Transform Editor: Entering Note Values?

Within the transform editor (piano roll editor):
Wouldn't it be easier to select a note value rather than typing in what the value is for the note? For example, wouldn't it be nice if there was a set of buttons with pictures of a whole note, 1/4 note, etc. (like in Cubase) or a drop down menu (like Logic's quantize menu) to select from? It's killing me to try and memorize the numerical values for each kind of note. What if I wanted a fixed duration of an 1/8th note tuplet? How would I calculate the value for that? Is there an option somewhere I can turn on to make setting note values easier?

I'm thinking that it should assume all zeros for the time portion in this scenario, since that's how sqlplus (and, I believe, previous SQL Developer releases) handles it. For example:
SQL> alter session set nls_date_format='YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS';
Session altered.
SQL> select to_date('2013-09-10') from dual;
TO_DATE('2013-09-10
2013-09-10 00:00:00

Hello out there,
I don't know if that has been reported already. So I'm doing it again.
I have a table containing a date column and set my NLS_DATE_FORMAT to 'DD.MM.YYYY HH24:MI:SS'.
In version 3.2, I could enter date values just by giving a date without time e.g. 29.08.2013. In the table editor of version 4.0, I'm forced to enter 29.08.2013 00:00:00 otherwise the field is cleared after leving it by pressing TAB.
Is there some new preference setting for that? I'm having another table where I want to enter date values with time though...
If that matters, I'm using SQL*Developer 4.0.0.12.27 with JDK 7.0_17 64bit on OpenSuse Linux 12.3 and connecting to Oracle 12.1.0.1.0 on Solaris 10 Sparc64.
As I'm writing the JDK version, could it be that a newer JDK solves that issue? I'll try that.

Iterator not reflected on entering new values for the row

I am having an editable table coming from an EJB Stateless Session Bean. I created a data control out of the session bean and dragged and dropped the output
of the method in the session bean as a table in the jspx page. On click of the "Create" link, I have an action listener that creates a new row in the top of
the table.

The problem is that after entering the values into the newly created row, I have to tab out of the row and click with the mouse to place the cursor in the
end of the next row's first field for the iterator to reflect the entered values. If i enter the last column in the new row and after entering it I directly
click on "Save", the newly entered values are not reflected in the iterator. The iterator is still reflecting the old values of the row i.e. "" empty fields
as it was initialized during Create Row.
Can you help me fix this problem. I want the iterator to reflect the newly entered values without having to tab out of the row.

I would suggest starting to debug your new CT in the following order
1) ABAP - run directly in SAP to confirm you are getting the data you expect
2) Set breakpoints in ABAP and confirm your transmit is calling into your ABAP as expected
3) Java - Add breakpoints and step through your Java class to confirm it is getting back the data as expected
4) ATE - Look at the CT in the ATE to view the contents

Why does Photoshop CC Randomly fill leading and tracking after entering a value?

I've been running into a bug where entering a value into the leading and/or tracking fields in the Character panel generates random numbers. The major problem has come when I'm building banners at large sizes. I enter a value and suddenly I get a min/max warning that I've clearly gone over the maximum value allowed by Photoshop in that field. I press "OK" and another random value is inserted into the field rather than the allowable maximum value, which the warning box promised me it would enter in the field. This generally continues until I force quit Photoshop CC and restart it...hopefully not loosing too much work in the process.
(I've been burned too many times by Photoshop bugs and issues to know that I should save very frequently...to my desktop.)

It happens when you have transformed text.

