Transparency of IR on filter dropdown background in IE7

Hello There,
I have an issue with the transparency of IR on filter dropdown background in IE7.
Please try accessing http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=36675:2 using IE7.
If you click the IR header to drop the filter down, you could see the background of the dropdown filter is semi-transparent and get mixed up with the table data below. IT IS VERY difficult to read.
Searching on existing treads indicates it is already been fixed as part of 4.0.1 however I could still reproduce using IE, version 7.0.5730.11
Any help here please?
Thank you 'n Regards
Ligon

  • IR JS error on colum filter dropdown

    Hi There,
    I have an IR with few columns having HTML tags in it (mainly anchor tag). When I click on the column header, instead of the filter dropdown, I get a JS error.
    This happens in IE (both 7 and 8), in chrome it works fine.
    I have an example setup below. (use "Table Name" field to test)
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=44973:11
    Is there any workaround for this issue? I will need the hyperlink on those columns and ideally user should be able to filter on them as well. I have at the moment disabled filtering on these columns so that users won't get error.
    Thanks in advance
    Cheers, Ligon

    Hi,
    Please check your sample on apex.oracle.com.
    Does it work now as expected?
    PS: I do not know why I did not get any email from you.

  • I want to publish a simple text animation transparent but keep getting a black background?

    I want to publish a simple text animation transparent but keep getting a black background?

    trouble is, it's not always that straight forward if the initial animation has not been set to a transparent background, as you cant simply change/update the poster.png
    What I mean is, if the poster has been saved as non transparent once, the only wayto update it,  is to physically open the file and make it transparent, even then it doesnt always work especially working with OAM's
    hope that also helps

  • Creating Cascading Filter Dropdown boxes when data source is BO (Unx) Universe.

    Currently it is understood that cascading filter dropdown boxes are possible only with HANA and BW datasources.  Is there a plan to release this functionality with Design Studio version 1.3?  Did anybody find a workaround for this yet?

    Hi Vivek,

  • Transparency issues with images over color backgrounds

    I have a transparent .png that I place over a color background. When I do this, there's a slight discoloration in the image's transparent background. As a result, it looks the image really isn't transparent, but has a slight white background. I can't seem to get rid of this and have tried for days. Can anyone help me out here?

    Thanks Robert. You're a lifesaver. This trick totally worked. You saved me a huge headache. I appreciate it.

  • Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 - Mac OS 10.7.5 - Filter Gallery background is black

    The background colour of the Filter Gallery window (and any filter window) is black. I can see sliders and checkboxes, but I cannot see the related labels and text. This does not happen in the Adobe Illustrator Effects windows. I've rebuilt PS settings, but I still have this issue. I've searched the web without luck. Any ideas?
    Thanks.
    Francis.

    Did you use MacKeeper or some other utility to "clean" your OS?
    You'll probably need to do a repair install of the OS to fix the missing OS components.
    See this thread for some other users who experienced this problem: Photoshop CS6: Save for web window mostly black and unreadable

  • How to create transparent text on a solid color background?

    I want to create a transparent text on a solid color backround, and I need text transparency to go all the way to through the image (i.e. do not show the solid color background). I have the transparent background layer, the solid rectangle layer that occupies part of the image, and the text layer (with text element) on the top of the solid rectangle layer. How do I make text transparency to go all the way through? Here is a similar example for Photoshop CS, only in my case, the backround layer is transparent (i.e. there is no picture): http://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-effects/transparent-text-area/. Basically, I need to make the letters see through, so they show the backround color on which the image will be placed. Is it possible to do in Photoshop Elements? I'm using version 9 on Windows 7. Thanks.

    Thank you all for the suggestions, especially 99jon. 99jon's walktrhough is helpful, but I was hoping to find a workaround that would allow keeping transparent text that goes all the way through all other layers to transparent background as a text level, but once I flatten the image, I'd lose the text layer, so I cannot make any changes to it (like slightly change the font, size, style, face, etc). Let me clarify a bit what I'm trying to do to see if there is an even better option.
    Say, I need to have a 300x300 pixel image that (forget about photos) consists of a solid-color circle (circle can be white, black, red, blue, or any solid color, or gradient, does not matter) on a transparent background, and inside of this circle I'd like to cut out a word (say, the word "TEST" with no bevels or other decoration, just flat font) all the way to the transparent background. I just need a circle with text cut out and showing around the circle and through the word "TEST". So if a circle is white and I place the image on a blue background, the word "TEST" would be in blue (so would be the area around the circle).
    Is there a way to set it up to allow changing the color of the circle (say, from white to black, or blue, or red) and keep smooth edges of the text (and circle) blending with the background (i.e. avoid jagged edges) without redoing every color variation from scratch? Like, getting some master file which would define size and position of the elements,a s well as font, etc, and from this master file, use simple adjustments to change the color.
    Ideally (in my dream world), there would be an option for the text element to be of transparent color that would go through all layers below it. But there must be a not too complex way to do this, right?

