Tuxedo Algorithm for remote domain calls

I have 2 tuxedo domains having similar configurations (advertising same set of services, one on HP & other on Linux). I need to configure both these as remote domains on my local tuxedo domain which will act as a request initiator. Now, I'd like to know how this tuxedo will route any service request to 2 of those remote domains. Is it in round robin fashion or any other ? And do I need to configure it explicitly in the configuration file, if so, then how ?

This depends upon how you configure the domain gateways. If you import the services multiple times within the same local domain gateway/local access point, then the domain gateway will round robin the requests. On the other hand, if you configure two domain gateways, import the services from one remote domain into one of the local domain gateways, and the services from the other remote domain into the other local gateway, then the local balancing will be a little more complicated. In this case you will have to separate domain gateways each offering the same services. Normally in this case Tuxedo will place requests on the first empty request queue it finds. If all request queues are busy, then Tuxedo will select the request queue with the least amount of work queued. The reason this is a bit more complicated is the way the domain gateway works. So it has a thread that pulls requests off of it's request queue, so under normal light to moderate load, the domain gateway never has any requests in its queue. Thus Tuxedo will handle virtually all the requests to the first domain gateway as it will nearly always appear idle.
My recommendation if these are single machine domains, i.e., SHM mode domains, then just define a single domain gateway and import the services separately from the remote domains. Additionally I would configure the other remote domain as the fail over domain for each service. Thus if either remote domain fails, all traffic will end up on the remaining domain.

I've never heard of this "JSONscriptRequest class", but as far as I know, the REST SDK doesn't support JSONP callbacks or JSONP in general.
For cross domain request, you'll find CORS settings on your WebApplicationContainer Server settings page in the CMC, but I'm not sure how / if they work.

Trying to set up my mail account for my website. Can receive but cannot send. I know there is a port I can use to get it to work but I haven't been able to recreate my research path for the last time I found the port number. Can anyone help?

The receiving email ports are:
IMAP is port 143
IMAP-SSL is port 993
POP is port 110
POP-SSL is port 995
Outgoing ports are...
SMTP and SMTP-SSL is on ports 25, 587 and 465. Port 587 has to be SSL, and port 465 is enforced TLS-wrapped and is generally used by Outlook users.

Multiple hostnames for multiple domains

I am currently running 3.0SP4 in Open mode without a gateway. I have one server instance with two domains (call them domain1 and domain2). Instead of having users have to go to append the domain name to the server URL, I would like to create two separate hostnames for each domain (call them domain1.test.com and domain2.test.com, both are in the same subdomain). I added both hostnames to the system and to the DNS and can reach the server fine. I followed the procedures in the iPS Admin Guide (Chapter 8 Configuring the Gateway, Using Virtual IP and DNS Names), adding the following:
domain1->Authentication->Domain URLs
/domain1
domain1.test.com
domain1.test.com/domain1
domain2->Authentication->Domain URLs
/domain2
domain2.test.com
domain2.test.com/domain2
I also editted the platform.conf file to include:
ips.virtualhost=domain1.test.com domain2.test.com 111.111.111.111
Domain1 is set to be the default domain.
I don't want to permit access to domain1 from domain2.test.com, or vice-versa.
When I go to domain1.test.com, it brings up the login screen fine and I can log in. When I try to go to domain2.test.com, I get a No Such Domain error.
I think this might be because it might be trying to redirect domain2.test.com to the default domain (domain2.test.com/domain1) and so I get this error, since it is not in the Domain URLs for domain2.
Or is it a separate problem? How can I fix this?

I found my problem... had to do with the default domain Domain URLs.

Remote Function Call

I am very much new to RFC, Can anyone help me to suggest some ideas for the following scenario.
1. For the created PA30 screen using webdynpro, i have to create RFC.
2. BAsed on the input from the system and the screen i have to write RFC.

AD account logging to a remote domain controller for authentication

Hi,
I have a weird issue with an AD account using a different logonserver when authenticating to AD. A domain admin account uses the local site domain controller but another account is using a remote domain controller as logonserver. I'm using both account
to logon to the same server (CRM 2011). But when I issue the command "set l' from the command line, they shows different logonserver value.
My issue is the crm account is pointing to a remote domain controller (windows 2012 R2) which I don't want and should use the local site domain controller (windows 2008 R2). The reason being is that the CRM server is on a test network (isolated) and
when we test an upgrade of CRM addon product called Experlogix, the upgrade requires to get authenticated by AD but it fails and I think the logonserver is the issue. When the crm account is used on the test server it points not to the local site domain controller
but to the remote dc which is not in the test server.

