Tried many things and my iTunes still will not open

I recently did a full restore on my computer, and when I tried to open up my itunes through the shortcut and going through "start, all programs, itunes" I received an error message saying "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience"
Now I have tried everything possible that i could think of to fix this problem software listed on the online manual, and the advice with the forum.
-I have done a partial restore on the computer,
-I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software about 15-20 times, but when I believe that iTunes is completely removed from the system....it seems to still be there
-I have turned off my virus protection.
-I have deleted files one by one and reinstalled the system.
-I switched USB ports, "my computer" recognizes that I have my ipod connected but not the iTunes, and also it pulls up "autoplay" and when i looked into the file for music it saying that I have a few songs in system but it doesn't show up on the actually ipod
-I even downloaded the update off the internet and it STILL will not even open the program. Not to mention that when i plugged my ipod into the system it erased all of my music and contact files.
I'm so lost and confused and i don't know what else to do...please help me. Thanks

Itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close
the first thing that i check for when people report getting that message when they try to launch their itunes is a broken QuickTime.
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly, or do you get an error message?
if you get an error message, the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.0.4 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.0.4 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

Even after redownloading iTunes and Quicktime, iTunes still will not open.

I was on this board a while ago with the complaint that my iTunes would not open, and I recieved no real help about it. I got replies, but nothing suggested helped at all. I looked over the boards for others with the same problem and found a LOT. Some people responded to their topics with advice, and I tried all of the advice I could find, but nothing would work. Is there any NEW advice? ): This is pretty distressing. I paid for my iPod so that I could use it, not just stare at it on my desk.

Indesign CC and Illustrator CC still will not open

InDesign CC and Illustrator CC still will not open. I have tried every possible option to fix it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the programs. I was contacted by someone in customer service last Monday the 27th of April and my issue is still not resolved. It was stated to me that the issue may be dealing with the server and I have not had any feedback on if the issue was resolved or not. I pay for this software and it has not been working properly since I got it. I have projects that I have been working on that I have not been able to complete in a timely manner. Assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Iphone not recognized by itunes and my safari also will not open??? Help??

I bought an iphone and synced it. When unplugging it, I realized all my apps I downloaded were gone off the iphone (I did find them in the itunes folder however) but the issue is, my Safari and my itunes program will NOT open. They bounce once and that is it, never opens. No errors, nothing. I have been going insane trying to figure out what the problem is. Anyone else have this issue?

My network connection ia active, I tried again a bunch of times, I tried restarting my computer, I read a lot of forums, and tried the tips Apple gives you. Yet the music store will not connect! Please help!!!!!!!!!

Numbers documents from iOS need Numbers 3.2 on a Mac to open. And Numbers 3.2 requires Mavericks. If you are using Mavericks you can get Numbers 3.2 from the Mac App Store. It will be free IF you have Numbers 2 (iWork '09) installed. Otherwise you must buy it.
Your other option is to send the Numbers file as an Excel file via e-mail to yourself to open with an earlier version of Numbers.

When I click on the store it just never opens, I do not receive any message. I try to "refresh the page" and nothing. While having the store selected I go to "help" and check for updates and i get a message; "The iTunes updatte server could not be contacted" and it prompts me to check my internet connection which is fine. None of the items under the "Store" respond with anything.
I ran a iTunes Diagnostics/ Under "Which Tests do you want to run" I check only "Network Connections" and the results that I receive is...

First, there are no Mac viruses in the wild.
recently random sites have had a warning message thing come up that looks like a Norton Anti-virus telling me to run my browser in 'safe' mode or something.
So far it hasn't really done anything malicious, but I'd like to stop it before it does.
The file is an .exe file and unless you are running a Windows partition on your Mac, the Mac OS X cannot open those files. You're OK! If you are running Windows then you would need anti virus software, but it would be installed on the Windows partition, not the Mac OS X.
Nothing to be worry about. They are trying to get your to purchase anti virus software. Norton a/v for a Mac is the worst thing you could install. It's invasive and impossible to UNinstall.

You will have to close firefox.exe with the Windows Task Manager from the "Processes" tab of the WTM since you don't have a widow to close.
The best way to close Firefox is through File > Exit, for those who stuck with the "Firefox" button click on the Firefox button then Exit. It is not perfect but it is a lot better than just closing the window with the "X" in the upper right corner

I upgraded to the latest iTunes 11.1.4, after a prompt from the iTunes store. But will not open after the upgrade. One of three error messages told me to reinstall. I did. Restarted and scanned. But no help there. So I unistalled and re installed from Apples' website. The installation was okay as usual but still will not open. Keep getting the same error messages. Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
