Two tax rates in VF01 screen

Dear friends,
Can anyone help me on the issue below?
There will be 2 tax rate. One of them is:%1 and another:%17.
In the VF01 screen, there will be 2 two tax rates.
If Invoice amount:100$
TAX1: %1=1$
TAX2:%17:17$
and these tax amounts will go different accounts..
Is it possible?
Thanks in advance...

You can achievev this by maintaining to Different TAX Account Keys in Your Pricing Procedure.
Say,
ZTX1 - TAX1- ZT1
ZTX2 -TAX2 - ZT2
Maintain one Tax code, say, V0 for output tax code for them.
Accordingly, in VK11 maintain condition record for the tax condtion type
ZTX1 - TAX1- 1% - V0
ZTX2 -TAX2 - 17 % - V0
To maintain different account key used Tcode OBCN
Different GL can be assisted to these Account keys ZT1 & ZT2 by using Tcode OB40.
Use Tcode FTXP for maintaining Output Tax Tax Code.

  • Tax Rate Determination

    Hi All,
I need to determine the Tax Rate in my program. I have the Tax code, Tax Jursidicion Code, Company Code, Tax Procedure and the Country available to me in my program.
Is there a function module/modules that I can use to arrive at the tax rate using the above fields.
I could find out the following function modules which could give me the tax rate however there is an issue when I use these.
FI_TAX_GET_CONDITION_TYPES -- I use this function module to get the value for KSCHL
FI_TAX_GET_KTOSL_FROM_KSCHL -- I use this function module to get the value for KTOSL
FI_TAX_GET_CONDITION -- I pass KSCHL and KTOSL along with other information to this function
module to get the tax rate (KBETR).
The issue with the first function module is that it can return multiple condition types for a give tax code and tax jurisdiction code in which case there is no way to find out which one to use (or atleast I am not aware of it).
Please let me know know if there is any other function module or any way to fix this issue.
Will greatly appreciate any solution to this problem.
      Thanks for  all your time.

There must be some way of matching each tax code to single rate.  What happens in your MIRO when all they can enter is a tax code for which it must be able to get a single rate?  Running ST05 trace against MIRO might give you some clues.
The FMs mentioned all work for me here to get a single rate, and if they don't do the same for you I guess you'll need to talk to your functional consultants to get some more information on how the tax codes have been set up.

  • Two different tax rates in same tax code

    hi,
I have a client requirement as follows. A tax code is created for 12.5% cenvat. This tax code  is used by one company. Now the same tax code will be used by second company but in some of their transactions they want 5% cenvat and balance 7.5% to be transferred to inventory.
Can such a config be done with same tax code with condition types or something? PLZ help in this issue. FYI  the client does not wants a separate tax code to be created as volume of transactions with 5% tax rate is very less.
    thanks and reagdrs

Unfortunately, same tax code can't be used with different rates. In your situation, it's inevitable to create another tax code.

  • Tax rate is not appearing automatically in Condition Type of PO

    Hi,
input tax is configured and acessed to condition type. In PO if we put the tax % in Tax code . The input tax is generated and adjusted against the vendor. but i want the exact % is to be appeared in the condition type maintained. as because the print preview of PO is not showing any tax amount. If we put the tax rate manually then it is  showing. how can i resolve the above issues.

    Satyajit,
    As per you reply message,
    - You have maintained tax code X5 for MWVS.
    - Simultaneously maintained condition record.
    - The intention of above two activities are same. First one is formula based to determines tax in PO>Invoice tab> taxes. Second one also determines tax through condition record.
However you are asking tax as PO conditon. That means a manual tax condition. Is it right?
For getting condition rate determination in pricing, you have to maintain condition record for pricing condition type.
Please revert back with more details to better understand.

  • Extended Withholding Tax Rate change at invoice Level

    Hello Every One
We are implementing Extended Witholding TAx in US.
    How can i achieve Below
    Requirement 1:
At the time of invoice the business want to override the Tax rate, but i am not sure how it will happen since tax rate % is defined in tax codes and tax codes are assigned in the vendor master?  The reason for this is that if one vendor has existence in two different countries  then our company will with held tax at different rate.
My Solution: I will define one tax code with 100% rate and then if the that vendor has to be deducted at 30% rate. Then in the vendor master in the exemption % field they can put 70%, so at the time of invoice it will be calculated 30%, but the draw back of this is that it has to be maintained by the master data team  and the invoice clerk cannot do it right away if the requirement gets changed. (if someone has other than this please let me know)
    Requirement 2:
How we can with hold tax at line item level, is it possible?
for example if we receive an invoice from a vendor for 2000$. Out of 2000$ $1200 is belong to service which is taxable and 800$ is belong Material which is not taxable.
    Requirement 3.
What will be the configuration setups of with holding tax account in FS03

