The address on the billing statement from the credit card company must match the information that you have filled in on the fields in iTunes when you set up the account. In other words you cannot abbreviate in iTunes if the information for you billing address is not abbreviated on the statement that you get in the mail. If the statement lists your street as "Street" and you type in "St." - that can cause issues. If that's not the problem, sign out of your ID, restart the iPad and sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again.

    Hi im new to this forum, and need a help. Im having trouble updating my Facebook app. This happens for 1st time. I dont know why it cant update it. Keeps promting its unable to download the app at this time. I tried a hard reboot 3-4 times but useless. Deleted the app n re-installed. didnt help as well. my ios is 7.0.3 update. Internet connection only via wifi. dont have the 3g/4g connection. the speed is good. but it keeps saying cant do. i wonder whats the problem. Here's the problem. And still fighting with it to update. Please help me..

    There seems to be an issue with that app. Perhaps the update wasn't a good one and it was pulled creating a little logic loop where the app store tries to download something that's not really there.
    In any case, just ignore it and give some time and come back to it.

    Trying to make an in app purchase and it saying that my debit card info doesn't match my account I have no idea what that means. I've never bought anything through the App Store.

    You would need the following:
    1. You will need to have a valid billing address in the country
    2. You will need a credit card with the same billing address
    3. You will need to be physically present in the country at the time of
    purchase

    It asks me to sign in with my apple id and the one that shows up and requires a password is an old one that is now non-existing. It wont let me sign in with my current apple id. I dont know  whats going on because everything in my phone and under my account is with my current apple id.

    Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out...
    Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
    If necessary...
    Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try Signing in again...
    Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
    Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
    Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
    Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...

    To see a purchase's details, click the arrow to the left of the order date. Your most recent purchases are first.
    The web order number appears under the date of each transaction.

  • I'm having trouble updating my apps in Creative Cloud.

    I keep getting an error message when the download is almost complete.

    Please open task manager/go to processes and look for AAmUpdate Notifier and manually kill it. try to install again. If still the same issue follow the mentioned steps:
    1. Verify for Windows Installer can start:
    Windows7: Click Start and type services.msc in the Start Search box.
    Double-click Windows Installer.
    Verify that the Startup Type field is set to Manual and start Installer
    Click OK to confirm the setting.
    Start the installation again.
    If still the same error:
    Go to C/Program Files(X86)/Common FIles/Adobe/OOBE and reanme it to OOBE.old. Try installing again.
    Enable hidden Admin in case the issue still persists and try installing again: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista/ .

    I agree. I don't rely on iCloud as a backup, that is what I have my portable hard drive for. Its 500 GB so I can hold my entire iTunes library several times over on it. I have all my movies on my hard drive, but somehow "The Mist" got deleted off of my hard drive, so I figured "Well, the option to redownload an already purchased movie is available through iCloud, I'll just do that!"
    And permissions and download availability have nothing to do with it, the movie's still there, it still allows me to redownload it. The only problem is when I click download, I get that message.
    And nobody else uses my computer, but I do have multiple accounts authorized on it. Even still though, I am attepmpting to download it through the account I purchased it under. :/

    1. Open the control panel
    2. Open Add/Remove programs (called "Programs and Features" in Windows 7)
    3. Navigate to "Apple Software Update" in the list and click on it
    4. Click on "Change" then select "Repair" (or just select the repair option in Windows 7)
    Once you repair this, try running iTunes and the update again.
