UCCX7 Crystal Report - Traffic Analysis

I have a question about Crystal Report.
Can I have the separate report of Traffic Analysis for one CSQ from several CSQs using Crystal Report?
Regards,

Hello Seon,
you can create custom reports by using Cristal reports, here are the guides that explains how to do it:

  • UCCX 8.5 - Historical Reports - Traffic Analysis report and Application Performance Analysis report different calls presented

    Hi,
    Please Advice.
When I compare Traffic Analysis report and Application report, Calls presented are not same. Please Help !
    Also attached herwith the reports

    Mohammed,
It is common, in many of the Cisco Express 8.5 environments we have looked at, for the Total Incoming Calls given on a Traffic Analysis report to be a higher number than an Application Report.
The Traffic Analysis Report counts every unique sessionID (unique call) that is inbound (contact type of 1).  The Application Reports do a similar thing but qualify (filter) only the records that have an application assigned.
There are simply times where inbound calls have been directed to an "agent" without having an applicaiton assigned.
The best thing the reporting user can do is to run a query on his or her database such as:
         select * from ContactCallDetail where contactType=1and startDateTime > '2012-11-16 10:00:00' and startDateTime < '2012-11-16 11:00:00';
Usually when an application is not assigned to the record in the ContactCallDetail table it is because the destination type is equal to 1, which is an 'Agent' instead of a 'route point'.
So if you modify your select statement to filter by destinationType, you can quickly find the records that don't have the application assigned.
    Example:  select * from ContactCallDetail where contactType = 1 and destinationType = 1 and startDateTime > '2012-11-16 10:00:00 and startDateTime < 2012-11-16 11:00:00';
    When you look at these records, you will see the agent that took the call from the destinationID field.  The number in that field should match up with the field called 'resourceID' in a table called 'resouce';
Example:  select * from resource where resouce=6011; where 6011 was the number you found in the destinationID field.
If there is still confusion about the source of the call - then talk to that agent and find out what is was.
Good Luck and let me know if you need further help.

    Hi Neetu,
Do you wish that at all customer site all concern involved in implemtation do the same work ?
I believe ERP is meant for single entry system, and it should be true for implementation also, why to invest man hours for the same task ?
I expect it standard reports should be released by SAP, so that speed of implementation improve, we have more nos. of satisfied customers.
customised reports is all together different and it is understood that it is needed to be developed after study the exact requirement.

  • Crystal report from SAP infoset query

    Hi All,
I am facing a problem in a crystal report which is based on Infoset query. When I run the report after passing the parameters it gives me an error "Database error occured" "Parameter field value does not exists" "RFC Closed"
But if I run the same Infoset query from SQ01 I am able to run it with same paramenter and it returns many records.
To be very precise I am running the best practice crystal report "Cost Analysis - Planned vs. Actual Order Costs" which is based on infoset query CO_OM_CA_20_Q1.
It throws me error that "Controlling Area does not exists".
    Did anyone faced similar problem?
    Best Regards,
    Chetan

    Hi,
log into your SAP ERP system using the SAP GUI and choose in the SAP Menu the following path:
SAP Menu -> Accounting -> Controlling -> Cost Cetner Controlling ->Environment->Set Controlling Area.
Set the desired controlling area for your user there (DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK ON THE DISKETTE ICON) and try again.

  • Traffic analysis report by team / CSQ

    Hi Everybody,
Is it possible to show the Traffic analysis report by team / CSQ?
Because I cannot find any param or filter in this report type.
Or I have to use other report type?
    Thanks in advance
    Sam

    Hi Sam
It's possible, certainly - however it would involve creating a custom version of the report.
    This would include:
    - Developing a customised SQL stored procedure to generate the statistics
    - Creating a new Crystal Reports template (for HRC) or CUIC Template for the report in CUIC Premium, and exporting that to UCCX.
Do you have suitable skills in house or a Cisco Partner you can use for this sort of work?

