Two movies i purchased are no longer on my itunes but i can see them in my purchase history. How can i get them back?

I purchased two movies for my iphone 4. I sold the iphone 4 but i still had the movies on my itunes. Recently i had to reset my itunes password and when i did all my itunes library was gone. I can see everything in my purchase history but i cant seem to get it back and i have just bought a new ipad i wanted the movies for that.

Have you tried ITunes Menu Bar/Store/Check for Available Downloads
From your iPad try Videos/Store/Purchased/Movies/Not on this iPad/Select the iCloud button to begin download

The music should still be in her iTunes Library - the one she uses to put music on the Shuffle. Simply connect the new iPod to that iTunes library, make the choices she wants for syncing the music to the iPod (which I guess, may now include putting all her music onto the iPod, since it has more storage capacity) and press Sync.
Future Syncs with that Library will cause any changes of the Library to be copied to the iPod. Note that music is (or should be) copied to the iPod, not moved. There are two reasons for having the music in the Library:
makes it easier to put the music onto a newer iPod, such as now;
if or when the iPod needs a Restore, which will delete everything from the iPod, you will need to copy "the Library" back onto the same iPod.

If it's not available in your country and you do not have a copy of it in iTunes backed up on your computer, you don't.

It sounds like you have purchased a couple of new songs, but they aren't in your iPod Nano, nor in your iTunes library. You should be able to download them with this article:

Click iTunes Store near the top of the iTunes window.
Click the Purchased link at the right of the iTunes Store homepage (below Quick Links).
In the page that appears, select a category.iTunes shows you which of your purchases are available for download. You can view all of your past purchases, or just the ones not currently in your iTunes library. Items already in your library aren’t available for download.If you select Music, you can view your purchases by song, artist, or album. If you’re viewing by album, click an album to see which songs on it are available for downloading.To search for an item, type its name or a keyword in the search field, and then press the Return key to view your search results.
To download an item, click its Download button .To download all available items, click Download All.
Then they should sync over to your iPod as you are expecting.

i bought an album on Christmas day and have had it since, went on iTunes to listen to it and it was gone, went into purchase history to re-download it and it was gone from there, how do i get it back as it cost me £10.99 and i don't want to have to re-buy it.

You are logged in with the same account that you bought it with it, you haven't moved countries, and it's still in the store ? If you've moved countries or the rights-holder has removed it from the store then you won't be able to redownload it - do you have a copy of it on your backup of your downloads/library ?
If you haven't moved countries and it's still in the store but it's not showing in the Purchased link for redownloading then check to see if you've hidden it from there : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.
