Some browsers automatically change the nasa.gov to www.nasa.gov

    Hi Asim,
I would investigate the DNS by establishing an SSH session to the M1 interface.  Do an 'nslookup xyz.com' and see if it resolves.  If it does not resolve, you may want to check your DNS server.

  • Registry's EnumKey Lookup Failing When Called By MSBuild?

A MS-DOS script executes the VBScript below and it works fine. However, when using a MS Build master deployment file which calls the aforementioned MS-DOS script, the 2nd location lookup ("SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\")
fails with a result code of 2. I have spent countless hours trying to figure out why the difference. Any ideas?
    Const HKLM = &H80000002 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

    Or try sysnative:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa384187%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
    Don't retire TechNet! -
(Don't give up yet - 13,225+ strong and growing)
But that is not a portable solution.  it does not apply to 32 bit platforms and will only work from a 64 bit session when calling intp a 32 bit session.
If we are in a 32 bit session running VBScript then we cannot see the 64 bit registry without the help of WMI.  The correct solution is to build in the correct environment.  If you want to run in both environments then you will need to test the
32 bit version on a 32 bit system assuming the applications being enumerated use the same keys on both architectures.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is correct. I totally forgot there are 32 bit and 64 bit versions of MSBuild. I made no changes except to execute the main deployment script with the 64 bit version of MS Build. Thank you for all of your help.
