Try to use recovery disk i made but it ask for disk 3 and there isnt one
My computer crash and when I try to use the recovery disk that i made form the system, it said it only took 2 dvds i burn the disk. then when my computer crash i try using the disk and all want good until disk 2 was done and it ask for the next disk i didnt change the hard drive or any other hardware. i had to send it back to toshiba for them to redo it. when i try order a set of disk Toshiba said they no longer carried the disk. its a new computer with window 8 model number s875-s7356 what happens next time its crash it cost me 60 to have them do something i should be able to do myself when you buy a computer new it comes with OEM windows and has a key number for that windows so why should i have to buy windows 8 when i paid for it when i paid for the computer is there a way to order a disk from MS that will work with the key the computer came with
The recovery image is probably closer to 12 gig in size than the 9 gig you can get on 2 disks. Get a 16 gig USB thumb drive and make your recovery on it. It's easier because there is no disk switching. I'd do it as soon as you get your computer back.

Been using an ipad 2 without passcode for quite some time. While upgrading to ios 7, I enabled Find Iphone on the Ipad. It asked for passcode and I gave one. Now I forgot it. Connected it iTunes (on my windows 8 system) with which I sync and that too required an update as old version of itunes cannot read ios7. Problem is itunes does not want to get updated. Place the iPhone into recovery mode and restore the iPhone with iTunes on your computer.

how do i migrate files from a imac to macbook pro using an ethernet cable. the migration program asks for firewire and i don't own a fireWire. I do own an ethernet cable though
A FW cable would be far faster & Easier, but with Ethernet you need a compatible version of Migration Assistant running on both Macs.

The password prompt is supplied by the operating system, and is intended to protect you from accidentally installing software. You will get this prompt for any installation outside the App Store context.
If you do not need to enter a username or password when starting your computer, you can probably just leave the password field blank when acknowledging this prompt. -
i've just redeemed a $50 iTunes card. Credit shown on account is correct but when i try to make purchases it asks for my user name and password even tho i'm already signed in and it sends me back to the redeem page. please help!

Try restoring the iPhone to factory settings. If you are having difficult restoring, put the iPhone into Recovery Mode and see if that then works:

If not, or if a restore to factory settings does not fix the problem, then your iPhone may have a hardware problem. You can only get the iPhone serviced by Apple in Canada, so you will have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know in Canada who can get the iPhone serviced and send it back to you. The only option for getting service in Pakistan would be to pay some unauthorized repair shop to attempt a repair, after which Apple will no longer provide any service even in Canada.

There is no user name needed to "enter" or use iPhones...

Well my sister lives in US and she just handed me her old iphone 3gs. The phone was locked to AT&T .While trying to acees it an error message is popping up that Iphone is disable,Please connect to itunes.Well i downloaded a new version of itunes and while connecting it in recovery mode and tryuing to update it it is giving an error.i asked my sister to unlock the phone so i could use it on any network .she has applied for it and will get the code in one week. What should i do?? Please help.
Restore the device as new with an AT&T SIM card or wait until it is unlocked and restore as new with another carriers SIM.

I changed my email address for my apple id but icloud still has old email adress and when I try to signout so I can sign in with new address it asks for password and then says invalid so I cannot delete the account to sign in with the new one! Please help
OK...now I appear to 'progressed' I changed my email address back to original on Apple id and then was able to delete icloud account. Apparently I couldnt do it as it kept requesting password when I entered passsword ( both old and new one, it wouldnt accept it as it had my old email address in ) It didnt do that on ios6 . Anyway I deleted account, but now I tried to login in with my new id/password and it says unable as already in use!!! More help needed please! Its a nightmare!!

Tina Hadley did you migrate/transfer your applications over to your new Macintosh? If so this could cause problems with your serial number being recognized. Please run the available uninstallers located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool. When using Firefox certain videos play but the image is green and distorted.. help?

When using Firefox certain videos play but the image is green and distorted. The image turns into lines and sometimes it half of the screen of the video. Examples are streaming MLB.tv video and some vimeo videos. The odd thing is that it isn’t all Vimeo videos. Is this a flash issue?
The issue does not happen with Internet Explorer which leads me to believe this is an issue with Firefox. I downgraded to 3.5 and the issue still persists.
