Transport error in one instance of B2B

We have two instances of B2B in cluster and both point to single meta data repository. We have a trading parter which uses SFTP protocol and places the files on to a file system. If the request goes to first instance its processed successfully and the file is placed on to the file system. But we are getting a Transport error when the request goes to the B2B second instance. We tried ssh from the server where second instance is to the destination unix box with the same user id and password and it works.
Has any one faced this issue?
Thanks
Rakesh

says that your network setup is not correct. You need to resolve that first.
As for Broker setup steps how about the doc or our Data Guard 11g Handbook?
It's 3 DGMGRL commands so I am not sure what 'steps' you need?

• Getting Error :- Only one instance of COBRAS Export can be running at a time

Hi All,
I was checking the Briefcase Mode help file and it mentions for Unity Conection
that COBRAS will run multiple instances of itself – if you schedule multiple backups to fire up at the same time they will all run at the same time.
However if I schedule multiple backups to fire at the same time then I get the error :- "Only one instance of COBRAS Export can be running at a time".
This also happens if the COBRAS windows is left open and the scheduled backup starts in the background.
http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/General/COBRAS/Help/COBRAS_Briefcase/COBRAS_Briefcase.htm#_Toc276653845
I am not sure if I am making a mistake in understanding the statement :- "COBRAS will run multiple instances of itself – if you schedule multiple backups to fire up at the same time" or do we need to add any switch like lot of other application need like /m etc in the field of the scheduled backups as I see as /silent switch for process to run in background automatically but none for multiple instances.
I am attaching the screen shots of the errors I got when
A.) I scheduled 2 backups to run at the same time and the COBRAS application window was open "COBRASExportCUC7.exe" was running and no backup took place and got errors for both the scheduled backups.
And
B.) I scheduled 2 backups to run at the same time and the COBRAS application window was closed off and "COBRASExportCUC7.exe" was not running and one of the scheduled backups started to work and the other one gave error and didn't work
Unity Connection in use :- Version 8.0.3.20000-18
Cobras Export :- Version 1.0 Build 76
Please Suggest.
Regards,
Prad
(E-Mail :- [email protected])

Yeah, I’m of two minds on that – on the one hand it’s bad style to have a scheduled application popping dialog boxes (especially if you’re running as an account you don’t log in as regularly) – one the other hand I did have some sites go a while not noticing backups were failing (due to a UNC not flying any longer after a server reconfig) – folks can be bad about checking log files or the event log for issues. A pop up would pretty much guarantee they’d notice on next login at any rate.
I think I may stitch in email notifications in COBRAS Export in the same way they’re in the User Data Dump so failures of scheduled backups would be noticed right away (big, bright email in your box saying “failed!” would do it).
Either way, I’ll update the help and make sure it fails quietly for now when I update some other items on the site middle of next week.
Thanks for the report.

• StyledDocument error in one instance, but not another.

Hey all, i've tried to iron this bug out for the last 2 days, but no luck as yet.
I've tried to shorten the code down to the functional error bits, but I can't recreate the error. I'm sure i'm doing something wrong somewhere, but I cant see where.
I'm reluctant to post the code becuase it's mostly verbose, and it's easier to describe the problem.
I have a log file generating class (LogFileGen), that collates information in a (private) DefaultStyledDocument (accessable with getter getDSD()), with different Styles in it (using multiple insertString(offset, "text to insert", AttributeSet) statements along the line, called from various other classes.
This is sometimes displayed by a LogFile, which will have a JTextPane/JEditorPane (infoDisplay) (both display the error), and when the LogFile is shown to the user, I update it's infoDisplay with infoDisplay.setDocument(logFileGen.getDSD()).
I have had this work in certain cases before, but in this once case I get
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.ClassCastException: javax.swing.text.DefaultStyledDocument cannot be cast to javax.swing.text.html.HTMLDocument.
The Thread points to the line infoDisplay.setDocument(logFileGen.getDSD()). If I replace it with infoDisplay.setText(logFileGen.getTextFromDSD()), I get the content, but without the styling (obviously), and in other classes with their own JTextPanes, it works fine, formatting and everything.
Can anyone tell me why I get the error on some classes and not on others? I'm going mental here :s
Many, Many thanks in advance. In the meantime, i'll try and get a working example that actually reproduces teh err0r :(

xD Many apologies. you read fast.

