Trying to handle JS's error.

Question

Hi there, im trying to handle an error "No such element" this way:
// trying to handle an error.
// check if text frame named "Value1" exist. If it is, then duplicate it.
// If it doesn't, then show the message(just to check
// that script goes further).
try {var mTxt = app.activeDocument.textFrames["Value1"];}
catch (e)
mTxt.duplicate (app.activeDocument.activeLayer, ElementPlacement.PLACEATEND)
alert ("End of script");
but this code still doesnt work shoing me an error message, whats wrong?

try67, thanks for reply, but your last sample doesn't make it all clear at all. I want to remember, im trying to handle with "try" and "catch" operators, which doesn't work in my situation.
// refreshed script with "getByName" operator.
try
var myTxt = app.activeDocument.textFrames.getByName("123");
alert(myTxt.contents);
// if object "123" is absent in this document, then go further
// and dont show any nasty "No such element" messages!
catch (e)
alert ("Script goes further");
It's still doesn't work and showing me "No such element" if i have no "123" object in document. :(
