Trafic light indicator in table control
Hi All
Is it possible to put trafic ligth indicator against each record in table control. I need to display green, red and orange indicator depending upon the status of the record.
Thanks
Ravindra Suvarna
I do this quite often. All you need to do is write it to the field.
type-pools: icon.
if condition.
write ICON_GREEN_LIGHT as ICON to itab-status.
endif.
Make sure that ITAB-STATUS is character field length 4.

Can you programmatically change the width of columns in a table control\indicator
Is it possible to programmatically change the width of columns in a table control\indicator ie to fit to width of the data or in my case the header information.
Create a property node (or reference) and use the 'Active Cell' property to select which column you want to change and then use the 'Cell size'--> 'Width' property to change the size.

How can I customize the Column Headers of the TABLE control/indicator in LabVIEW ?
I need to customize the TABLE control/indicator in the LabVIEW as the same shape of the table in the LabWindows CVI or the DBgrid of the Borland Delphi. Where can I modify the color and shape of the Column Headers and the Row Headers.
Thanks,
CleberSalutations,
You asked this question about 3 months ago, and no one answered it.. How rude of them, well....
You can customize any control/indicator by right mouse clicking on it, going to advanced, then customize. If you want to color it, you can always right mouse click with the shift key down, and pull up the painting tool stuff. Or use the tab key if you want to scroll through tools. I believe it's the tab key. Alright, i bet you've long since figured it out, but i couldn't resist.

Hi Gurus,
I have seen trafic light in MD07
I didn't get, what is the porpose of that trafic ligh in SAP.
Can any body tell me why SAP has given this option of trafic light in MD07
Thanks & Regards,
NileshDear,
Materials are indicated with red, yellow, and green traffic lights in the material tree and in the material lists for the MRP list and for the stock/requirements list.
The traffic light values (red, yellow, green) indicate how urgently materials need to be processed. Red traffic lights immediately indicate that the appropriate materials are critical and urgently need to be processed.
The traffic light display is controlled by ranges of coverage and exception groups. As standard, a red traffic light is displayed when the days' supply, receipt days' supply 1, or receipt days' supply 2 are less than or equal to zero, or when an exception message for group 8 is displayed. Example: You want all materials, whose dates lie in the past, to be indicated by a red traffic light.

Message was edited by: md monirujjamanHi Moni,
The problem as I had replied in your earlier post is with the MODIFY statement.
MODIFY TABLE ITAB FROM ITAB. This statement will do the modifications based on the table key. When you have character fields as editable, then some problems are to be anticipated. In such a scenario, you must update the internal table based on the <i>index</i>, rather than based on <i>key</i>.
So consider using
MODIFY ITAB FROM ITAB INDEX TCL-CURRENT_LINE.
Where TCL is the name of the Table Control. Also observe the difference in syntax here, don't use the TABLE keyword for the MODIFY statement.
Please try it out and let me know.

Is it possible to create Table Controls(in Dynpro) dynamically

I am not sure if we can create screen elements dynamically especially Table Controls. I need to create a Table control in a custom screen but the fields/columns in the table control are known at run time. Is it possible?? Appreciate any light on this subject.

Deleting a row from a table control through right-click menu
I have a table control. I want to delete a row from it when a user right clicks on a particular row and selects "Delete row" menu item. I have managed the creation of menu item but have not been able to delete the row which is right clicked and the menu item "Delete row" is selected. Guidance required! Thanks!

Hi smercurio,
please see the attached picture. In my previous post i mean the different in the menu. The red marked function is not available, if the table is an indicator. LV8.5!