• B2B-50079 Transport error: To Transport Informations Not found

Hi,
I'm trying an outbound scenario in b2b using ebXML. When i tried to test, 3 messages for a single instance can be seen.
1.A message entry with correct document type which converts custom format to ebXML format and the status is in "MSG_WAIT_ACK" for some time. (sender and receiver are correct)
2. A message entry with document type acknowledgement is seen with status "MSG_ERROR". (sender and receiver both are same - means the host TP)
3. A message entry with no document type and status as "MSG_ERROR". (sender and receiver both are same - means the host TP)
Later, the original message entry state changes from "MSG_WAIT_ACK" to "MSG_ERROR" since the retry for acknowledgement is over.
What is the mistake I'm doing here? Please help me to resolve this.

Have you created a channel in remote trading partner profile? If yes, have you included the channel in the agreement? If yes, then save validate and deploy the agreement again. Make sure that URL in ebMS channel is not pointing to same B2B host.

• B2B-50079 Transport Error : Bad Message

Hi All,
I have an SFTP outbound TPA which is used to transfer a PGP file from our internal system to TP vendor.
So the transfer is as follows B2B(Internal System) -> WebServer(acts as proxy while connecting to third party server)-->ThirdParty.
The use proxy is checked in the Channels of the Trading Partner.
The transfer fails while transfering the file to the TP with the below error.
"B2B-50079 Transport Error : Bad Message" I have manually sftpd from web server to the TP server and it is working absolutely fine.
Also i have verified that the certificate and host, port username details to connect to the TP are correct.
Please let us know on what the problem area could be.
There is no problem with file naming convention since the file is getting picked up by the listening channel and also we have checked the preserve file name option in the TP channel.
Any help on this is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Naveen Kumar T.

Thanks Anuj for the response.
We already have the required patch, also its working fine with other Trading partners which uses SFTP. We are facing this issue with only one Trading partner and the same is working fine with 10g B2B but not with 11g.
Please let us know if there is any other configurations which we can check.
Thanks,
Sirisha

• Error while creating the view from one instance to another instance

Hi Experts

Now hope i ll make my req clear .
Coming to my reqirement

I want to create the view which is based on by table EMP which in my test instance to devoplment instance
For example xxo.development (here xxo => Schema and development is an Instance )
Need to access the xxi schema in Test Instance How can I create a DB Link please share your ideas and advice me
Advance Thanks
ATIt's still not at all clear, but let me outline what I think you are after
Given a database, ORCL_A
In database ORCL_A we have a schema, HALFTRACK
User HALFTRACK has a table, MYSTUFF
Given a database, ORCL_B
In database ORCL_B we have a user GREENBRASS
User GREENBRASS needs to be able to query the table HALFTRACK.MYSTUFF.
In database ORCL_B, as user GREENBRASS
create database link mylink
connect to halftrack identified by halftracks_pswd
using ORCL_A;
select * from mytable@mylink;The db link defines a connection specification to ORCL_A, using the credentials of a user on ORCL_A. The target of the USING clause in the link definition must be an entry in the tnsames.ora file on the server hosting database ORCL_B.
When querying through the link, database ORCL_B is simply acting as a client to ORCL_A, no different that a sqlplus session on ORACL_B's server. As far as ORCL_A is concerned, ORCL_B is just another client requesting a connection, connecting with the credentials defined in the link definition.

• WebLogic Error : Registered more than one instance with the same objectName

HI there, I'm facing a big problem. I have two environments installed on the same physical machine.
I have ALSB and WLI servers running out there.
Environment 1 - WLI port running at 7011 domain name : stp_wli_domain and ALSB port running at 8011 domain name: stp_alsb_homo1 - folders- stp_wli_domain / stp_bea_alsb_homo
Environmnet 2 - WLI port running at 7211 domain name : stp_wli_domain2 and ALSB port tunning at 8211 domain name : stp-alsb_homo2 - folders - stp_wli_domain2 / stp_bea-alsb_homo2
Everything was working fine, but these days I had install new deployments on both environment and I got this error :
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Registered more than one instance with the same objectName : stp_wli_domain:ServerRuntime=wli_wls01,Name=stp_wli_domain,Location=wli_wls01,Type=AIRuntime new:com.bea.wlai.management.AIRuntimeMBeanImpl@bcf22dc existing com.bea.wlai.management.AIRuntimeMBeanImpl@de02e6c
The weird is : There is no same object name, as you can see, domains are different, folders are different and ports are diferrent, including multicast addresses.
Have you guys seen this before ?
I'm under pressure here, 'cause some projects had stopped to work.
Please I would appreciate any help.
Tks.
Edson

