TS1702 How do I uninstall an app I do not want? I downloaded some free games, and apps and do not want than.

How do I uninstall an app? I downloaded a few free games, and apps, and do not want them. Please let me know how this is done. Thanks.

Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking (you can't delete any of the Apple built-in apps). If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

The games might be free but I think you've clicked In-App purchase which cost money. You are warned before you accept the In-App purchase. You not that young and you can read so take action if you must. It's your own fault and all purchases are final. Good luck.

  • TS1702 How do you uninstall an app from the IPad? I can find no uninstall feature in settings.

How do you uninstall an app from an iPad. I cannot find any uninstall feature in settings and no help feature.

Press on the app and hold until the apps begin to wiggle. Tap on the circled "x" that appears in the upper left corner.
If you sync with iTunes, then connect the device to your computer and open iTunes. Select the Apps option under the Library heading. Locate the app, select it, then press the Delete key. This removes it completely.

  • TS1702 how i can uninstall an app

i cant uninstall an app from my accoutn i i dont want it any more how i can do it?

You can delete them from your device (by pressing and holding them for a couple of seconds until they shake and then tapping the 'x' on them), but it's not currently possible to permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they are less visible : hiding and unhiding. As your phone is on iOS 6 you will need to do the hiding via your computer's iTunes, it doesn't currently work directly on iOS 6 devices

  • I have to update all my application in my App Store however they are asking for the credit card details since this is to update only. Even to download some free games still they are asking my credit card details since it is a free. Please help me..

I have 11 updates in my App Store but every time I click the update they ask first my apply ID that would be fine but after they will ask my credit card details since this is only to update. Please help me.
Also, even I would like to download some games it's ok to ask for our Apple ID but in the second time they will ask for the credit card details. Please help me

My younger brother had the same problem. You have to go into settings, app store, details and then change your credit card details to none. If there is no none option, you will have to use a different apple id.

  • How do I get rid of isearch.fantastigames. I was downloading a free CCLEANER and followed instructions. The next time I booted up, it was there.

http://isearch.fantastigames.com/439 keeps on coming up on my webpage instead of Mozilla/Yahoo. I cannot get rid of it. Is this MALWARE? My PCPITSTOP expired so I searched for a pc cleaner and found CCLEANER and downloaded it. Followed instructions and the next time I started FIREFOX, it was now my new search engine. I hope that I am phrasing this right. Thanks.

You have downloaded CCleaner from page that bundles downloads with various toolbars. So while you are not infected with malware, you got a PUP - potentially unwanted application.
    What you should do:
    1. Go through your addons list and remove everything you do not recognize
    2. Reset your search providers in Firefox AND in other browsers (it is likely to affect all main browsers on your PC, no mater which one you use)
For firefox: [[Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/remove-toolbar-has-taken-over-your-firefox-search]]
For other browsers you [http://www.majauskas.com/how-to-manage-browser-search-providers can try this one]
    3. Scan with anti-adware programs

  • How do I uninstall an app entirely, not just deleting it from the Launchpad?

How do I uninstall an app entirely, not just deleting it from the Launchpad? I've delete the app at the Launchpad, but the remaining files of it are taking up space in my macbook. How do I do that?

As Cunnla says, the best way to remove an application and all auxiliary files associated with it is to use a developer supplied uninstaller or, lacking that, directions on uninstalling from the developer. Unfortunately, there are a number of applications which have no developer uninstaller nor instructions.
Some won't recommend it, but I use AppDelete for those apps with no instructions. It gets rid of most auxiliary files and I've never had a problem with it. I just make certain that the auxiliary files that AppDelete selects are, in fact, associated with the application.

  • How do I uninstall "completer" app ?

I keep getting a pop-up message prompting me for my password, because "Completer wants to make changes". How do I uninstall this app. And is this malware ?

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
If Safari crashes on launch and you don't have another web browser, you should be able to launch Safari by starting up in safe mode.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those.
After removing the malware, remember to reset your home page in all the web browsers affected, if it was changed.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere  should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
    or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
    if it's not already checked.

    Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, Easy Find, instead. Download Easy Find at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are also several shareware utilities that can uninstall applications:
    AppZapper
    Automaton
    Hazel
    CleanApp
    Yank
    SuperPop
    Uninstaller
    Spring Cleaning
Look for them at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
