What do you mean it has gone gray? Were you trying to update the app and it stalled on you?
Do you backup with iCloud or iTunes on your computer? If you have all of the files backed up then you should be able to delete the app and reinstall it - if needed.

Did this back along to mine. Plug it into itunes on your pc (or Mac) and click on the ipod icon on the left hand side. When the device options come up on the main screen, click on restore. Follow the steps and it should restore to factory settings. If you had icloud activated on the ipod all previous purchases should be in the cloud and ready to download onto the ipod afte rit has been restored to factory settings, otherwise you'll have to download them all again. You could try emailing iTunes support, giving them your order number, etc. or you could just take the hit and pay the 99p. I know what I would do.

I have purchased music that is on ipad and plays but is not in libary on pc as i cleared hard drive to portable backup ?how can i get back ? and sync ipad without losing it al ?

i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

if i have to open a browser, go to www.icloud....why on earth did they not just leave us an icon to drop it in in that case?

All the email (over 75) I had imported into my iMac from my PC and which were stored under ON MY MAC in mail have disappeared. They were there for a year. The number 75 appears behind the word "import" but there is nothing there. How can I find them?
I found them!!!! I closed out Mail and started it up again and there they were....wierd!!!!

Keyboard clicks and lock sounds are off even though the settings show them as "on". How to get them back?
Use the volume buttons on the side of the phone. Personally, I find it's better with those off completely.

Even without an external drive as long as you have Time Machine turned on you can go back a limited amount to restore.

Deleted them from where? The photos in your albums are not the actual photos in your library. So if you deleted the photos from the Photos section of iPhoto, then you have deleted them period. All of the photos in your Albums are just "pointing" to the original photos. Albums are just a way of organizing your photos, but they are not copies of them.
Did you delete them from the Photos in iPhoto?

apple update erased my playlists, they are no longer showing on my iTunes. I am missing songs that do appear in iTunes and should be on the ipod but are not, and new playlists that I didn't have are now where mine should be. Any suggestions as to getting "MY" ipod back?

The chances are your replacement came with an older version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > About > Software Version... does it say something between 4.0 and 4.3.5?
Plug it in to a computer with iTunes to update it. When you launch iTunes it should prompt you to update to iOS 5.1. -
Hi, I'm trying to get my sons Apple Ipod back to work but im unable to because the I-pod says to connect to I-tunes and is dissabled. When I connect it to I-tunes it says to put a passcode which I don't have. Can someone help please??

By chance have you tried connecting your device to your Desktop (USB Cable) & then opened up the Device Files using iTunes?

When ever we create a form a debug.log is created and there is nothing in the file. If we delete it then the logo in the dynamic form disappears. Can anyone say why its formed and what is the use of this. Thanks, Anusha
