You can try to repair your library. Once you are sure the files are all taken care of, you can sync the phone to remove all of the music and then sync again to add it back. That should take care of the issue.

You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.

I have a new ipod nano. On itunes it is saying that I have purchased and downloaded the songs I selected, however, they are not showing up on my ipod. The ipod is connected to the computer and charging. Can anyone help please!

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

I purchased my first iMac yesterday evening. Playing with it, I downloaded a few songs off some CDs. Today I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 and tried to download it. I put the software in and the iMac tried to recognize it, but no luck. What happened?

My iMac tried to recognize a newly purchased software program and failed to do so. Do I have to do anything else to download software.

If you downloaded it then presumably it downloaded as a compressed file, likely a .dmg file. If so double click it to mount the dmg as a folder on your desktop. Open the folder and you will see the files. Drag the folder to a location of your choice. e.g., Applications). Then you should be able to execute the application in that folder.
Just to confirm, when you said you "put the software in the iMac", what was the name of the "software" file you copied?

3. Create New Apple ID
4. Confirm Your Country
5. Agree with Terms and Conditions
6. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (must be a valid email address)
7. Create and answer your secret question e.g. What is the name of my dog?
8. Select NONE for Billing Information (see picture below)
9. Fill in Billing Address i.e. your address
10. Submit application for new Apple ID
11. Wait for verification email
12. When email arrive, verify your account
13. Start downloading your free apps

In iTunes go to general preferences and check the boxes for those you wish to see in the library.