Disable jTable so that user cant enter any value & is stopped to do so

my program has 2 options for user: 1. To enter a list of values(for which im using table), 2. To use default values embedded in the program.
for these options i have used jRadioButtons n ButtonGroup.When user selects DefaultValues radiobutton program uses default values,but when it selects DefaultValues radiobutton i want to disable the Table such that the user cannot enter any value in the cell and it should be visible to the user too that the table has been disabled.
The user should only b able to enter values in table if he/she selects the first option's radiobutton.
note: im using DefaultTableModel, if somebody can tell me any way other than using isCellEditable(),it would be more appreciatable

Entering mulitple values for a single user parameter

Can anyone explain to me how to allow multiple values for a single parameter?
For example, say I want to allow the report to display a list of employees based on their employee id. I want to allow the user to enter mulitple
employee id's into a single field to get their report. SO the user would enter "241, 459, 832" to return the list of those 3 employees. I have the SQL set up below, but obviously I need to set up something different to break it out into 3 separate values. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Another way to do this is to use the lexical parameter, but then you have to create the parameter form in Forms. Your SQL would look like this for example:
select * from emp where empno is not null &empno
where &empno is a lexical parameter.
Then on your parameter form you would have a text field F_empid, say 200 character long, allowing the user to enter multiple values separated by a ",".
Then in the trigger that calls the report you would create a parameter list, and a variable that holds the values read from the form, this variable is where you define the value to be passed to the report's lexical parameter. For example:
declare
v_empid varchar2(200); (consistent with the length of the lexical parameter in the report).
begin
v_empid:='and empno in ('||F_empid||')';
then you pass v_empid to &empno in the call to the report.

How to suppress "enter parameter values" screen in crystal reports for Visu

How to disable "Enter Parameter Values" for optional paramters?

I'm having issues getting the Crystal Reports .NET Viewer to suppress the "Enter Parameter Values" dialog for optional parameters. I have templates created using Crystal Reports 2008 and am linking against the CR for VS 2010 runtime.
Within the report template the optional paramter has "Optional Prompt" set to "True". This particular parameter also allows multiple values and is used in record selection. Within the record selection it is using HasValue().
It seems the parameter is set up properly as I have other parameters that are set within the code that are not prompted for. If I pass in the optional parameter through the code the "Enter Paramater Values" dialog also does not appear and the report is generated correctly. All of the parameters are set using ParameterFields and they are set before the ReportSource is set.
Looking through the .NET API documentation it seems like the CrystalReportViewer should have an "EnableParameterPrompt" property that would do what I want however it doesn't seem to be a valid parameter as I get compile errors when I try to use it... Not sure if it matters or not but I am using managed C++ and our application is built using Visual Studio 2005. Could that maybe have something to do with it?

OK, I'm going to answer my own question as with a little more digging I was able to find out that I needed to set some stuff on the report document to specify that there are no values. Still not sure why "EnableParameterPrompt" is not valid for me though as it seems like that would work as well. At any rate here is what I needed to do:
ReportDocument->ParameterFields[<Optional Parameter Name>]->CurrentValues->Clear();
ReportDocument->ParameterFields[<Optional Parameter Name>]->CurrentValues->IsNoValue = true;

In the above "xaml" file i am using the attribute "Readonly="False"" but its not effected on my code still my datagrid is in readonly mode, i don't know why it happens.

How to enter a value versus picking one from the pop-up menu?

I am new to numbers and am using version 3.5.2. I understand one can define a Pop-Up for cell value selection, but what if I want to also be able to specify a value that is not in the pull down? I thought "start with blank" would do the trick, but it won't let me enter any values. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

If your entry is a one time deal you could just delete the cells value and type in your choice. If you want to update your popup you need ot redefine its values. And then of course replace your old popups with your new one.

Field "Value field texts" is disabled to enter new values

Hi there,
I'm trying to enter new values on the field "Value field texts" from Depreciation Area, in Config Asset Value Display(Financial Accounting (New) > Asset Accounting > Information System > Configure Asset Value Display). The fields are disbled to enter new text values.
I don't know what's happening. I've see the SAP Note 121433, but I don't intend to request the creation of a program to fill these fields. Does anyone know if there's another way to deal with this?

Do you know if there's another way of enable these fields? We cannot change the Authorization settings from one Depreciation Area to another.
