my iphone and ipad are giving me the same message when I tap the mail icon. "Password Missing Enter the password for the account" When I enter my password, I get another message saying " The operation couldn't be completed (MFMessage Error Domain error 1032) I need help fixing it.

Just bought a new 4th gen iPod Shuffle for my kid. Problem is I cannot do the initial set up, as the device does not show up on iTunes on my PC. Also the charging does not light up. Any ideas on what could be wrong, as I am able to see both my iphone and iPad on iTunes using the same PC?
I also tried manually underlining a few things on the new iPad and when highlighting a paragraph, it would skip a few lines and the line would go through a few as well. Looks like a major iBooks glitch needs to be addressed here.

My ipod will not charge from a wall socket but will charge using the same cable if the usb end is plugged into a computer or directly into an airport power source. My iphone and ipad charge fine on the same cable using the same wall plug in the same wall socket. This makes no sense but I see that it has been posted as a problem elsewhere. This must be due to some kind of degredation of the Ipod. . It is not fixed by IOS resets as others have noted.

Iphone and iPad Both Wiped at the same Time
Whilst looking at ebay, my phone shut down, and the apple logo appeared, i have had a few iphones and seen this happen before and then it comes back on like a restart, but this time the apple logo looked a little stange, after about 10 min the iphone came up with its welcome screen a selct options language etc.
Thought this was odd so i conected it to itunes and restored it from a back up, whilst it was doing that i thought i would carry on looking at ebay on my ipad to see that it too had been wiped and was on the welcome screen.
The iphone is iphone 5 and the ipad is a later generation with lignting conector.
Now is there any way that this could happen without someone logging into my icloud account and erasing the devices ?
PS. recently been fired from workNot now, as you can't restore the backup. Before it was wiped you could have checked for an installed profile. I assume you had a corporate MS Exchange email account, and remote wipe is a feature of the Enterprise management package for the iPhone. If Apple did not have that feature no business that was concerned about data security would allow company data on personally owned (or even corporate issued) iPhones.
I also assume that your backup was encrypted, as that is a feature also. So you can't use a backup extractor to check for what was in the backup. -
My windows firewall is disabled (protected by Comcast's Norton program) so that should not be a problem. Should I down load Bonjour?

If you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found"
Verify that the printer:
Has power and is turned on. If it has power, turn the printer off and then on again to see if that resolves the issue.
Is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.
Has the latest firmware version installed.
Has paper with enough ink or toner installed.
Is free of any errors displayed on the printer's control panel.
If necessary, consult the printer documentation or contact the printer vendor for help with the above steps.
Notes:
AirPrint printers connected to the USB port of the Apple AirPort Base Station or Time Capsules are not supported with AirPrint.
Some Wi-Fi AirPrint printers can take several minutes to join a Wi-Fi network after being turned on. Ensure that the AirPrint printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network before attempting to print.

I have updated my Apple TV to 5.1. Using the Remote app on my IPhone and iPad I can browse the music library on the Apple TV but I cannot select a song to play. Has someone else the same problem?
MatsI think I found the reason. On my iMac that is hosting the music library a song already was playing. This seems to block out me from selecting another song though my Apple TV.

2 iPhones and 2 Apple Watches on the same Apple ID
My household has 2 iPhones and 2 Apple Watches on the same Apple ID. When using the Apple Watch to contact one another (taps, drawings, heartbeat), the alert is duplicated on both Apple Watches. Is there a fix to this?
iMessage has a setting that allows each device to select from which phone number (or email) alerts are received. I see no setting like this on the Apple Watch for watch-based communication...Using More than One iDevice on the Same Computer
This applies mainly to couples who are adding another device and do not want their email, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To begin read: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. You need to establish a separate Apple ID and password for whomever will use the new iDevice. See Apple - My Apple ID and Frequently asked questions about Apple ID. The easiest way is to do this on the computer using iTunes: iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
On the computer create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This will be the user account that person will always use. He/She will no longer use the other user account. This way that person will have a separate iTunes Library. Note that once done you cannot "share" apps under a single Apple ID. Each of you must purchase your own apps under your own Apple ID. When you decide to split up like this one of you will need to re-purchase the apps that they want to use.
Start by transferring the new device(s) to a new account along with all your data. Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap on Albums icon at the bottom. Now, tap on My Photo Stream album; tap Select; tap on the photos you want to select;, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow) in the lower left corner; then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep then you need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself. Later you can copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account. Choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.