Start by checking that your are sites and subnets are well configured.
Use dssite.msc and make sure that:
You have AD sites that represent your physical sites
All the subnets in use are created and moved to the correct AD site
Your DCs belong to the correct AD site

How to Use synchronous RFC calls during test run for remote accesses

there is a Setting for the usage of RFC accesses from a tested system
using eCATT.
'X' - Use asynchronous RFC calls during test run for remote accesses
' ' - Use synchronous RFC calls during test run for remote accesses
I developed an eCATT as following :
SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_1 , Target_system_1 ).
SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_2 , Target_system_2 ).
My question is how to run the eCATT in a synchronous RFC calls
PS: I do not want to change the Target_system to the same one in the
above script of ecatt.Because I need to run it in 2 different Target
systems sometime.
for example, I give a Target_system_3 when run this eCATT
I want the SAPGUI_1 and SAPGUI_2 run the Target_system_3 but not the
Target_system_1 or Target_system_2 .
Could you please tell me how to make it without the changes in script?

This is the standard option value. Asynchronous are not the standard way and used only for very special purposes.

The commands will be executed in sequence. So each call will be synchronously replayed against TS1 and TS2.
What is you issue with this standard procedure?

Completely different AMF request packets for same remote service call from Flex to PHP using ZendAMF

I was trying to debug why one of the remote-services in our Flex application was failing randomly. What I found was interesting. Completely different AMF request packets were sent for same remote service call from Flex to PHP.
When the service call succeeds the AMF request packet looks like the following:

Also, following is the error message on Flex when the service fails:

We are using Swiz as the micro-architecture for Flex development and Zend AMF for remoting between Flex and PHP.
Any ideas what is wrong here, what is causing Flex to send different request packets for the same service & what I can do to fix it?

I have a two node 2003 cluster, When any one of the cluster node holding resources goes down, the resources are not failing over to the running node.
In the running node I receive the pop-up error message

After I click on ok on the pop-up error message the resources are coming online on the running node. If I dont click ok the pop-up error message. The Cluadmin screen is not responding and the resources are not coming online.

failure, I suggest that please schedule a down time to run “Repair Active Directory object” in “Simulate Failue of this resource” status. And the operation “Repair Active Directory Object” will force to update the object’s attributes.

You can use Skype for the audio calling part of that conference for maximum audio quality. Keep in mind that a group audio call in Skype is limited to 25 participants max.
Logmein would be used in parallel for the interactive screenshare.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
And sorry to report that OSX is more Widows like than ever, but….
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

EventListeners for multiple remote object calls

I have a Flex component that is displaying content from multiple (specifically two) remote object calls. I can call both remote methods, get the results back, pass them off to their respective ItemRenderers, etc. with no trouble. What I need, though, is a way to determine if I get no results back from either function call, to dispatch an event to trigger the next view state, and I don't know how to do that. Something like:

Remote procedure call failed and did not execute response after changing contents

I have reviewed the other posts related to this issue but have not found a solution.
I have done myself quite a mischief and hope someone here can help me out!
I'm running an old ACER laptop with Windows 7. This PC belonged to an old colleague and therefore all of the folders and user names were still under his name, so I decided to try to change them all to my name. The main issue was the USER folder which had
the locked symbol next to it but it wasn't locked at all. I googled how to delete this folder and one bright spark suggested I create a new folder with my name, copy all of the folders from the other 'locked' user's folder into my folder, and then delete the
old user's folder.
That was fine. All seemed well. When I tried to delete the old folder the computer sat around thinking saying it was 'moving' but not doing anything. So, I cancelled the operation in the Task Manager. When I attempted to open any folder from the start menu
or desktop or task bar I was presented with a bunch of numbers and letters and the message "REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL FAILED AND DID NOT EXECUTE."
I quickly googled the message realising I'd made a major error and the first response was to type in services.msc or something to that effect, so I typed that into the Start Menu search bar and hit enter and nothing came up. So, I tried again, but now I
couldn't type anything into the search bar, I could not even select any programs from the Start Menu.
So, I can't access the Start Menu, search bar, or any of the folders unless I open uTorrent, select open containing folder, and from there I can access what I need.
I'm too afraid to reboot the PC. I can't locate my copy of Windows 7 anywhere. I'm freaking out!!
Before I pour my lowly student wage into getting a professional to fix it, could someone please offer some suggestions??
