I can no longer edit or add the track information for tv shows and movies. If, for example, there are 26 episodes of a tv show in a season and I want to edit their entries in iTunes to reflect 1 of 26, 2 of 26, 3 of 26, and so on, how do I do that? Does anyone know how to block a specific person's e-mail acccount in Mail??
I am trying to block a specific person from sending me e-mail. They insist on sending me that forwarding crap that I hate, and refuse to ignore my pleas to stop. So I would love to be able to block their e-mail address from my Mail account so I won't be receiving mail from them any longer.
Is this possible to do in Mail?

Mail > Preferences > Rules tab.
Add Rule button.
Give the Rule a name: Block <pest's name>
If all of the following conditions are met.
(select)FROM (select)CONTAINS <email address of pest> in text box
Perform the following actions:
(select)DELETE
click OK then YES.
Done.
In the panel on the right side of this page.
click MY SETTINGS
When it comes up Avator: click Edit Avatar
click Choose Avatar
Choose an avatar
At the bottom of the page click SAVE SETTINGS.

Good afternoon! I'm glad I can be here to help with this error. In the device this application is identified only as 'Talk', so that be more familiar to you. First I recommend opening the 'Market' app on your phone, then Menu>My Apps to see if this application requires an update. It will display a list on top of all applications that need to be updated. If nothing exists, tap 'Home' and go into 'Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Talk, then tap 'Clear Cache' and 'Clear Data' to remove the history of that application and stop the notifications. The app will remain on your phone for future use, if you desire to take advantage of it. Read more about Google Talk here

My wallpaper photo is not stored in my list of wallpaper photos, or in my photos.
Still displayed as my wallpaper.
How do I save this photo back into my photosNo, it is nowhere, just my wallpaper.

Request for feature or does anyone know how to lock a playlist
I have a touchscreen which causes problems when selecting a playlist as it sometimes drops the list on playlist above or below thus duplicating the tracks into that playlist...nice feature but tedious if you do not want it to happen, let the kids at it for five minutes and bye bye nice playlists.
Whilst this feature is useful when wanted, when not (99% of the time in my case) it is aggravating as I have to tidy up the playlists frequently to put them back.
Either to be able to lock the playlists or have a setting to control that behaviour would be nice.
The only way I have figured round it is to put the tracks on a remote machine and share them as you can not mess with those playlists, now if only I had another machine to do that with...
Michael.There is a somewhat clunky way to do it. First, go into your mail (Settings - Mail/Contacts/Calendars) and turn off (dont' disable) any accounts you don't want to be seen. Then go into Restrictions - Accounts and select "Don't Allow Changes." This will prevent anyone from turning the mail back on. When you're ready to turn it back on, go into Restrictions and either Disable Restrictions or go into Accounts and select Allow Changes.

When I open the “My Passport for MAC"; there is a a folder titled “Backups.backupdb”. When I open the folder there is a folder called "Paulevinemacpro”. When I open this folder there are numerous folder with date labels. When I open the one of these folders, there is folder called “MAC HD”. When I open this folder there are several folders titled; “Applications”, “Incompatible software”, “Library”, “System"; "User Guides and Information". How can I retriev past e-mails?
Rather than using the Finder to peruse Time Machine files you should use Time Machine directly. Open Mail to the folder from which you want to restore email and then pull down the Time Machine icon to Enter Time Machine. Select a date and time and which emails you want to restore and then click on Restore.

Bug fix from 10.9.4 doesn't resolve the problem with automatically connecting WI-FI. And guide from that article doesn't solve the problem too. Who knows the solution?

I have an IPAD 2 that I purchased two years ago. I would like to get a more current version of the IOS so that I can download games, etc. The instructions say to go to General and select Software Download. I do not have that option listed in my General area. Does anyone know how I should go about getting the more current IOS? Also, will the download hurt my IPAD. No. The Download is the operating system. It won't damage it because its released by Apple and signed to work on it.
It will update the Operating system to the newer version.

I have spent long hours dealing with costumers service <whose only modes of help are sending me out to buy something new or provide me with a hyperlink to help page that was two clicks away anyway> Between thier lack of knowledge and SARCASTIC JABS it's amazing that I have retained my sanity. I won't go into details but I'll catch you up. 4 sessions in live chat with LOOOONG delay in between responses and I can not make recovery disc, my phono jack does not function properly, my system can not communicate MTP <you know, what you use to fill your ipod, and I kid you not there is a fan LITERALLY RATTLING AROUND inside my 2 month old notebook. So what do I do? I exhaustively seach for away to get a hold of customer service, and all I can find are blogs about how HP costumer service sucks. Bear in mind that I did not put suck into my search engine. I put "HP QA and HP customer service" into google and what returned was BLOGS ABOUT HOW HP CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. Those were the most relevant results in google. So I finally come to this forum and find a thread about..........you guessed it hp customer service sucking.....but oh no an HP moderator locked it down and provided a link to the page where one can obtain the very customer service that has been deemed insufficient by the very COMMUNITY that it is supposed to support. The company was sold and that company produced a new version of Retrospect - Retrospect 8.x
So, as you've been told, you would have to be running a Tiger system with an old version of Retrospect software (5.x or 6.x - you would need to know) assuming you can find the software.
As best I can remember you cannot extract files from a Retrospect backup except using the software since Retrospect did not normally make a file by file backup rather it created an archive of the files in the backup. I'm assuming that the EMC/Retrospect people have told you that old Retrospect backups are not accessible by Retrospect 8.x?
