Trigger event for during subinventory transfer

Hi
I would like to have a hook or to trigger an event (like firing a concurrent program) when subinventory transfer is performed. Is this possible and how to do it?

You can write a personalization that fires a conc. program.

You can use boolean controls to simulate the tag values and then set events based on these boolean controls.

Can you tell us where are you calling this FM (is it via Enhancement option or badi or exit) to trigger the event?
Just leave the Receiver FM as same as in SWE2 and make sure Linkage Actiavted check box is checked

for our workflow object, it references to class is developed by me.
As suggested by Rick, you could make use of FM or as per blog, you could use class to trigger your custom class's event. Then you need to have binding at task level (PFTC)
&EVT_OBJECT& --> &WI_OBJECT_ID&.

I have about thirty front panel buttopn controls on my user interface. They are all very spread out so I cannot put them all into a cluster. I have created a reference for each one and put them into an array. Each one of the buttons when pressed I want to trigger the exact same event on an event structure, but dont want to have to create 30 duplicate event cases for each button? any ideas how I can group them so that they trigger the same case?

Mike is right, the label of the event is taken from the label of the wire, typecasting this gives you the ability to rename.

Trigger event for BW

I got an event from BW that need to trigger in R3, may I know what I need to do?
I know that there is a FM name 'BP_EVENT_RAISE' that I can use to trigger the event, if possible.
But before that, what do I need to do in R3?Do I need to register the BW event in R3?

Trigger Event for Task Deleted

hi,
I need to handle Task deletion in workflow. But there is no standard deleted event available.
So I have created custom business object ZBUS2175 and have delegated to std object.
Now using BSVX transaction I am trying to assign this event when status is changed to I1102. But event is not getting triggered.
Is there any other status I need to set?
Please reply.

The BO your using is a custom one,
If Yes Goto the BO, Release that Event,Save and generate the BO.
other wise, if you created a Subtype of the Std. BO, check that Z-event you created is released and the BO delegated to Std. BO, save and generate the BO.

How to trigger event CREATED for Bus.Obj BUS2126003 (Vendor Settlement)

I want to start a workflow inside Agent Business, when Vendor Settlement (BUS2126003) is Created.
The problem is that the event does not get triggered when Created. Not even the CHANGED event is tiggered during change.
Currently I have workflow on the objects BUS2144001 (Customer Settlement - Agency Business )
and BUS2100001 (Settlement request list - Agency Business). Both these objects gets triggered when created (EVENT = CREATED).
I try to find out a way to trigger CREATED for Vendor Settlement. Do you have any suggestion for this?
I've tried to find any exits, Badi's, ...from where I could trigger the event myself.... but with no good result...

are you talking about ERS (Evaluated Receipt Settlement) in SRM?
If yes, check with the settings in IMG, there is an ERS flag in Vendor master record that needs to be set for that vendor.

Now after creation of outbound delivery, i can't post the goods issue. Before i have to make the transfer order and confrim it and only after this i can post the goods issue in the VL02 t-code.
Could you please advise - what i have to customize that to make automatic GI for outb. delivery (i mean with creation material document) during the TO confrimation.

Unable to change the LOV of To locator in Subinventory transfer form

I am trying to change the LOV of To Locator field in the Subinventory form.
I have made the trigger event as "When-new-form-instance"
In actions tab:
Built in : Create a record group from query and gave a name to the record group
Property: LOV - ENABLE_LIST_LAMP - Group_name - <gave the name of the record group>
But it gives an error : Cannot create the record group.
The name of the column in the form for To Locator is : TRANSFER_LOCATOR and its defined at the item level.
Can anyone please help?

During the implementation of a recent project, we suffered from the same issue. There seems to be no way to recolor that part of a pivot table, but you can remove it by disabling the row header... which, in your case, should also remove the header "Class".
The way I see it, the users would already know what that Class column is supposed to be about. So you don't actually need to have that header displayed, if you ask me.
If someone has a proper solution to this question though, I'd be interested :)

I put this right before the point where local file systems are mounted, because the progress bar can't be updated before /proc is accessible. Another option is to initialize these variables in the beginning of rc.sysinit to make earlier stat_busy calls get counted, but the updates won't be visible before /proc is mounted anyway.
Because there is no way to export these variables from rc.sysinit to init's environment, rc.multi has to calculate them from scratch. Also the loop that starts daemons has to increase the counter because the daemon scripts can't export the new values. My full rc.multi script looks like this:

Like I mentioned in my previous post, it's hard to know how many steps the bar is going to need. Especially rc.sysinit is full of conditional stat_busy statements. Therefor I made it possible to specify $BOOTSPLASH_SYSINIT (number of steps in rc.sysinit) in rc.conf. With the current rc.sysinit script this value is calculated as 19, but on my system rc.sysinit only executes 8 of the steps after the point where /proc is mounted.
The code presented here doesn't display text for the different stat_busy calls. I kind of had that working as well, but the texts were written on top of each other (old text wasn't erased) and you had to source the bootsplash-theme to get the text's font and position - it wasn't pretty.
I hope somebody finds this useful, and I might make a bootsplash package that includes the splash utils, an Arch theme and patches for the init scripts.

Printing dunning notices using SMARTFORMS,error during parameter transfer

Hi Friends,
                I face a error message "Include text ZGA_DUN_HDR does not exist (object TEXT, ID ST)" when i run the dunning run.
                I had searched every node for text ZGA_DUN_HDR in the smartform,I didnt find the text in it.
However when I execute the smart form for print preview an error message "Printing dunning notices using SMARTFORMS,error during parameter transfer".This error i believe is due to wrong parameter passing in the fm 'GET_SF_DUNN_DATA'.It raises an error no_parameters_found.All parameters are passed correctly.
                Can you guys help me out.

Excise Invoice generation during stock transfer

Hello All,
For an excisable item it is a rule in indian localization whenever the goods leave the warehouse it has to carry a proper excise document. This is possible in case of a delivery. But how to manage this in case of stock transfer? When the excisable goods are transfered from one warehouse to another then a excise invoice is to be generated. How can this be managed in SAP Business One? Please suggest.I am using SAP Business One 2005B PL 41

This Functionality is not available in SAP 2005B.
As a workaround,
Create Journal Entry for Excise Duty & VAT
For Excise Invoice, create a seperare PLD in Inventory Transfer Screen
Note:
This feature of Excise Invoice generation during stock transfer is available in SAP 2007B
