You will either need to take the phone back to the UK yourself, or mail it to someone you know there to have him or her bring it in to Apple for you.

my bluetooth is no working (when i try to turn it on it does not turn on; no problem reported).
Problem started while driving the car and the phone was pairing with the cars system constantly, it bothered me and had no time to turn of blutetooth. When the phone asked if I blocks a certain file (don't know the name) from starting pairing I pushed "yes". Since then the bluetooth is not working.
Did 'restore settings', no change. Do not wont to clear device or go to Nokia care.
Can I type something in terminal to fix this (how can I unblock a certain process)?

IPhone4s bluetooth not working

None of my Apple equipments (iPhone 4s with iOS 7.0.3, iPad mini with iOS 7.0.2, iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.2) failed to pair my bluetooth earphone (Plantronics BackBeat GO) after I forgot the above device from my iPhone 4s bluetooth device list yesterday. I tried to turn off bluetooth -> turn on my earphone and put them in pairing mode, then turn on bluetooth again, but no device is found. I also tried to reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings accoridng to KBTS4562 (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4562) ..... still not working. Can anyone help?

Finder is not working-how to fix?

My finder windows are not responding, they´re visible but the content is not clickable and the exit/minimize buttons in the corner are grey or vanish.
I am thus unable to close them. This has happened once before and I restarterd my mac to clear it. Whats going on and how can it be fixed?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up guest users” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Win XP Apple hardware drivers not working- how to fix?

Snow leopard / Win XP SP2. After running the bootcamp install, and the drivers were installed off OSX disk (I could see them being installed in the messages), Win XP rebooted but the "found new hardware wizard" did not locate the drivers and I can't find them on the Win partition. Hi, and thanks. Under "Startup items" tap in msconfig, no Apple related items listed but such things as "IMJPMIG, TINTSETP, TINTSETP, KbdMgr, ctfmon". There is a Bootcamp control panel item. In add/remove programs, we've got
Boot Camp Services, Apple software update, Boot camp service, High definition audio driver packages, Microsoft office, Realtek High defination Audio driver, Windows Driver Package-Apple Inc. (appletb) Bluetooth (04/06/2008 2.1.0.1) and many similar for iSight etc. . But although seems the drivers are in, network etc can't be enabled.

Expansion Slot Utility not working -- How to fix / Get a fresh copy?

I want to configure my PCIe slots to 8x 8x 1x 8x...
The reason for this is because I'm fitting an ATi X1900 with a passive cooler (Noise!), and it won't fit in the double-height slot.

Hatter...you can't run it from the Utilities folder...it won't work. I tried. Only running it from the CoreServices folder worked.
So is that now false?
I launched the copy that I have that I put in /Utilities and confirmed that it will launch and works fine.
Next, I checked and saw that there was an option when you launch it to "not show again" in the window.
There must be something wrong on your end. So don't tell me I didn't read your post (or Ned's) and I did see that you had it open in back. Couldn't tab to it.
But.... it sounded like... you tried to confirm and re-launch it again. At least that is what I would do, to test whether it can be launced, rather than to say "can't be launched except from CoreServices" which I know to be FALSE.
No where did you say, "okay, it launches now from Utilities."
So be clear - it ain't easy.

Bled on keyboard, it's not working, how do fix

hi all
i'm not sure if my imac is intel or ppc so i just posted here. i have no idea what intell or ppc means. i got bit by a cat ( my fault) and had to send a message to someone so i bled on teh keyboard and it was a few hours before i cleaned it. i cleaned around the buttons, on top of them and into the gap under them as much as i could, but the letter p is stuck when it was working and now i put fresh batteries in and turn it on and the light on it goes green and then shuts off right away. since it's a wireless keyboard and matched to my imac, i want to keep it if possible. took a look at the book and it says sometimes apple will fix a computer, sometimes it can be fixed locally and sometimes y ou can do it yourself. i have yet to phone so i thought i'd ask you guys since you could answer me quicker. thanks.

Blood is sticky, and conductive, 2 bad things. The sticky key may just be stuck to the blood, but the logic board in the keyboard may have been shorted out by the liquid. Clean it carefully and then take it to Apple, tell them that you bled on it.

Stacks: Show in Finder does not work - how to fix

I have several folders containing aliases to my applications in my Dock. When I click on an icon I get the expected display of the icons and if I click on an application's icon the application launches as expecected but if I click on "Show in Finder" nothing happens. Console says something like this
"CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary." How can I fix this or do I have to reinstall?

Alert show but window does not move or size. Has worked in other version of firefox but stopped in version 8. Safari stills work.

You can't resize the main window. You can only resize windows that are opened via a window.open() call.