  • Crystal Report not showing details when analysis authorizations are used

We have a crystal report that is filter by company code. Analysis authorizations have been created for each company code as well as one for all (* access). In bex the report runs fine with the analysis authorizations. In crystal if the test user has the * analysis authorization the report runs correctly. If the test user has a specific company code the details section of the report does not display

I may be a little slow here but if the user does not have the access he should not be able to see the details or am I missing something here?

  • UCCX 8.5.1 SU2 traffic analysis report errors out

Anyone run into this before, I'm not seeing a bug fixed for this issue in SU3 either.
If we have a call center outage or some issue effecting services, one day a month, and try to run the IVR traffic analysis report for the whole month (where one day we had outage) the report for that timeframe fails to run. If we adjust the report begin/end time to end before problem day/hour the report runs fine. Same for after that time to end of the month. We can also run the report for the single day of outage (whole 24 hour period) without problem to which is strange.
Regarding the outage, it is where UCCX services stop for some reason. This is HA WAN setup. The systems were not powered down or shutdown unexpectedly.
Seems it is choking on the data and trying to divde by zero....

  • Creating OLAP report with Crystal Reports and SQL Server Analysis Services 2005

    Post Author: orahc_mao
CA Forum: Data Connectivity and SQL
    Hi!
I am currently using the trial version of the Crystal Reports XI and I wanted to do an OLAP report. The problem is I cannot select a cube using "OLAP Connection Browser" (the popup window). I already selected Microsoft OLE DB Provider and entered the server name but still can't connect.
I don't think the problem is with SQL Server Analysis Services (2005) since Microsoft Excel - Import Data can detect the server as well as the cube I have created.
I also tried the "Database Expert" of Crystal Reports, created an OLE DB (ADO) connection with "OLE DB Provider for OLAP Services 8.0" driver, entered the server name, checked the integrated security and then I can readily select the database created at SQL Server Analysis Services. However, I still need the OLAP grid create the report but it goes back to my original problem... selecting a cube.
I hope somebody would help me with this issue.
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello,
I don't recognize those variables as CR ones so it's likely something the original developer is setting in code.
You'll have to discuss with that person.
If your have SDK issues then post your question to one of the .NET or Java SDK forums.
    Thank you

  • Crystal Report Enterprise 4.0 reports on SAP BW 7.1 Qry with Analysis Auth.

    hello everyone,
We have created a crystal report using CR Enterprise 4.0 using a connection published (SSO enabled) in BOE repoitory on a SAP BW 7.0 EHP1 SP6 query. The underlying query has Analysis Authorization at place and variables are processed by authorization. We have also enabled SSO between BOE and BW server.
But when execute the report in BI Launch Pad, we get the following error
{bold} The viewer could not process the event.Failed to execute the query: '<java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: NO SelectionStateSupport! V8>' .Redesign your query or contact your data source maintainer to solve the problem [JRC00005372]
    Error Code: 0 [CRWEB00000119] {bold}
'V8' is technical name of variable on characterstic with authorization processing.
*We have given the rights of the connection to the users.
*We get the same error either we login using BOE Authentication or SAP Authentication.
*Web Intelligence reports on simillar query are working properly in the above mentioned scenario.
    thanks and regards
    Sushant Jain

    Hi Don,
    Thanks for your reply.
This is regarding CR Enterprise 4.0.
We have not re-imported the BI 4.0 transport files in our BW server, instead the older ones (of XI 3.1) are residing on BW server. But if I'm right then I think transports are relevant only while working with CR Designer 2008/2011 and not with CR Enterprise.
    Hi Ingo,
    Thanks for your reply.
-Yes, query is working perfectly fine in RSRT showing the data as per the respective User Authorizations on respective InfoObjects' values.
-Yes, the InfoObjects are restrcied by the means of Variabvle (with 'Authorization' Processing type, 'Varaible ready for input' unchecked, 'Optional' Variable) and are put in Characteristic Restriction area.

  • Sample crystal report of Sales Analysis

I would like to summary sales amount by month and group by sales employee. It's the same amount as 'Sales Analysis' report on B1 standard. If anyone have ever created, please guide me or give me some sample of crystal report file. I have to use it urgently but I still have no idea to write it.
    Thanks you very much.

