In Mv45afzz u will find save document prepare ..once the document is saved it will trigger if executed from VA02 Transaction create your delta.

Can sales order line item text be replicated to production order through standard PP configuration? If so how can it be done?
If that is not possible through standard configuration then can it be possible to read both sales order line item information and production order information using a BAPI or a program?

Replicate the Sales order Line Item Text to Production Order

I want to replicate the Sales Order Line Item Text to Production Order? Please tell me if this is Functional job or a Developers Job?
I believe this can be achieved by customization and doesnot need any programming and I am trying hard to gather relevant posts for this, but didnt find any.
Please help me with some information if some body encountered this earlier.

Do you know what's the name of Function Module for getting Sales Order Header / Item Status Overview ? Any sample code will be very much appreciated.

Getting Message no. TD600 while reading sales order line item text

Dear Experts,
I want to read text from sales order line item through ABAP, but unable to fetch the text data in the program & getting the below message: Text 0020001169 ID Z003 language EN not found.
But in the same program I can fetch Header text data, that means the text read program is correct. If anybody faced the same issue & already solved the same then please let me know the solution so that I can get out of that problem.

As per the message no. you have posted. it is clear that respective text record doesnt exist in the database.

"/SCMTMS/TRQ~ROOT" is for sales order header and "/SCMTMS/TRQ~ITEM" is for details.
I assume you need to
enhance the structures for these nodes to hold your add. fields;
and do the same for the input parameter of service TransportationRequestRequest_In (which is used to create OTR) from PI side;
Pass the add. fields during service call (impelment in ERP system);
Map the fields from service paremeter to node attribute (implement in TM system, BAdI /SCMTMS/TRQ_SE_TPNRQ_REQ~CHANGE_MODIFICATION create modification table for the input parameter).
I cannot find source code for all of that; hope it helps.

Sales document header/item text

Header and item text saved during sales document create uses XXXXXXXXXX as the tdname, because the sales document number has not been determined yet. Occasionally, this text gets left behind. Subsequent documents being created get the stranded text. We have been using the delete_text function module to get rid of this text. Is there a fix for this?

There is an OSS note 539221, describing similar problem but it is fixed in patch level 2 and you are already on level 15.
Have you opened an OSS message for this problem ?

Changing Sold-to party on an open sales order deletes item text

Hi,
When changing the sold-to party on an open sales order document, all of the item text is deleted. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, or is this standard?

If u r wishing to change the sold to party for a particular item it means u r not selling that item to him. U cant have 2 different sold to parties in a single sales order.. U can change other partner functions at sales order level but not sold to party partner function....
U can assign reason for rejection to close this particular order and raise a fresh order in favor of the sold to party u wish to for that particular item...

Sales Order line item status change using STATUS_UPDATE

Hi all,
I need to change status of a Sales order item during (VA02) transaction. I have written an user-exit in MV45AFZZ (perform user_exit save_document_prepare- using STATUS_UPDATE FM and passing appropriate values to JEST_UPD and JEST_INS table for the FM. If the user chooses a status while changing the SO line item, it should be over written by another status which I supply in the user-exit.
How can i achieve this? Please let me know if someone has achieved this?

Hi Ricky,
Instead of user exit , if you want to maintain a status update at the sales order item.
Go to BS02 and create a status profile when you can give the approval and rejection node. also maintain the business transaction according to business requirement
than go to vov7 and maintain this status profile at the item level.
Try it out it will definately work.

Update Sale Order Header Text through Enhancement

Hi Experts,
I Have a requirement to update the sale order Header Text , when the sale order is opened in VA02 and saved.
Here in I tried using edit_text, it updates sale order header text directly in DB during run time even before the save action is completed.
But I need to just fill the header text and that has to be saved during the save action only.
I tried coding the same in the user exit (userexit_save_document) but this user exit gets triggered only when there is some changes made to the document when opened in VA02 & Saved.
Is there any user exist to pass sale Order Header text and save when save button is clicked irrespective of the document been changed or not.

My actual requirement is to trigger an Idoc when the user goes to VA02 transaction and clicks save.
IDoc gets triggered only when there is some changes to that document, that is through NAST table entry based on the output configurations in NACE transaction.
Now that the user wants to trigger an IDoc even if there is no change (ie. to reprocess the IDoc) when he just opens a sale order in VA02 and click save.
It is not possible to trigger an IDoc through configurations when there is no actual change in VA02 and saved.
So it has to be forcefully sent by making some additions to the Order through coding, so I choose that Text box to fill some additional data and save .
Kindly Let me Know any thing could be done for this scenario.