Cannot find apps purchased for iPhone and iPad in iTune
My iMac 27 running very slowly under Mavericks and since the upgrade of iTune to version 12.01.26 being impossible to complete a sync of my iPhone and iPad I decided to completely reset my iMac 27. Before doing this I copied all the files I wanted to keep on my MacBook Pro (including all my music and apps for iPhone and iPad).
The OS X Mavericks being no longer available on the App Store I completely reset my iMac 27 and installed OS X Yosemite 10.10. Once this was done I copied back all the files I wanted to keep from my MacBook Pro (running Mavericks) to my iMac 27 (now running Yosemite). There was no problem with all my music now appearing in iTune. However I cannot find any of the apps I bought for my iPhone and iPad and which I copied back from my MacBook Pro (running Mavericks) to my iMac 27 (now running Yosemite).
All the copied back apps appear correctly in the following directory of my iMac 27 :
Musique/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Applications/
However none appear in any of the 5 sections in the Apps section of iTune.
I decided to purchase an app in the App Store to see where the related file would appear and it appears in the same directory as stated above. I can see the icon of this newly purchased app in the app section of iTune but none of the apps I recopied from my MacBook Pro. Moreover when I go in the app store to see the newly purchased app I can see that it has been downloaded. However when I try to do the same for the apps I have already purchased and recopied the App Store tells me to purchase them. When I try to do the same on my MacBook Pro the App Store tells me that the apps have already been purchased, though they were the copied apps from my iMac 27 before full reset.
Can someone help me to get all my previously purchased apps in iTune on my iMac 27 so I can sync my iPhone and iPad without loosing all the apps which appear on them ?Fruit Ninja has a unique iPhone version and a unique iPAD version. So for this particular App you can buy both. That said, if you decide to buy the iPhone version, the iPhone version will also work on your iPAD too. But the iPAD version which you have already purchased will not work on the iPhone.
So to summarize, iPhone apps will work on iPAD, but iPAD unique or specific apps will not work on the iPhone. Some apps are designed to work on both beyond the features of just the iPhone app. The Fruit Ninja HD unique or specific iPAD app will not work on the iPhone. -
Why can't I update or load new apps on my iPhone and iPad. It does not ask me for my password. I tried to sync from my laptop now I am unable to connect to any sites from internet explorer. When I try to update or load any app it tells me it is corrupt

i have a targus 4.0 bluetooth usb adapter and so i can pair my iphone 4s and ipad air wirelessly, it seems to pair ok but when i try to connect i get a error message or not compatible. can some one tell me if it i can use this bluetooth with my devices, thanks

You can only add songs to your iOS device from iTunes via Wi-Fi sync or via your cable, not Bluetooth.

That's because app content is stored in the iPhone backup, not the app. What you should have done, is first restore from backup, then sync your iTunes content...the app in question...back to your phone. That would have restored the app data. However, if you've synced, since restoring the app to your phone, the app data is gone.

Who is email provider? What sort of email account is it - POP3, IMAP or Exchange? POP3 will work like this as with that whoever first downloads the latest mail from the server deletes it from there and so it's unavailable to other mail clients on other devices.
Either switch your email account to IMAP or change your POP3 account's settings so the new mails are not deleted for some time (a week, a month or whatever) after first download and are thus available to other devices also (IMAP is best solution but if POP3 is all that's available from whoever your provider is then you'll have to live with POP's limitations).