  • Crystal Reports Template : Data for Cash-Flow Analysis

    Dear Experts,
We are working on cash flow forecasting model, i.e going forward 12 months, which in written in MS Excel. We update it with actual data recorded in SAP B1 (Ver 8.8 PL18)  A manual process.
Was wondering if we can get a crystal report template which contain the following data:
Sales, Purchases, Collections and Payments by BP in a given time (user specified)
    BP Code
    BP Name
    Sales Invoice #
    Sales Invoice Date
    Sales Invoice Value (total)
    Sales Credit Memo #
    Sales Credit Memo Date
    Sales Credit Value (total)
    Purchase Invoice #
    Purchase Invoice Date
    Purchase Invoice Value (total)
    Purchase Credit Memo #
    Purchase Credit Memo Date
    Purchase Credit Value (total)
    BP Receipt #
    BP Receipt Date
    BP Receipt Value
    BP Payment  #
    BP Payment Date
    BP Payment Value
Thank you to all who have answered this question posted earlier under queries, I am hoping we can get a combined report using CR, a feat not possible using SAP B1 Query function. I look forward to your advice.
    Regards
    Raj

    Hi,
I am not familiar with crystal report. But using queries (that already answered) you can create crystal report.
You can also refer how to guide for creating crystal report in sap b1.

  • Performance Issue Crystal Report and Oracle

    Hello,
We have one procedure that takes 3 input parameters and returns Cursor from Procedure that is used to design the report. There is no caluculation involved here and cursor is opended dynamically. We are using Oracle Native connection.
When we click on preview button it takes lots of time ( >10 Mins) to show complete data. While we call the same procedure in application and generate HTML report using Cursor returned it is done in < 15 Seconds. Can some point me where to look into to improve the performance of Crystal Report.
    DB: Oracle 10G
    CR: Version XI

    Hi Vadiraja
The performance of a report is related to:
    External factors:
    1. The amount of time the database server takes to process the SQL query.
( Crystal Reports send the SQL query to the database, the database process it, and returns the data set to Crystal Reports. )
    2. Network traffics.
    3. Local computer processor speed.
( When Crystal Reports receives the data set, it generates a temp file to further filter the data when necessary, as well as to group, sort, process formulas, ... )
    4. The number of record returned
( If a sql query returns a large number of records, it will take longer to format and display than if was returning a smaller data set.)
    Report design:
    1. Where is the Record Selection evaluated.
Ensure your Record Selection Formula can be translated in SQL, so the data can be filter down on the server, otherwise the filtering will be done in a temp file on the local machine which will be much slower.
They have many functions that cannot be translated in SQL because they may not have a standard SQL for it.
For example, control structure like IF THEN ELSE cannot be translated into SQL. It will always be evaluated in Crystal Reports. But if you use an IF THEN ELSE on a parameter, it will convert the result of the condition to SQL, but as soon as uses database fileds in the conditions it will not be translated in SQL.
    2. How many subreports the report contains and in section section they are located.
Minimise the number of subreports used, or avoid using subreports if possible because
subreports are reports within a report, and if you have a subreport in a details section, and the report returns 100 records, the subreport will be evaluated 100 times, so it will query the database 100 times. It is often the biggest factor why a report takes a long time to preview.
    3. How many records will be returned to the report.
Large number of records will slow down the preview of the reports.
Ensure you only returns the necessary data on the report, by creating a Record Selection Formula, or basing your report off a Stored Procedure, or a Command Object that only returns the desired data set.
    4. Do you use the special field "Page N of M", or "TotalPageCount"
When the special field "Page N of M" or "TotalPageCount" is used on a report, it will have to generate each page of the report before it displays the first page, therfore it will take more time to display the first page of the report.
If you want to improve the speed of a report, remove the special field "Page N of M" or "Total Page Count" or formula that uses the function "TotalPageCount". If those aren't use when you view a report it only format the page requested.
It won't format the whole report.
    5. Link tables on indexed fields whenever possible.
    6. Remove unused tables, unused formulas, unused running totals from the report.
    7. Suppress unnecessary sections.
    8. For summaries, use conditional formulas instead of running totals when possible.
    9. Whenever possible, limit records through selection, not suppression.
    10. Use SQL expressions to convert fields to be used in record selection instead of using formula functions.
For example, if you need to concatenate 2 fields together, instead of doing it in a formula, you can create a SQL Expression Field. It will concatenate the fields on the database server, instead of doing in Crystal Reports. SQL Expression Fields are added to the SELECT clause of the SQL Query send to the database.
    11. Using one command as the datasource can be faster if you returns only the desired data set.
It can be faster if the SQL query written only return the desired data.
    12. Perform grouping on server
This is only relevant if you only need to return the summary to your report but not the details. It will be faster as less data will be returned to the reports.
    Regards