Description of field from data element in table control
hello people !!! I need help !!
Im using a table control in my module pool program. I create this table through wizard, taking the fields from an internal table. This internal table was defined like this:
Table Control ; posting items
DATA: t_postitems TYPE stucture_fd OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
Where <b>stucture_fd</b> is strucuture with the fields.
The problem that I have is that the titles of the fields does not take their description from the data element.
How I create this table control from the internal table and that takes the description from the data element? It is very important this, because this development will be used in different languages.
From already I am thanking for any answer.
Thank so much.
Best regards, Esther.Gracias, es mas facil para mi en espanol.
tables: tab_prb.
types: begin of <b>ti</b>.
include structure <b>tab_prb</b>.
types: end of <b>ti</b>.
data: <b>ti_b</b>kpf type table of ti,
<b>wa_bkpf</b> type ti.
Explicacion:
Muchas gracias !!!

Adding field in table control of standard transaction IW21 / IW22 / IW23
Hi ,
My requirement is to add a field in the table control in Transaction IW21/22/23 program SAPLIQS0 screen number 7334.
This screen is triggered when notification type is 'M4'.
Is it possible?
if yes , please throw some light on how to achieve it.
Thanks in advance
Prakash

Edited by: Prakash Nawale on Feb 18, 2010 5:31 AMYou can add additional fields to the details sub-screen (SAPLIQS0-5010) via user-exit QQMA0012 (User Subscreen for Additional Data on Activity)
But from memory the system will not add these to screen 7334

How can we use TABLE CONTROL in BDC and WORK FLOW of ABAP.
how can we use TABLE CONTROL in BDC and WORK FLOW of ABAP.?
please explain the important questions.How to deal with table control / step loop in BDC
Steploop and table contol is inevitable in certain transactions. When we run BDC for such transactions, we will face the situation: how many visible lines of steploop/tablecontrol are on the screen? Although we can always find certain method to deal with it, such as function code 'NP', 'POPO', considering some extreme situation: there is only one line visible one the screen, our BDC program should display an error message. (See transaction 'ME21', we you resize your screen to let only one row visible, you can not enter mutiple lines on this screen even you use 'NP')
Now with the help of Poonam on sapfans.com developement forum, I find a method with which we can determine the number of visible lines on Transaction Screen from our Calling BDC program. Maybe it is useless to you, but I think it will give your some idea.
Demo ABAP code has two purposes:
1. how to determine number of visible lines and how to calculte page number;
(the 'calpage' routine has been modify to meet general purpose usage)
2. using field symbol in BDC program, please pay special attention to the difference in Static ASSIGN and Dynamic ASSIGN.
Now I begin to describe the step to implement my method:
(I use transaction 'ME21', screen 121 for sample,
the method using is Call Transation Using..)
Step1: go to screen painter to display the screen 121, then we can count the fixed line on this screen, there is 7 lines above the steploop and 2 lines below the steploop, so there are total 9 fixed lines on this screen. This means except these 9 lines, all the other line is for step loop. Then have a look at steploop itselp, one entry of it will occupy two lines.
(Be careful, for table control, the head and the bottom scroll bar will possess another two fixed lines, and there is a maximum number for table line)
Now we have : FixedLine = 9
LoopLine = 2(for table control, LoopLine is always equal to 1)
Step2: go to transaction itself(ME21) to see how it roll page, in ME21, the first line of new page is always occupied by the last line of last page, so it begin with index '02', but in some other case, fisrt line is empty and ready for input.
Now we have: FirstLine = 0
or FirstLine = 1 ( in our case, FirstLine is 1 because the first line of new page is fulfilled)
Step3: write a subroutine calcalculating number of pages
(here, the name of actual parameter is the same as formal parameter)
global data: FixedLine type i, " number of fixed line on a certain screen
LoopLine type i, " the number of lines occupied by one steploop item
