TS3253 My Iphone 4S version 6.1.1 will not automatically connect to my bluetooth in my car. It is paired and registered with the car bluetooth, but I have to select the device each time the car is started.
My IPhone 4S with version 6.1.1 will not stay connected to the bluetooth in my 2012 Subaru Outback. The phone is paired and registered with the bluetooth in the car, but each time the ignition is turned off the phone loses connection with the bluetooth and I have to select the device again.

After leaving a wi-fi connection my iphone will not automatically connect to the internet using a mobile 3G network unless I turn my phone off and then back on again. Is there a setting that can be changed to overcome this?
Then I'm at a loss. Mine has switched automatically from the start, favoring Wi-Fi, any of its registered networks, whenever available. Only thing I can think of is trying a Force Restart and see if that clears things up: hold down Home and Sleep till the screen goes black and a white Apple logo pops up. Release and allow it to restart.
May be similar, when I got the i5 about 16 months ago, the local carrier was starting to roll out 4G service. The phone would regularly lose all carrier connection, voice and data. Haphazardly would reconnect when it felt like it afterwards. Initially did the Off/On dance to speed things up, but discovered that using Airplane Mode would do the same without the lengthier power cycle. After awhile, the carrier 'fessed they were having capacity issues and later the problem went away. So yours too may also be a carrier issue. -

You will need a Mac, with OS X 10.6+ on it, to be able to develop iOS apps.

after soft update 8.0 disconected from hands free system, every 5-6 second, over 2-3 second back into connection automatically.
After i changed into iphone 6 / only 8.X/

Update the firmware in your WiFi router. Look for an update on the manufacturer's support Web page.

My iPhone 5 will not automatically connect to my home wifi
My wifes iPhone 5 will not automatically connect to our home wifi, she has to log in each time (she has ios 6.1.4). Mine, however will connect automatically with no issues (we have same phone and ios). Here is what I have done so far to fix the issue and none have worked:
* I have reboted (hold home button and sleep/wake button)
* I have reset the network connections
* I have turned "ask to join" on, connected to the network, turned wifi off and then back on, it did not connect to the wifi
* I have manually connected to the network through the manual option, turned wifi off and then back on, it did not connect to the wifi
* I have erased all content and data and resored the backup from iTunes
* I have restored iPhone from iTunes and restored the backup from iTunes
My phone does not list a "forget this network" as an option on the wifi connection when I pull it up, so this is not an option. So, what else is there to fix the issue?Hi there Huskerscott!
I have some information here that can help you troubleshoot this issue:
Unable to automatically connect to Wi-Fi
Avoid giving your Wi-Fi network a common name.
Some wireless routers are preconfigured with a common SSID (network name) such as "wireless" or "default."
If your desired Wi-Fi network has a common SSID, try changing the SSID to something unique2.
If your desired Wi-Fi network has a unique SSID, reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN and APN settings.

I downloaded and installed the latest software for the iPhone 5 (Version 6.1.3) - the version originally installed was 6.1.2. Same problem exists - iPhone will not automatically connect to my home WiFi. Even after I select my network and it connects. I've tried a hard reset twice, I've uninstalled FB and reinstalled it, and I've tried uploading it 3 different ways--through my photo editor app, through the gallery, and through the FB app. Nothing works. Any suggestions? My Wi-Fi connection is great....
Really sounds like you are doing it right, but the FB app is notorious for being buggy after each update, which is fairly frequent. Try to upload via the FB webpage in Chrome on the phone. You can try the mobile or desktop verion of the page by tapping menu settings in the browser. Its a little different but it'll let you know if its the app or the phone.

IPhone 4 Version 4.3.3 will not connect to any app
Hey all, My phone was working earlier today and now it has completely stopped connecting to any app. The Wi-Fi is connected and I have the 3G on, but it keeps telling me there's no internet connection. I have shut the phone down repeatedly and thats not helping resolve the issue. Is anyone else having this issue?

Okay for those who are also having this issue : iphone 4s would not connect to xfinity Arris TG862 wifi router. I had a full signal from the router and my wifi showed in available address list but when I tried to log in and enter my password it would come back with a message stating 'unable to connect'
I did as Ed instructed above
On the cell phone I went to ssettings, general, reset and reset network settings.
Then on the router I changed the channel to another static channel 6
I was then able to finally sign on to my network!
I just hope that it doesnt log me out again!

My iPhone 3GS version 4.3.5 will not sync with my ical.
I've never had this problem before, but I recently switched to Lion and now my calendar will not sync anymore. please help. I've already tried syning my phone without the calendar box checked, and then syncing again with the calendar I want to sync checked. And replacing the calendar on the phone with the calendar on my computer, but nothing is working.
Honestly I replaced the phone battery with a battery from the local market (I don't even know if its original or not) but it cost me around 50$, and it worked perfectly since then.
so its either the battery is not compatible with IOS 4 or its simply dead!

Coming out of sleep my iMac will not automatically connect to the network
I've got rid of other networks in system preferences, but they still appear on the toolbar when I click airport, and my network is not first

Hope someone can helpIts seems replacing the kext from 10.7.2 helps, but that could be daunting for some users and tbh not something I would recommend. Apple could release a patch or wait to roll it into 10.7.4 or an updated 10.7.3 v1 maybe, who knows! Since there is a work around (the power button) I imagine it may be a while but I cannot speculate. For now I am connected via Ethernet and will be leaving things like this from now on as the connection is better, but for those that use wifi I would suggest just using the power button, and just wait and see, Apple will release the fix when Apple wants to, they never discuss bugs and glitches so we just have to wait and see, there is no time frame, I mean iOS 5.1 is still not out and people have been complaining since the 4S came out about bugs that 5.0.1 did not fix since October/November last year.

My iphone 4s ios 7/0/4 will not update music or apps from itunes 11.1.3. this was true with my pc since ios 7.0.3 even with update 7.0.4 and now continues with my new MacPro also runing itunes 11.1.3. as most state in previous threads, syncs all non itunes related data with no issue and appears to work correctly on itunes data but then hangs on the last step of updating until it times out. i have tried marking specific music to transfer, setting up new playlist, deleting some old playlist on phone but stopped short of restoring my phone back to new due to the amount of non itunes data that i will lose. The itunes setup on the macpro was completely with the download of all music from a previous external backup and the creation of new playlist - on the first sync with existing phone it did ask to overwrite all phone itunes data with macpro itunes data which i did accept - no different result - no changes on phone.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the problem continues, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement. -
Ipad will not automatically set date and time
My ipad drained and when I recharged it the date read 31 Dec 1970. Now it will not automatically connect and update the date and time, and cannot connect to itunes. I can recieve emails on this device but I can's send emails. So it must have some kind of connectivity...would appreciate any comments or help. Very frustrated.
Try resetting it. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
