USing Numbers app but can't copy excel spreadsheet attached to a gmail email into Numbers. Apple instruction state that you click on opened document and choose option to open in Numbers. Don't have this option, only an option to open in Safari. I need very complete instructions, I'm pretty new to IPad apps. Thanks!

when I open spreadsheet attachment, only option is in lower right hand corner-- a box with arrow. When I touch this icon it gives me a choice to open in Safari or Cancel. No white dots.
PLs be really basic with your response to me. I thought I am pretty computer literate but this has be baffled.

If you want Bridge CS6 to open when using Photoshop CS6, you must quit Bridge CC.
Then File menu > Browse in Bridge will bring up Bridge CS6.
If Bridge CC is already open, The File > Browse in Bridge for Photoshop CS6 will use Bridge CC and Bridge CS6 will not open.

It calls both the ipad and iphone when calling the associated email address for the ipad. However, when I call the iphone it does not call the IPAD.

I do not know if someone wrote it already, but here is a quick and dirty code for doing that with UTL_FILE.GET_LINE

Soution: Delete the printer and add the same printer back in, therefore creating a new print queue.

Can I export values from an excel spreadsheet into a dropdown field in Acrobat?

Sorry this is not something that we currently support. You have to enter your items manually. Once you created you field though you can copy in paste to other forms so you only have to create it once.

I found the answer to my question.
When you attach a device (iPhone, iPad) to your Mac, in iTunes 12 in appears as a tiny icon in the second "row" of the iTunes display. Click the icon and the familiar iTunes display for the device appears. From there, on the Summary screen, you can see the dates of the backups of the device (iCloud and backup to the computer). You can also use the button to backup to the computer.

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? Take a look at the article below, it provides suggestions that will resolve most issues that cause an alert like that to appear in when starting the Mail app.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5/5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.1 sometimes can not open its own files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has not only managed to confuse all its users, but also itself.
Note: Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Office 2013 x64 - Inserting Excel spreadsheet into OneNote

Hi - I'm inserting an Excel Spreadsheet into OneNote, using the following commands (in OneNote):
Insert > Spreadsheet > existing > (locate it) > insert Spreadsheet
The Spreadsheet is inserted, but the "preview" below displays only upto the first 95 rows by 29 columns
I only noticed this when I was exporting my TechNet Keys to XML, then into Excel, then Excel into OneNote, and noticed that the Spreadsheet preview only went down as far as "Visio Professional" i.e. it didn't show the rows with
"Windows ... keys"
Worse still, is that there seems to be no indication (eg. scrollbars), that Spreadsheet preview isn't showing all the data
Is there any way to change this 95x29 cell preview? - I would like to see more rows (29 columns is way enough for me)
I've tried dragging the border, but that just resizes (zooms) the view
I know I can click on the Excel icon, and open the Spreadsheet in Excel, and see all of it,
but I like using the Spreadsheet preview (as it syncs to OneNote on my mobile, and is viewable without actually opening/editing the whole Spreadsheet)
- any ideas ?

I realize this is an old post, but I came across it trying to solve the same problem and came up with a solution that might help others. Hope it helps.
If you define a Table in the spreadsheet, you can choose to display it in the OneNote and it will show the whole thing.  You can also define multiple Tables and choose to display them also.
To create a Table in a spreadsheet:
Highlight the area you want to show
On the menu bar choose: Insert > Table
Fill in a name (for example: TechNetKeys)
Hit OK
Save the spreadsheet and return to OneNote
Right-click on the preview of the spreadsheet
Choose "Select What to Display..."
Uncheck "Display Everything"
Uncheck "Sheet1" (assuming your Table is on Sheet1)
Check "Sheet1 TechNetKeys"

That is just the way this forum works - users get help from other users and learn from others and like to contribute if they see they can help.
My latest challenge was typing in melodies and chords of songs I'd written on the piano. But using the Musical Typing in register C3 I inserted all the notes by playing on the imac keyboard (and written in the treble clef). The only problem is you cant insert the chords at the same time. Now I have an empty bass clef, which requires chords be inserted in register C2 and I dont know yet how to do that.
To fill in the chords: Join a melody track and a bass track, like this:
- Create a new software track and record the chords separately with musical typing.
- Create a new track and copy your melody loops there (just as backup, if something goes wrong)
- Do the same with the track containing the chords.
- Then select all loops in the copies of the melody track and the copy of the chords track and select from the main menu
Edit -> Join.
Now you should have a track that contains the bass as well as the melody and both staffs should be filled in the track editor, so you can print both at the same time.
However, there will be some notes assigned to the wrong staff - very low melody notes will appear in the bass cleff, very high chord notes will appear in the melody cleff - and I don't see how you could fix that in GB.

This has nothing to do with Oracle Enterprise Manager
SQL Loader is command line and it needs to be installed with SQL PLUS (The wrong install type will not have it)

Can't get this html to work in safari

I want to put a boombox on one of my html pages. I have a
program from Coffeecup that does this. It changes mp3 files into
swf and then makes a flash player that plays the pieces. It there
fore makes an html file with the flash embeded, as well as a xml
file that contains the listt of pieces...and also a javascript.
When I go to the directory that Coffecup made, and click on
the html file , the page comes up with the boombox and it plays
fine. That is if you use firefox or Interrnet explorer. THE BOOMBOX
HOWEVER WILL NOT PLAY UNDER SAFARI. I need it to run under safari
becasue I want to put the boombox on a cd I want to distribute; to
PC owners as ell as Macx owners. Here is the code that won't work;

It's all there was to it. A complete reboot solved the problem.
Note to self: when you experience weirdness on an iPad, just reset it:
1. "Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds"
2. Then turn on the iPad again by pressing the top corner switch