  • CST% should calculated two different rate for C Form /  Without C Form

    Hi,
How we can assign to one CST% condition against two different rates for C Form / Without C Form for same Plant/Vendor/Material.
My scenario is, we have purchased the Material for one plant from Vendor, but Vendor has given the material against C Form or Without C Form not fixed.
We have used to Plant/Material/Vendor Key combination for updating CST (JVCS) 2% condition through FV11. And created two PO for C Form 2% & second 5% Without C Form but it is showing 2% in both PO as per maintained in condition.
When we have received the material against without C Form 5%, changed in CST (JVCS) condition 5% and do the MIGO and same think do for against C Form.
How to resolve this type problem without changing?
But it is possible in SD their maintaining Price Group; same is it possible in MM.
    Devendra

    Hi,
1 .How we can assign to one CST% condition against two different rates for C Form / Without C Form for same Plant/Vendor/Material.
As suggested by the Pankaj you need to create 2 tax code i.e. one with C form & other as Without C form having appropriate Percentage maintained in the condition record ( FV11 )
As you may have maintained single tax code with the 2% condition record so same % flows in both PO , Use 2 sperate tax code it will resolve the issue.

    please check the screen shot

    Hello Sachin,
Tax rate determination in PO is based on the PO document date and not on the price date.
You can test this, during PO creation, first you keep PO document date as '07.04.2015', system will show tax percentage as 12.36. Now, you change the PO document date to '22.04.2015', system will show tax percentage as 14.

  • Error in tax rate

    Hi everyone,
I am facing a problem in tax on sales. For our client there are 2 types of CST tax rate for the customer: 4% and 1%(C Form).Accordingly 2 different tax codes are maintained for it.Now even after maintaining the different tax slabs in the customer master, during sales processing only the CST tax rate of 4 % is coming in the pricing. Its not picking the 1%(C Form) rate in the pricing. Can anyone please help me out from this situation? Its really very urgent.
    Regards
    Subhash

    Dear subash,
You need to do two things,
I assume that the customer is same ,
then go to sales order , header -- billing --   alt tax classification-1 , put 1 and maintain the tax code for 4 % in VK11 aginst UTXJ at the verty first level with the 4% tax code.
and the same thing ,sales order , header -- billing -- alt tax classification-1 , put 2 and maintain the tax code for 1 % in VK11 aginst UTXJ at the verty first level with the 1% tax code.
In both the cases , customer tax classification is changing , hence system will pickup the correct one .
If customer is different , maintain the same in customer master - billing - UTXJ field instead of mainatining in the sales order.
    Just try.

  • Tax Rate Determination in Credit Memos With Ref to Invoices

The requirement in US is that when the customer has changed his address to a different region, from that where the services was supplied (The region in which the customer (ship-to party) was residing when the invoice was raised) and if a credit memo is raised with reference to this invoice, then the taxes applicable on the credit memo for this customer should be the rates applicable for the state where the original invoice was raised. However currently in SAP the new customer address is updated in the billing document (invoice that was raised for the region where the customer had his place of business previously) and hence the original region code in the invoice will not be available and will be overridden with new region code.
    Consider the following example:
1 - Invoice raised on 01-Jan-2010 to a customer whose region is Florida and tax rate is "X %"
2 - On 01-Feb-2010 the customer in Florida changes his place of business to Texas region.
3 - On 01-March-2010 a credit memo is raised with reference to the invoice dated 01-Jan-2010 u2013 On this credit memo the tax rate applicable will be of the region of Texas u2013 Example u201CY%u201D
The requirement is that in the credit memo the system should capture the original region code or there should be a provision to change the region code of the customer (ship-to party) at line item level u2013 so that the tax determined is applicable to the region where the customeru2019s place of business originally existed.
From our side we did check the SAP screen for Creation of contract/Order (VA41/VA01) u2013 However we were unable to find the customer region field in these screens at line item level.
We request you to please look into this at the earliest and let us know what the options that exist for this are.
Please also let us know should you require any clarifications with reference to the above requirement.
    Regards
    Siddharth Sridhar

    Hi Siddharth,
As for the region code that you mentioned, in fact yes, you can change during transaction creation, and Region is coming from the customer master record that you maintained.
You can find it at the Item level --> Partners, but you will not be able to change the Region there.
To change it, double click on the Sold-to Party at Header level, then select Sold-to Party --> Details.. Here you can change the Region accordingly.  It will reflect accordingly at the Item level --> Partners.
Note: This change will not change the central master data maintained for this customer. It will only affect this document.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

  • MIRO - One line and two Tax codes

    Hello dear all,
If I have a reception (MIGO), one line item.
But in the supplier invoice this line has two tax codes. How can we post it in MIRO, what can be the process ?
Is anyone had similar case ?
    Regards

please, check the note 395973 where it is explained in point 2:
" If I want to use a different tax code in Transaction MIRO, what
      should I do?
In the invoice verification, the tax is calculated based on the
items in the entered invoice. If you want to set a different tax
code, you must make this change in the item list. You can also use
the tax tab page in the header area of the invoice, particularly
when there are several tax codes in the document. If you enter a tax
code on the initial screen that does not exist in the item list, the
invoice cannot be posted (error FF812).This system response is
programmed as such and is intended this way.
For the default values in the input help for the tax code, refer to
    Note 336821. "
I hope this information can help you.

