Trouble reinitializing form through rollback action

Hello,
I'm working with ADF Faces RC 11g in combination with Business Components. One of my views is used just for inserting rows into the database. Therefore the tuning option "Retrive no rows from database" is activated on this particular view. In the form, where this view is used, there is a button which is executing a rollback action. This should reinitialize the form. However after executing the action every component of this form is in read only mode. If the changes made by the user have not been commited, even the old values are displayed in the input fields. After navigating to another page and going back to the page, which is based on the insert only view, everything is working fine.
Does anybody have an idea what is going wrong? What can I do to clear all changes and reinitialize the mask. Do I really have to clear each input field manually?

Hello,
I discoverd that the read-only behaviour is due to no rows in the view on which the input form is based. Because of this I invoke a CreateInsert operation on this view if the currentRow attribute evalutates to null. However for some reason, which I do not understand, ADF creates and inserts a new row, which is instanciated with the values of the row, which has been current before the rollback. Does anybody know why this happens? What can I do to avoid this behaviour?

In a screen of WEB UI there is a option of OUTPUT preview. When i select the specific billing document and when i click on OUTPUT Preview tab it should display the Adobe Form which was developed in SAP GUI using txn SFP. I have done some R&D on it and i found that an ACTION Profile need to be created for this kind of requirements. But in my research i found only Smartforms can be displayed using the ACTION point.. Could anyone help me out how to display the Adobe Form using the Action......

Hi Robert,
I came across this post after implementing the same solution. It works fine for me in SAPgui, i.e. it creates an entry in the spool which I can priview or print, but when I use the webUI it just opens a new window with a white background and the message 'Error in smartform'.
Nitin, did you manage to come up with any solution? Or did this work for you?

Submitting PDF form through email

I created an order form PDF a year ago (with Acrobat Pro 8) for a client's website with a button to submit the form through email. The customers can fill out the order form in Acrobat Reader 8 and email the PDF to my client's email. Now that doesn't seem to work anymore - an illegal operation message comes up. I've changed the action for the button to submit the order form as a FDF file but the form data is not found once the email is sent. I've found the FDF Toolkit but have no idea what to do with it. Is there a simpler way for customers to fill out the form and email it to my client?

Sure. Just enable the form so Reader users can save it when it's finished then instruct them to do so and attach it to an email.

I'm facing this error when trying to access a form through https, i'm using OAS10g 10.1.2.3 over linux, it has webutil configured and is working perfectly with https

Set serverURL=/forms90/f90servlet/session in the Forms Web configuration default section or add it to the URL to start tracing host name and ip-addresses from clients. The output appears in the servlet log file application.log. sessionperf , perf and debug are the other options instead of session.

Access to fields of a form through IAC

Hello everyone!
I created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2 (included with Adobe Acrobat X Pro) an example form with several fields.
After that I wanted to access the fields through the Acrobat SDK's Interapplication Communication (IAC) capability by using OLE.
As programming language I choose C# from the .NET framework. But the only field that I could access was the signature field and only when it was signed. I could not figure out the mistake. Is my code wrong? Or is the created form wrong? Can somebody help?

Apple doesn't create installation disks for OSX 10.7 and later. You can create your own disk/USB bootable installer, but this requires downloading the installation package from the app store first.
1) Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Try directly connecting via ethernet port, versus Wifi, if you are experiencing a weak Wifi Signal or intermediate loss of connectivity
2) From the App Store, go to the Menu Bar, Store > Sign out.
3) Navigate to the /Applications folder and drag the partially completed download of the installer to the trash.
4) Open the App store, sign back in, and redownload Mavericks.

Problem in Creating Default Form Through DI API

I am using the below code to create UDO and make it as Default Form through DI API. But the Default Form property is not getting set, that is the Default Form is not being created. The UDO is getting created. Any help is appreciated.

Problem is that sometimes it will send an mail or sometimes not. I have no idea to solve this problem.

For a variety of reasons, mostly related to security, the iOS operating system limits what can be done with respect to file uploading and downloading. But whenever you encounter a limitation like this always think, "There must be an app for this."

Trouble Creating Forms in Dreamweaver

Hello,
I am having trouble creating a form in Dreamweaver for my website. The form is fairly basic, just some contact/comment input required.
I created my webpages using Fireworks CS4 and exported them as HTML and Images. The basic format of my website is to have a rectangular block in the middle of the page, where the form elements are supposed to be entered. However, it seems that I cannot simply add a textbox or textarea to the middle of my page. If I try, everything gets shifted around very strangely.
How can I leave the format of the page intact, but add in the form elements (name, email, comments)?

Is there a more seamless way of transferring webpages from Fireworks to Dreamweaver, such as CSS and Images, that would make it easier for me to work in Dreamweaver?
Would you recommend building websites in Dreamweaver, and not bother with Fireworks?

I'm not very familiar with Dreamweaver, so this may be a basic question to ask.
The trick is to be familiar with HTML, not DW, since HTML underlies everything that DW does, and that you want to do on a web page.
To add a form to a page without disrupting the layout of the page, you have to a) select a layout design that constitutes good practice, and b) build the layout so that it accommodates the form. I know that's not a very satisfactory answer.
First of all, unless you are fairly familiar with HTML, your layout will not be easy to implement because you will need to constrain the form and its elements to fit vertically within that central area. This is not so easy because you have no way of controlling how large or small I (as a visitor) am displaying my text in my browser. Thus, that form's content is going to expand or contract vertically causing the boxed area to need to expand or contract accordingly. This is layout 101 for an experienced developer, but may just push you over the edge if you have no HTML under your belt. So, I would discourage you from trying to use this design. Is that possible?