FirstLine type i, " possbile value 0 or 1, 0 stand for the first line of new " scrolling screen is empty, otherwise is 1
Dataline type i, " number of items you will use in BDC, using DESCRIBE to get
pageno type i, " you need to scroll screen how many times.
line type i, " number of lines appears on the screen.
index(2) type N, " the screen index for certain item
begin type i, " from parameter of loop
end type i. " to parameter of loop
*in code sample, the DataTable-linindex stands for the table index number of this line
form calpage using FixedLine type i (see step 1)
LoopLine type i (see step 1)
FirstLine type i (see step 2)
DataLine type i ( this is the item number you will enter in transaction)
changing pageno type i (return the number of page, depends on run-time visible line in table control/ Step Loop)
changing line type i.(visible lines one the screen)
data: midd type i,
vline type i, "visible lines
if DataLine eq 0.
Message eXXX.
endif.
vline = ( sy-srows - FixedLine ) div LoopLine.
*for table control, you should compare vline with maximum line of
*table control, then take the small one that is min(vline, maximum)
*here only illustrate step loop
if FirstLine eq 0.
pageno = DataLine div vline.
if pageno eq 0.
pageno = pageno + 1.
endif.
elseif FirstLine eq 1.
pageno = ( DataLine - 1 ) div ( vline - 1 ) + 1.
midd = ( DataLine - 1 ) mod ( vline - 1).
if midd = 0 and DataLine gt 1.
pageno = pageno - 1.
endif.
endif.
line = vline.
endform.
Step4 write a subroutine to calculate the line index for each item.
form calindex using Line type i (visible lines on the screen)
FirstLine type i(see step 2)
LineIndex type i(item index)
changing Index type n. (index on the screen)
if FirstLine = 0.
index = LineIndex mod Line.
if index = '00'.
index = Line.
endif.
elseif FirstLine = 1.
index = LineIndex mod ( Line - 1 ).
if ( index between 1 and 0 ) and LineIndex gt 1.
index = index + Line - 1.
endif.
if Line = 2.
index = index + Line - 1.
endif.
endif.
endform.
Step5 write a subroutine to calculate the loop range.
form calrange using Line type i ( visible lines on the screen)
DataLine type i
FirstLine type i
loopindex like sy-index
changing begin type i
end type i.
If FirstLine = 0.
if loopindex = 1.
begin = 1.
if DataLine <= Line.
end = DataLine.
else.
end = Line.
endif.
elseif loopindex gt 1.
begin = Line * ( loopindex - 1 ) + 1.
end = Line * loopindex.
if end gt DataLine.
end = DataLine.
endif.
endif.
elseif FirstLine = 1.
if loopindex = 1.
begin = 1.
if DataLine <= Line.
end = DataLine.
else.
end = Line.
endif.
elseif loop index gt 1.
begin = ( Line - 1 ) * ( loopindex - 1 ) + 2.
end = ( Line - 1 ) * ( loopindex - 1 ) + Line.
if end gt DataLine.
end = DataLine.
endif.
endif.
endif.
endform.
Step6 using field sysbol in your BDC, for example: in ME21, but you should calculate each item will correponding to which index in steploop/Table Control
form creat_bdc.
field-symbols: <material>, <quan>, <indicator>.
data: name1(14) value 'EKPO-EMATN(XX)',

assign: name1 to <material>,
name2 to <quan>,
name3 to <indicator>.
do pageno times.
if sy-index gt 1

Changing field lable (header) in Table control.
Hi all,
I am currently working on a table control. The requirement is to change the label in the column heading dynamically based on few conditions. Could any one please help me in finding out a way for changing the heading labels dynamically.
Example stated below.
Totally 4 columns in table control.
| Value | Description | Tag 1 (should be dynamic) | Tag2 (should be dynamic)* -
| 1 | Hai | 2121212 | 212122222
| 2 | welcome | 43424234 | 234234444324
Many Thanks in Advance.
ShivHi Neha,
Many thanks for your reply. The document you have sent is really a good one, but it do not throw much light on changing the column header text (label). If you could provide me some more info on changing the label that should be of great help to me.
Thank you.
Hi Tharani,
Many thanks for your reply. The link you have attached is a good one, but it has no information on changing the label on a module pool screen. It details only about SAP forms.
Thank you.
Hi Ramchander,
Many thanks for your reply. I have already tried it that way and it dint work out. The screen looping is possible for only for changing the contents of an output fields on a module pool screen, but not for table control column header.
Thank you.
Could you all please throw me some more light on this issue.
Regards,
Shiv