  • Crystal Report with BW queries

    Hi,
Whether any special rules needs to be followed when designing BW
Queries (Both Normal and MDX) for crystal report.  I have a MDX query
which is returning sales and forecast value for rolling six months.
When we are running the query through BEx analyser I am getting all
the six months with Nulls when there is no sales for a given month.
But when I am invoking the same query through crystal I am getting
only the rows which has values and I am not getting any rows with
NULLS for key figures.  Its disturbing my design of the report.
I have very little knowledge in BW side.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Subbu S.

    Hi,
In BW, you can show or hide 0 columns or rows based on your requirement.
I think you want to see 0 columns/rows also in CR side.
If you are using Crosstab for your report, did you try to uncheck 'Suppress Empty Rows/Columns' (from Crosstab Expert-->Customize Style  menu)
    Regards

  • Crystal Report Layout asking for Login Info

I have modified the Delivery Note Crystal Report Layout for Business One by clicking the Edit button on the Report and Layout Manager for Delivery Note (Items).  I then saved my modifications to a file.  Finally, I go into Business One and import the Layout for Delivery Note (Items).  When I preview the Layout it asks me for login information then continues to fail.  How dow I make it so I can print the Delivery without having to constantly log in?

    Hi Jeff,
I recently had a similar problem on an 8.82 implementation, having contacted and spoken to SAP Support multiple times these suggested fixes worked:
The request to login to the database when you open or print preview a Crystal
report is a known issue. To resolve this, I recommend you go through our Root
Cause Analysis (RCA) guide. Please see attac hed Note 1676353 on where to find
this. There are four Cases in this guide (which contain a number of Influences)
    - please go through all Cases and Influences.
    We also tried the following:
    STEP 1:
Influence 2: Case 2 is to clear all the data for login (e.g. sa and
password - delete them) and then ticked 'Integrated Security#.
    - Influence
3: #: Check the current datasource is to update connection.
    - Retest opening
the system reports on a workstation.
    - If they are still reporting an error
    try the next step
    - STEP 2:
    - Change the datasource location of
the report from OLE DB to SAP Business One type and leave the
    authentication
information blank. Try running the report in Crystal, and then import to SAP.
And also opened up the Crystal Report via the Edit button in SAP in Reports and Layouts Manager, we then clicked on the database connection and updated all the tables (even though they were the same) and these got the reports needed working. Speaking to SAP it is a known bug and they are releasing a hotfix to resolve it, but try explaining that to a customer !!!
    Hope these help.

  • Crystal Report throws Unexpected Database Connector error

    Hi,<br>
    <br>
We are using Crystal report 2008 CR4E API to implement the crystal report in our application. We use the below code to reset the report data source with our application data source. It works fine for most of the simple queries. But if the query contains any function defined in the SELECT Clause it throws Unexpected Database Connector error. i'm also getting the same error when i'm trying to call stored procedure (that will fetch the result set and populate the report) through the query in the report-viewer.jsp. The result set is fetched i.e. when i print the result set it shows on tomcat but it is not getting passed to Table object to populate the report. However when i try to give the query explicitly in the form of SELECT statements, it works fine i.e. i can view the report in the browser. But giving query in the form of SELECT is a very naive way and is ok if u have too less reports not requiring too many joins, thats why i was using stored procedure. Any help would be appreciated.
