HI
Based on the condition layout1 and layout2 have to display.
suppose if u pass 1 layout1 have to display
if we pass 2 layout2 have to display
please help me.. i hope it is clear

Create Two Layout in the report.
Create one user Parameter.In the Parameter listvalues --> go to static values --> add Number 1 And 2
Go to the First Layout Repeating Frame press F11
If :P_1='1' then
return(True);
Else
return(False);

Go to Second Layout Repeating Frame Press F11
If :P_1='2' then
return(True);
Else

U can use one script in diffrent programs.
Yea u can do it in NACE transaction.
procedure would b as foloows:-
1.NACE
2.Select the apllication
3.Output types (press tab).
4.again selet the output type which u require
5.then press "procedure routines"
here u can give the program name and fom name.

Two ALV's in single report without Using Containers

Hi All,
I have a requirement to show two ALV reports in a single report and the thing is I am not supposed to use Containers(Screen Painter). and OOPS concepts.
Is there a way we can achieve this?

Different layouts in one single report

Hi,
My report consists of 6 different spreasheets, 2 has Landscape layout and 4 has Portrait layout.. so i m trying to create 2 portrait in Header section, 2 Landscapes in Main section, and 2 portrait again in the trailer section.. i have six diff queries for six sheets.. i created one Lanscape in main section with the matrix query.. i m trying to create 1 portrait in trailer section (tabular ) ..... but when i finish this tabular and try to run it, it changes the layout for matrix report in the MAIN section ???? does it overwrite the original layout, which was set for diff query ?
How to solve this ???? I tried with report block as well...

Hi,
bring your two different layouts in seperate frames and write format triggers on this frames to show or suppress them (depending on your input). Connect the two frames with an collabsing anchor.

Avoid two output displays in single report

Hi,
The requirement is that the report should have a check box called "Print Report" in the selection screen. If the box is not checked the report displays the output in ALV Grid format. If the checkbox is set, the output should be spooled to the printed and the output screen appears (ALV Grid).
How can i do the printing without the dialog box that appears using smart forms..??

Two layouts in one report

I have a requirement where I have two queries giving two different outputs, I want these two in one single report with two layouts, I was able to achieve this with Concatenate option and there by build by RTF templates based on the Groups of each query, The problem I found is the performance because everytime view is hit by choosing the required report layout both the queries are running and ther by affecting performance, Is there anyway that when I choose the layout only the query related to that layout is run and other when I choose the other layout?

Thanks for your response!
I am not using my "back button".
Clicking the report first time in a session (or viewing the report after modifying it) opens "html" and next time onwards it opens last selected template layout and output format. I am not sure whether this is a bug or intended behavior.

There are two transactions ZJPVCS303 and ZJPVCS303_US for one single Report

When run as a batch program, (currently this is the case), or withT-Code ZJPVCS303 the selection screen is unchanged (except for additional sales area above)
- When run as T-Code ZJPVCS303_UL (UL stands for Upload) the selection screen is changed. The unix file option is no longer available, and the user is able to upload a local file (in the same format as the current unix file, but tab delimited) to the program for processing.
Requirements:
There are two transactions ZJPVCS303 and ZJPVCS303_US for one single Report.
->When ZJPVCS303 Transaction is executed, the file is uploaded from the Application
server to SAP R/3. The selection screen parameters would be:

->When ZJPVCS303_US Transaction is executed, the file is uploaded from the Presentation Server

How should i use the two results sets in one single report data region?

Here my given data set query gives you the two result sets ,so how should i use that two result sets information in single report....when i accessing that data set query it will take the values off the first result set not for the second result set.
without using sub report and look up functionality..... if possible
is there any way to achieve this.....Please let me know..

You cant get both resultsets in SSRS. SSRS dataset will only take the first resultset
you need to either create them as separate queries or merge them into a single resultset and return with ad additional hardcoded field which indicates resultset (ie resultset1,resultset2 etc)
Then inside SSRS report you can filter on the field to fetch individual resultsets at required places. While merging you need to make sure metadata of two resultsets are made consistent ie number of columns and correcponding column data types should be same.
In absence of required number of columns just put some placeholders using NULL

Two Layouts in single smartform

Hi all,
i have two layouts but it should be implemented in single smartform, iam getting problem with the main window size.
based on the flag i used to decide to display layout 1 or layout 2.
some secondary windows are displayed or not displayed based on the flag, but problem with the main window it overlaps with the secondary windows, how to control the size of main window.
Points wl be rewarded...

I think the only way is to create two tables in the main window for the two layouts with different dimensions. I hope by this way you can control the extent of overlap.

Single Report for production scrap and Movement type 551 scrap

Hi All,
Can we include the scrap information from production and scrap from movement type 551 into a single BW report?.......My assumption is we cannot include it into a single report coz production scrap will have a different material information and scrap from movement type 551 will have a different material information..please correct me ig i am wrong......

hello,
you can have a single report by two options
1. have a variable on movement type.If you choose 551..U will get materials of tht movt type.
also if the select teh movt type for prodcution, it wil display its materials.
or
2. U have to place movt type in the rows.Place movt type and then material in the rows.
Then u will get for each movt type..its corresponding materials.No variable selection needed here.

WS-SDK Scheduling two instances of the same report with different params

I'm using the web services SDK for Business Objects XI 3.1 SP 2 to schedule reports. I've got it so that I can successful schedule a report with prompts, setting the value for the prompt and running the report.
However, I'm now trying to schedule two instances of the same report using a single call to BIPlatform.Schedule. It creates the correct number of new instances, the last of which is completely correct. The first one (and in fact if I do more than two all the rest except the last) lose the parameter value from the prompt and the schedule information and the type. So for example if I schedule two instances, both PDF, both for 8am tomorrow with parameters of 1 and 2, I get:
A Webi instance, scheduled to run immediately with no parameters specified and
A PDF instance, scheduled for 8am tomorrow with parameter 2
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Can you possibly post your code here that sets params and schedules? Also as you schedule 2 instances on a single report in a sinlgle biplatform.schedule call(): as you query for InfoObject what you actually query for a single report isn't it, or do you schedule a report template and reschdule it previous instance?

Please check the tcode RSUSR200. It will give you the details of last login of user.
For workitem status just pass the work item ID to table SWWWIHEAD and it will give you the status.
