TS1398 Can't join wireless network. Get message saying "unable to join the network". My wife's phone is connected so problem must be my phone - any ideas?
When trying to access my wireless network, get a message "unable to join the network". I tried turning everything off and back on, reset phone, etc. (all of the suggestions under troubleshooting guide). It was working until last night - it suddenly wasn't on anymore and then I couldn't get back on. Any suggestions?
1- try updating your phone (If you can)
2- try reebooting
3- (I know this sounds crazy but) put it in the freezer for a few hours.

Turned airplane mode on, off, and tried again
Verified that the iPad DOES have network access by browsing the web with Safari (not using 3G/4G, wifi only)

I can not join the my home WIFI network. I have iPhone and iTouch connected as well as my windows laptop. I have trie power on rese, and network reset. What do I do next?
This is something else you can try.
Go to Settings>WiFi>Your Network Name (tap the blue arrow)>Forget this Network. Reboot your iPad, hold down on the sleep button at the top for a couple of seconds until the red slider appears, slide to shut down. Then press the sleep button again until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button and the iPad will restart. Try to join your network again. -
I am trying to burn music to a CD-R- message says: unable to locate the original file. Music is on the iTunes program but will not play or burn. Is there something I should change to be able to burn to CD?
If they were songs you purchased from itunes, try redownloading them from your purchases...
if that doednt work, make sure the optuon to copy files to itunes media folder is checked in settings, then find and download from the net. and re-add them to your library -

I have been given a new ipod nano to replace my much loved but old ipod. When I plug it into my laptop to sync it I get an error message stating "itunes.exe - entry point not found. The procedure entry point AVCFAAssetCreateWithByteStreanAndOptions could not be located in the dynamic link library

Have you tried tapping on your id in Settings > Stores on your phone and logging ouy of your account and then logging back in and seeing if that 'refreshes' the account on it ?

I have tried uninstalling iTunes and all of it's "Apple counterparts" (like Quicktime, Bonjour, etc)
I have also tried to restore my computer to before it crashed, and that didn't work either.

Visual Studio made changes for your whole system, if the file has been moved or deleted this error would occur.
Since you mentioned that you get this error almost everywhere even in control panel. We suggest you repair/reinstall your Visual Studio first and check if it could be fixed.

Any solution to this problemIf the problem is sending to just one address and it has worked in the past, I don't know if this will work. My #Username and Password were showing 'Optional'. Filled them in with the correct details (email account login) and that fixed problem. -

Hi everyone! WE just got an ipod touch 8G. We do have wireless internet, but can't join the network with the ipod touch. Message comes up.."unable to join the network".....very frustrating! If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

Airport express can't extend wireless network
Airport express(A1264) can't extend wireless network. It seems that Airport express can't find my home Wi-Fi network. Amber light is blinking, and AirPort Utility of MacBook also can't find Airport express.
If AE is connected with TC via LAN cable, amber light is blinking with message "Wireless Network" (This Airport base station is set up to join a specific wireless network that can't be found...)
It was successful only once, but all failed after that.
Is there solution for this problem?

Sorry, I misunderstood what you wanted to do.
Since you did tell us that you had the Express connected with an Ethernet cable, I assumed that was how you wanted to configure the Express.
But I want to extend a wireless network (not using ethernet)
Because Airport Express and Time Capsule cannot be connect via ethernet cable.
Follow the same setup as above....and do not connect an Ethernet cable.
Keep the Express near the Time Capsule for the setup. Once you have a green light, move the Express to a point that is about half way between the Time Capsule and area that needs more wireless coverage.
If you reset the Express several times and try the setup several times without success, I think you have to suspect a defective Express. -
Laptop can't see Wireless network
I turned off my power strip the other night which turned off my Lynksys WRT54G router. When I fired it all back up, my laptop can't see the router. My blue-ray was connected to the router via ethernet for Netflix and it is still able to work through the ethernet cable and I can get online with my laptop with an ethernet cable, it just won't see my network wirlessly. It can see neighboring wireless networks though. Help!
Advise you to log on to wireless router configuration page and recheck the wireless configuration again, try to find out any incorrect configuration. If need more ideas, can take a look on this wireless network troubleshooting tips article, hope able to help you more.
