Tuner from plug-in

Hi All,
Having a recording section recently. It's quite strange about the Tuner Plug-in. There was no issue when I recording a bass via USB audio interface, that means, I c'ld just pick a string and check out the pitch on the spot through the Tuner above. But, I c'ld not use it when I recording an acoustic guitar via Preamp with Firewire. Which means, It c'ld be function properly after recorded and play it back. That means, I c'ld not check the guitar pitch via the Tuner during recording. Yes, record button enabled!!
Thanks for help.

Nothing is wrong with the tuner plug in. The error is extremely likely to be on you side. Check everything again, especially the bypass button. Also check that the incoming level is high enough and not too much noise in the signal. And make sure only one string is sounding at a time.
Cheers,
Jazz

Everything worked fine for the last two years but now every time that I play a tune from my itunes the file duplicates itself into my 'MyDocuments' folder. If I delete this the song is erased from itunes totally. Ideas??

You are of course deleting the tunes from within the iTunes interface.
The settings that I am referring to are your device settings for the iPad. It should show in the left column of iTunes when your iPad is plugged in.
Go through your playlists and make sure that the tunes(s) are removed from any playlist. You can prevent the sync as noted above then do a sync and the iPad should update with the content from you Mac.

Plug your iPod in and when it appears in iTunes, click on it from under Devices in the left hand pane.  This brings you to the Summary tab.  Locate and click on the Music tab.  What configurations do you have made from under this tab?  Is your iPod configured to sync those playlists?

How do I transfer tunes from my MacBook to my iPad without using iTunes Match?  I was told that I could do a direct transfer using my USB cable.

    Never owned an iPod?
Select your iPad under devices in the iTunes source list to make the various tabs for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes available in the main iTunes window.
This is also covered in the user guide. Apple includes a Safari bookmark with Safari on the iPad for access to the user guide.

  • How to delete purchased tunes from iPhone?

I am undable to delete purchased tunes from my iPhone (4s, ios7.0.2)  I can delete all other tunes through syncing on iTunes. However, purchased tunes remain on my iPhone.  To the right of the title of the tune there is an image of a cloud with a arrow pointing downward.  This indicates that the tune is to be downloaded.  This is strange, as these tunes are already in iTunes.  I tried touching the cloud to download the tunes onto my iPhone.  Once all were downloaded, I went to settings, general, usage and to the music app. The I went to edit and delete.  This did no good. The tunes are still there.  I have tried this several times.  On my last attempt, I download the tunes again (on my iPhone), the synced with iTunes.  The tunes on my iPhone were temporarly gone, but soon came back.  I do not want any of these tunes on my iPhone at this time. I don't know how to get rid of them.

    Hi clydedrnd,
When you see the song with the cloud icon, that means that the song is not on the phone, but can be downloaded from iCloud. If you would like to permantly delete the song from iCloud, you may find the following article helpful:

I inadvertently deleted the source tunes from my iMac.  How do/can I restore them from my iCloud account?

    Welcome to the Alpple Community.
Your iCloud account doesn't have anything to do with iTunes. With iTunes in the cloud you can redownload tunes you have purchased from iTunes (select purchases from the list of options in the top right hand corner of the iTunes home page.
If you have iTunes match you can redownload all your tunes by clicking the cloud icon at the right of each listing.

My MacBook Pro hard drive crashed a little while ago and has been replaced.  Is it possible to take tunes from iPod Classic and transfer all of them back to iTunes on computer?  Is this just for purchased tunes or can I do it for ones that have been burned from CD's as well?  Thanks for any help!

  • Can't transfer purchased tunes from Mac to PC on iPod.

I have 2 computers... a Mac and a PC. I've purchased various iTunes on each comter. I want to transfer the purchased tunes on the Mac to the PC.
After I copy the tunes from my Mac to the iPod, I connect it to the PC and click on 'Transfer Purchases' but nothing happens. The tunes don't show up anywhere.
    Any ideas would be appreciated!

Make sure your PC is authorized for the iTunes account you're transferring to it.
Click Store > Authorize Computer, put in your account information, and click "authorize." Wait for it to say "authorization successful" and then give it another go.
Also, you want to make sure iTunes on your PC is recognizing the iPod... it won't if your iPod is formatted for a Mac. If you want to check this, the summary tab in iTunes will tell you your iPod's format. You can also find out from the iPod by going to Settings > About. If the last item in the menu says "Format Windows" then you're formatted for a PC (which can be read by a PC and a Mac). If the last item in the menu is your model number, then you're formatted for a Mac, which cannot be read by a PC.

  • Importing Tunes from a network

Maybe a stupid question my first MAC. I've been downloading some tunes from my PC, networked to my new MAC. I am able to access the "shared" tunes and download them, only one at a time! In the "PC" world, I can use the "Shift" or "Control" key to select more than one item or all. I don't seem to have the same capability in the MAC. Looking at the drop down menus, nothing is highlighted even when I click on a tune. What am I doing wrong!?
Note: I was able to hold down the "Shift" key and select multiple tunes one time. After that, ONE TUNE AT A TIME! Thanks

    Hey Dennis!
Thanks for the response! I'm using the network connection, listed in the "Switch 101" you suggested.
After setting up access to the files (I want on the PC) via the network, I use ITunes to import them. All the files come over just fine, all listed in a neat column. That's where the problem is...when I try to select "all" using the same method as on a PC. I select a file, hold down the "Shift" key and drag the mouse. Nothing happens. In the PC world, it would select the files as I dragged the mouse. Or, using the "Control" key I can select files individually, and in mulitple. Hope that makes sense. What I can do is double click on one file and it will download the song, one song at a time!
The IMAC does not seem to respond to those keys. Although it did respond to the "shift" key one time. Another thing of interest, as stated in my original request, nothing in the drop-down menus is highlighted. There is a "Select All" under the Edit drop-down menu, but I can't use it, not hightlighted.
    Thanks for your assistance.

  • I have just purchased a new Mac and want to sync my ipod - previous computer was PC - can I recover tunes from the ipod to the Mac?

I have just purchased a new Mac and want to sync my ipod - previous computer was PC - can I recover tunes from the ipod to the Mac?

    1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
    2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
    3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPod but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPod with it.
above covers purchases from the iTunes store. for everything else, check out this post by Zevoneer.

  • How do I move my tunes from an external hard drive to my new pc

Move tunes from external hard drive to new pc

If the entire library (database & media) is already on the external drive (in the right layout) then you should be able to connect to it by holding down shift as you start iTunes and then choosing the library. If you only have the media folder on the drive then you need to do some preparation for the move first. See this migrate iTunes library post for details.
