TS1389 I keep getting a message telling me my ipad cannot be synced because my computer is not authorised for items purchased on this i pad. I tunes tells me it is authorised and o have follewed the sugestions for windows 7 and it stil wont sync.

My ipad wont sync when i try to put old apps back on, it tells me my computer is not authorised for purchased items for this ipad. I have followed the steps for windows 7 but it stil wont sync. I tunes tells me the computer is authorised. What can i do?

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.
No answers here, but you are definitely not alone with this issue.

Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

My first inclination is to answer your question --- yes - something is going wrong! I'm sure more specific information will be needed to help you.

iTunes can't find your media files, which are normally located in ~/Music/iTunes. Try a Spotlight search on your computer for your media files, and move them back into that location. If you can't find your files, then try going to your backup drive, if you have one.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Notebook and trying to update to Windows 8.1. Looking into this I have found that sometimes it is a driver issue usually associated with USB devices.
Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices, as these could cause some issues.
Plug the power adapter directly into a functioning wall outlet. Do not plug it into a power strip, surge protector, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.
You can do a system restore. System restore will help if something automatically updated and did not go well on the Notebook.

Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.
Open the Firefox disk image file and drag the Firefox program into the Applications folder on your hard drive.
You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.
