Accessing Gmail suddenly stopped working on both my Powerbook pro running latest OS and Mail versions and on my iPhone. I can access via the web. I get the error that my password or username is incorrect. I reset my password in Gmail and confirmed it works on gmail, I then changed it on my Iphone and Mac Mail. It still does not work. I deleted the gamil account on mail on my mac and reinstalled it and it still will not work

I too started having my password rejected in MAIL.app for imap.mail.me.com for my icloud email address. Can login to icloud with web browser fine. This has been happening off and on for several days.....if I wait 2-3 hours it will suddenly start working again, but then problem re-asserts itself ;-)

.p12 certificate; getting an error that my password is incorrect.

When I try to export a mobile project in Flash Builder 4.6, I'm getting an error that says "incorrect password" for my .p12 certificate. This is inaccurate because I did the process over three times and carefully and gingerly made a simple password, yet Flash Builder keeps saying the p12 certificate PASSWORD is incorrect. is there a way to fix this or bypass the password bug?

I can browse the rest of the web fine but am locked out of wikipedia and bit.ly and javascript has suddenly stopped working in my website. Has something fallen over and if so, what??

Since last night, I can't load wikipedia or bit.ly The rest of the web seems to work fine, albeit *some* sites, but not others are a bit slow. The reason I think it might be a Firefox thing is that when I use a proxy server I can get in immediately (but free proxy servers are annoying and I still can't edit Wikipedia).
I'm on a mac so don't think I have a virus, but it is odd that things are very selectively going wrong. Any clue what it might be?

Do you see a headphones icon when you adjust the volume on your iPhone, without headphones connected?
If you do, you might have to try and get the gunk out of the headphone jack, if not try a reset, restore, or service.

I just brought my MacPro in for service and they replaced my hard drive. However, now my disc drive has suddenly stopped working! Is there anything I can do to fix this without having to take it back in for service, again!?

The nearest service center is 2 hours from my house and my computer isn't under warranty anymore, so I need alternative options. I'm just frustrated that my disc drive was totally fine until AFTER I took it in for service. I just paid a lot of money for a new hard drive from the apple store and now my disc drive has suddenly stopped working correctly. I tried with multiple CD's and DVD's...loading a disc, but my computer would just make a weird loading noise and then eject the discs. Now it has started fighting taking the disc, so I have stopped trying. Is there anyway to fix this problem without taking it in for service again and paying another boat load of money?

when you say that your disc drive is damaged, do you mean your MacBook Pro’s hard disk drive, or do you mean its SuperDrive (the CD/DVD drive)?
When you’d updated your MacBook Pro to Mavericks, did the installation succeed, and subsequently freeze up? Or did it freeze up during the Mavericks installation?
Which version of OS X was installed on your MacBook Pro before you’d installed Mavericks?
Are you currently able to boot into the Mavericks recovery partition? To see if you can do so, hold down a Command key and the R key while starting up your MacBook Pro.

Spry widgets js suddenly stopped working

A Website I designed using Dreamweaver 5.5 and spry tabbed panel widget suddenly stopped working; I have made no updates to this page, and have not made any updates to spry menus, css or widgets. I did add google analytics, but that was over a year ago; this problem just started yesterday. Adobe abandoned the Spry framework last year. If your site, or someone else's site that you linked to, was deriving scripts from Adobe's Spry Labs server, those files are gone. You can read more about it below.

Gmail suddenly stops working

Hey everyone, my Gmail account has worked beautifully since I set it up with Mac Mail, but yesterday it suddenly gave me the error that the POP user name "[email protected]" was unrecognized.
It's been working for a year without a hitch. I just got a Macbook for college, but that shouldn't be the issue either because it has been working fine on it, too. I'm using my dorm's internet, but it has been receiving and sending fine for two weeks.
Can anyone help me troubleshoot? I have two Gmail accounts that are very similar, both which I use in Mail. I've compared the settings of the two, and they are identical...yet one works, and the other doesn't. I've double-checked that POP is turned on, also. Thanks for your help!

I was able to get it working "briefly" by unchecking the "Use SSL" in the Advanced tab of the preferences and saving and then going back in and putting it back. The mail started to flow in and then stopped working after a monute or two and gave the pop password error again. Clearly something is going on with Google right now...

For my computers, though some of them support BlueTooth devices and accessories,
my preference and economy of standard, is to have wired USB and also use powered
USB hubs for accessories.
I've used USB wired keyboards and mouse products; and some I've bought from the
original owners who had upgraded to BT, and never used the new Apple USB model;
so I have spares of these on-hand since they seldom fail, but do work when BT won't.
{A SMC reset should not cause a problem, or seldom has; but can solve some.}
In my opinion, the wired USB keyboard is an essential accessory, if not a necessary
primary means of user access on a continuous basis. At least until the wires fail...!

My Gmail account is working fine on my MacBook Air and iPad, so it must be something with the phone settings that I can't figure out. The only thing that has changed recently is that I added additional iCloud storage for $.99 because I could not take any more photos... Any advice?

Do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
If that doesn't work - then delete and reinstall the email account.
Buying icloud storage has no effect - just keep in mind you bought more storage to backup to icloud and not more memory to your phone - you would need to delete data off your phone to gain back memory.