HI there, thanks for attention..
See ...
There's a lot of confusion with these env's .
I did not built this, so... I'm cleaning my hands.... anyway... :)
I must fix....
Well basically if we have two env's, so we have different project each one right ?
Ok, but I was told that if you have on the same network and same physical machine the name of AdminServer as "AdminServer" in all domains, so it goes with problems... I never heard about it... but is a good practice you put the names for example :
WLI - WLIAdminServer
ALSB - AlsbAdminServer
WLI2 - WLiadminServer2
ALSB2 - ALsbAdminServer2
I would do it.. this way..
But how it wasn't me...
We got..
WLI - WliAdminServer
ALsb - AdminServer
WLI2 - AdminServer
ALsb2 - AdminServer
Have you got it ?
So... I was told that this could be a problem, almost all AdminServers with the same name... guess what ?Some Projects are back to work. but not at all.. only some.. so I 'm breathing better now... but I would like to know if you seen this before ?
I would appreciate your help again.
Unfortunately there's no detailed stack trace to track this
Tks.

try removing your "localhost" from the windows hosts file and then do it all over again using your ip or hostname.

The [repo_proxy 13] error seems to be a catch-all for BO in that I've worked with this software (XI R2) for 1 1/2 years now and each time I've encountered [repo_proxy 13] it has been for a different reason, thus, you're going to have to apply troubleshooting checks all over the place until you find the problem. In my particular case I just resolved my [repo_proxy 13] error I've been working on this week, and here was my scenario. Our server in the lab died due to a hard drive failure, so we cut our losses and installed a new & more powerful server. When the rebuild was done I could not connect from my laptop to the repository via Designer (good old [repo_proxy 13] error). After much angst, etc, etc I found out that the servers in the CMC (/businessobjects/enterprise115/admin/en/admin.cwrwere">http://<server>/businessobjects/enterprise115/admin/en/admin.cwrwere) were all down except for one (even though CCM showed all servers "up"). When I went to start the servers in the CMC I was prompted for an account, and no matter what account I tried it won't work. So I went back to the CCM servers and stopped them all, then changed the default account it was using from LocalSystem to the administrator account, restarted all servers in CCM, went back to CMC and noted that all servers were now up as well. Then I went back to my laptop and used Designer and was able to successfully log in. Thus, the end of my story, however, it seems that many [repo_proxy 13] errors have different beginning and endings. For instance, a year ago I had the same [repo_proxy 13] error and brought it to BO tech support. They determined that I had to uninstall my client from my laptop, clean out the registry for any references to BO keys, and remove the c:\program files \Business Objects folder, then reinstall, and sure enough it worked in that case, but not in this case when I tried it again. By digging deeper I found out the root cause to my current problem, and voila, I'm in!
Good luck!

• Error AIP-50079 : Transport error: [IPT_HttpSendHostNotFound]

I was trying Tutorial 3 ( EDI X12 over AS2) from User's Guide. As per instruction, I have configured two B2B Servers. Both the servers are up and running. When I am enqueuing 850 message from Acme server, It's not going to the other server. The error message I see under Reports->Error is:
AIP-50079 : Transport error: [IPT_HttpSendHostNotFound] Host oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com: oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com cannot be found. oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com: oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com.
Not sure why Host name is showing twice (oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com: oracle01.dev.rapidigm.com) in the error message? It should be <Host Name> : <Port>, right?
Similar thing happened when I enqueued 855 from GlobalChips Server.
Appreciate your quick response.
Thanks
Saumitra

Thanks Ramesh!
Actually I had to give IP address instead of Host name. Now My message is going from one server to another. However I am getting 'An unexpected error occurred during validation' error on the receiving side. Here is the b2b.lig in Debug more.
Appreciate your help.

• OTA-HTTP-SEND-1005 Error while sending to destination B2B

Hi,
While sending ebxml message to destination B2B, we are getting error as
Message Transmission Transport Exception
Transport Error Code is OTA-HTTP-SEND-1005
StackTrace oracle.tip.transport.TransportException: [IPT_HttpSendConnectionRefused] HTTP connection is refused.
I tried opening opening https://<hostname>:443/b2b/transportServlet url in the browser and could see that destination B2B was accepting connections.
I went through few threads in forum which suggests that difference in RMI port number may cause this issue. But that is not same in my case. I have the same port number in both tip.properties and web.xml.
Please find below the extract of my b2b.log.

Re: Outbound HTTP - Connection fails Hi,
I got my issue resolved. I refered to a similar post on the forum. All I had to was adding proxy settings in tip.properties. For benefit of others I'm pasting the link I've refered to.