  • Excise tax rate problemin MM

    HI,
I have two queiries reg. taxtaion
1   If a material is of Domestic Purchase and Import purchase then how to maintain the Excise Tax Rate for that material.
    2.  During Capturing the excise sometime we are not able to pick the correct Base value, as it should come from Purchase order, also not able to get Tax rate and tax amount, as should be come from J1ID.
Please suggest me how to go abt that.
    Regards,
    Seenu

    Hi,
Which tax procedure are u using
U maintain conditions based on material/vdr/plant combination... For import purchase ur vendor is going to be different. Hence your purchasing will not get affected.
The excise values will be captured while capturing excise invoice which are maintained in FV11 & also the same values come in PO. Check if PO is correct. The base value will be taken from PO. Although we can change the same while capturing excise invopice as per correct excise copy we receive from vendor

  • EBusiness Tax in AP - Limit tax rate selection by legal entity

We have several Legal entities in United Kingdom. All these entities have separate balancing segments (3278, 3342, 3236, etc.), and all these entities are used in one Operating Unit WU_GBP_OU in AP.
Since all these entities are in UK, we have only one Regime, Tax, Status and Jurisdiction (all of them are being named UNITED KINGDOM (GB) VAT). Tax Rates are created for every legal entity, since accounting is taken from Tax Rates and different balancing segment value should be used.
This setup is working fine for us, except one thing – users can see a full list of Tax rates in the AP Invoice Tax Details screen. Sometimes they select incorrect tax rates (assigned to a different entity) and this leads to fixing the data later on.
Question – How this list could be limited to display only tax rates that are tied to specific legal entity. There is a field on the invoice header called Legal entity, but since the subscription is done at Tax Regime level, I was not able to limit which Tax Rates should be displayed.

    Hi Gurus,
I reviewed Notes in Metalink, so my understanding as follow.
Legal entity maintenance should be as legal registration wise.
Ex:- we have registered mfg unit in Newyork so we need to create 1 LE for Newyork, and same sector we registered in Chicago we should have another LE in Chicago vis versa.
Note:- when i post this query my intention was juridiction code , but juridiction code will not restrict our Tax setup(Types of taxes), this is what i understand after gone through the manuals.
If my understanding is wrong, please correct me.

  • Table of tax rate percent from FTXP

Can any one tell the table name to find Tax Rate Percent, to post the same Tcode is FTXP.

    Hi,
Tax codes have to be manually exported from source client (DEV) and then imported into the target clients (QA, PRD).
Please read OSS note 605537 and F1 help below for further information.
Important note on transporting tax codes -> F1
    Message no. F4794
    Diagnosis
Transporting tax codes requires manual postprocessing. This postprocessing is also necessary if tax codes have to be transported from one client to another within the system.
    Procedure
When tax codes are transported, only the tax rates of the tax codes are transported.
The transport of tax codes between systems or clients is carried out in two steps:
    1. step:
Export of tax codes from the source system or source client
    2. step:
Import of tax codes into the target system or target client
    Export
    1. In Customizing for Financial Accounting Global Settings in the source system or client, select Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Calculation -> Define Tax Codes for Sales and Purchases.
    2. Select Tax code -> Transport -> Export.
    3. Assign the export to the corresponding transport order, and note the order number.
    4. Select and save the tax codes to be transported.
    5. Make sure that the tax codes selected are marked with the transport number in table T007V.
To check the table, in the SAP menu, select Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Overview -> Data Browser.
Enter the table name. The tax codes are in field MWSKZ and the tax jurisdiction codes are in fields TXJCD.
    6. Carry out the transport into the target system.
To do this, in the SAP menu, select Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Overview -> Workbench Organizer -> Environment -> Customizing Organizer.
    Import
    1. Make sure that the tax codes to be transported are selected in table T007V in the target system or target client.
    2. In Customizing for Financial Accounting Global Setting in the source system or client, select Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Calculation -> Define Tax Codes for Sales and Purchases.
    3. Create the tax codes that do not already exist in the target system.
Create them complete, but without tax percentage rates.
If you set internal systems in company codes in the USA or Canada, the corresponding tax jurisdiction codes should also exist. You can make the settings for these in Customizing for Financial Accounting Global Settings under Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Define Tax Jurisdiction Codes.
    4. Select Tax code -> Transport -> Import.
    5. Check the proposed values for the transport order and country.
    6. Carry out the import.
Notes for the transport of tax accounts
When you transport tax codes between different systems or clients, no tax accounts are transported.
Adjust the tax accounts in the source and target system (or source and target client) manually.
    Rewrad If helpfull,
    Naresh.