  • 3.1 EA3 - Column value filter dropdown returns duplicate values

    Hello,
    SQL Developer 3.1 EA3 introduces a regression: the column value filter in the table data editor dropdown (filter column) now shows duplicate values. Previous versions (at least 3.0) returned unique values to select from.
    Since this is EA3 and not yet production, should I file a bug for this?
    Best Regards and many thanks for this tool,
    Olivier.

    Yes it's a regression. Fixed it recently. In the next released build it should work properly.

  • Search Criteria: how to filter dropdown lists?

    Hello Experts!
    In my 'Search Criteria' page of Complaints I have some fields such as Transaction ID, Transaction Type, Created By, Partner Function, etc. 'Partner Function' is bringing ALL partner functions of the system in the dropdown list. I need to restrict/filter this dropdown list in order to bring ONLY the values that I need.
    The same thing happens, for example, the field 'Status'. It brings all statuses of the system, but I just need it to bring the statuses of my Status Profile.
    This happens for all dropdown lists in all search pages.
    How can I filter these dropdown lists?
    Thanks a lot,
    Luis.

    Hi Luis,
    Redefine method GET_DEQUERY_DEFINITIONS and use the following piece of code:
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <rt_result> TYPE crms_thtmlb_search_field_info.
    CALL METHOD super->get_dquery_definitions
        RECEIVING
          rt_result = rt_result.
    READ TABLE rt_result WITH KEY field = 'STATUS' ASSIGNING <rt_result>.
    <rt_result>-ddlb_options will contain all the values for status you see in the dropdown list. Modify this list as per your requirement and hence modify the main Internal table - RT_RESULT from <rt_result> for field status.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks
    Vishal

    Hi,
    I have a question regarding the filter in the ALV.
    I would like to implement a filter with a dropdown box showing all possible values of a DDIC domain. The results should look like on the following screenshot (Taken from a POWL list)
    [Screenshot|http://dl.dropbox.com/u/958234/ALV_Filter_Dropdown.png]
    How is this possible with a normal SAP List Viewer?
    Thanks a lot
    Kind regards,

    Yes,
    You can do it.
    lr_filter_element = i_filter_node->create_element( ).
            lr_filter_element->set_attribute(
             name  = 'FIELDNAME'
             value = <lfs_field>-fieldname
            lr_filter_element->set_attribute(
             name  = 'T_DROPDOWN_VALUES'
             value = lt_key_values
            i_filter_node->bind_element(
             new_item = lr_filter_element
             set_initial_elements = abap_false

  • How to create a transparent custom shape on a patterned background?

    Hello,
    I've searched the forums and google and cannot seem to find a tutorial for what it is I want to do. I have a document with guides (card template) and I want to create the same design on each grid. I want the grids to have a patterened background and I want a custom shape within it. But, I want the custom shape to be transparent, not to the background, but going through the background. Like a cookie cutter. I want the custom shape to make a hole through the patterend background, leaving nothing in its place. I'm working with CS6 and can't seem to find a tutorial on how to do this. When I create the shape and make it transparent, I can see the background which isn't what I want. I want to go through the background layer and I'm being prompted to rasterize the layer when I've tried doing so. Help is much appreciated!!!

    You've gone two hours without a reply, and I suspect that is because you are not specific enough with your description of what you want to achieve.  I'll try but I will be guessing some of it...
    Make the shape you need to produce the pattern, with transparency for the area you need to 'punch through' as you put it, the background.
    Define that shape as a pattern, and fill a layer with it using the Piant buck set to pattern.
    Now control click the pattern layer to load it as a selection > Invert the selection, and add a layer mask to the underlying layer.  This should show throw to the lower layer(s)
    If I am not there, try uploading the Shape image you want to use as a pattern, and a screen grab of your image showing the layers panel.

  • Jquery for sharepoint document library form to filter dropdown/lookup field

    I have created a document library to update status of a ongoing process. I have created a lookup column "status" with options
    Initiated,
    Reivew-in Progress,
    Review-Denied,
    Review-Approved,
    Verification-In progress,
    Verification-Denied,
    Verification-Approved.
    The demand from the client is they want to see - 'Initiated'in the form while adding a new document,other options should be hidden/disabled.
    The next time when they edit the form,they want to see just :
    Reivew-in Progress,
    Review-Denied,
    Review-Approved.
    Other options should be hidden/disabled.
    On the next step they want to see
    Verification-In progress,
    Verification-Denied,
    Verification-Approved.
    other options should be hidden/disabled.
    I have worked with cascade drop down but i have no idea how to filter a single dropdwn/lookup field.Is there any way to implement this? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hi Slionel,
    Based on you description, my understanding is that you want to show certain fields on NewForm.aspx and hide/ disable other fields and in EditForm.aspx you need to show or hide/disable certain fields based on condition. I would say you can use JSOM to implement
    your requirement in NewForm.aspx and EditForm.aspx
    based on the condition and requirement, it will be simple and straight forward.
    Thanks
    Shakir
