UIScrollBar not responding to mousewheel in browsers

Hi Folks,
I have a small issue where several different UI scroll bar components targeting their respective text fields are not responding to the mouse wheel in any browser. When i ctrl + enter and test in standalone it works just fine. In browsers, I can manually click the scroll bar and the text will move accordingly, but when I use the mouse wheel it only scrolls the site, not the text.
Is this a common issue? Perhaps a browser setting or do i need to add mouse wheel listeners specifically to each text field?
The URL in question is www.aloha-test.blueleafss.com specifically in the "Links" section.
Thank you for any help and suggestions!
Ken

My Main thread is blocking some where. I am not able to figure it out where the main thread is blocked?
I am not getting , if it is blocked it is resuming its execution after some time.
So, how can i check where my main thread is blocked ?
what could be the reason behind blocking main thread ?
Thanks.

  • How do I make Firefox stop crashing and giving "not responding" messages. I don't want to reset it because I've got lots of extensions. Other browsers work fine

Every few minutes it gives me a "not responding" message and/or it crashes. I've checked all my add-ons, they're all updated. I've tried accessing the same websites that crash on Firefox with other browsers and it works really well. I don't want to reset it as one of the troubleshooting solutions suggest because I'd rather change to another browser than having to re-install all my add-ons. Please, is there anything that can be done to fix this?

    Hello,
'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
    * You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
Also try to disable hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
    * [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
    * [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
    Thank you.

  • HTML / css not responding in browsers

When in Safari or Chrome, specific buttons in specific webpages will not respond to any clicks.
    For example:
    http://www.mixcloud.com/corenewsuploads/huxley-bbc-radio-1-essential-mix-2014-11 -15/
When I am on this page, the "Mixcloud, Categories, Upgrade" buttons DO work. However, the "signup, login, more" buttons DO NOT work. Nor does "play, follow, share, add, repost" and "like" work either.
    Second example:
    http://baauer.redbull.com
This video will not play. I have seen it being played on other people's computers: it's not a broken link.
I have tried restarting my computer. Last time I checked, I have no user plugins installed.
    Suggestions?

It's not responsive.  It's not optimized to work well in anything other than a desktop display.  iPhones and iPads use their built-in zoom out feature to make an ordinary web site "fit" in the display area which works well most of the time.  But it's not optimal.  The only way to make your site work well in all devices is to rebuild it with a Responsive Web Design approach.

  • How can I go back to Firefox 5, the 6 update is terrible, constantly get 'not responding' when navigating.

I want to know if I can go back to Firefox vs 5 until vs 7 comes out? I am constantly getting 'not responding' from the browser when navigating through tabs and sites. (ie. if on say facebook, after maybe writing a comment or viewing a picture, I'll click on a second picture or other comment and I have to wait for the browser to 'respond'. This happens on multiple sites and multiple tabs.
I thought it was my internet connection at first but after trying Chrome and explorer browsers I do not have this issue.
It is really irritating and annoying. I did not have this issue with vs 5.

Have you tried the steps at [http://www.roboform.com/support/faq/roboform-v7#faq_firefox http://www.roboform.com/support/faq/roboform-v7#faq_firefox] ?
Firefox 5 is not recommended for security reasons, but if you don't want 6.0 you can try 3.6.x: [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]

  • Images and image maps do not respond to events on Safari

    Hello everyone,
We have been experiencing issues with events not responding to images associated with image maps, on Safari browser. After the DOM is loaded with new image and corresponding image maps, events such as mouseover and click observing this divs do not respond or get triggered. DOM seems to be updated correctly but behaves differently (and it works correctly in all other browsers except Safari).
This behaviour is only noticed in Safari browser running both on Windows and Mac. (Tested on Safari Version 3.1.1 on running on Windows and Mac)
For you all to have a closer look at this issue, I have created a sample that has this problem, similar to one we experienced during one of our recent projects. Please click on the link below to get to the sample (I recommend you to try this either in Firefox or IE before you do on Safari)
    http://www.hivegroup.com/safari/test.html
    (In the above sample,
    - the javascript code initializes the DOM with image and image map
    - assigns two event listeners to the div containing this image and image map
    - when mouse pointer brought over the image, it shows the area id in the 'mobox' div
    - when clicked, DOM is updated with a new image and new corresponding image map, assigns new event listeners and should continue with the same kinda behaviour it did for the first image (but doesn't in Safari browser))
All inputs on this issue are welcome and greatly appreciated.
    Thanking you in advance.
    Regards,
    Shashi.

Let me explain what the pink area is. Like the first image that contains two white boxes, the pink area (as you call it) is a new image (containing four pink areas or boxes having an area id denoted to each) that imgDiv occupies after the 'click' event occurs.
Yep, i gathered that from seeing it work on firefox...
The point that I'm trying to make here is, there shouldn't be any difference in behaviour when imgDiv holds first image (two white boxes) or the second image (four pink boxes) that you get after we click on image or the third image (containing 6 boxes, multiple colors) which you won't be able to reach in safari browser.
well... I can reach them, but only via the blue space.
. We'll notice change in the red box displaying target id only when we mouse over a new area that is not currently being displayed in the red box.
except in webkit for safari 2, where thered bpx content sticks at whatever it was when the first image was clicked, unless mouse is moved to the 'all area', and then it sticks on imgdiv.
I completely understand what you see in safari 2. But are you saying there's some error in my script ? If so could you please point out and justify.
I dunno Shashi, just pointing out the errors that Safari 2 reports when I view your test page, in the hope it might help. I know little of javascript

  • Help! Adobe Reader XI "Not Responding" in Win7

Does anyone know how to fix my problem.  I am currently running Adobe Reader XI with Win 7.  It was working fine but something happened.  I don't think I installed any new updates but something must have happened automatically.
I have uninstalle and reinstalled - no fix
I have tested with various browsers - no fix
    I have updated adobe plug-in
    I have updated adobe flash
    I have updated adobe air
I am at a loss of what to do - I get work email with pdf's and I can open but as soon as that happens Reader gives me a message "not responding."
    Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you, I was able to open Reader by itself and disabled Protected Mode, now
it works.  I don't understand why but I am happy to be able to print docs from

  • Adobe Acrobat webpage Printing spins/"not responding" in FF 3.6 latest release - please fix it

FF 3.6 (latest) Print web page to Adobe Acrobat v.9.02 spins and not responding. Earlier version of FF was ok w/Acrobat. I have the Acrobat Plug-ins in FF 3.6. Annoying to see FF 3.6 not ready for prime-time as prior versions. How can I go-back to FF 3.5? Thank you.

Hi, sorry it took me so long to reply. I finally had some time to troubleshoot the issue, and fortunately I found what was wrong .
But first, I must say that I am deeply ashamed, and I apologize to for coming here and blaming Skype, because it turns out the fault is completely mine. The problem was that a while back, a tech buddy of mine sent me his Windows "hosts" files (the hosts file allows a simple way to block unwanted and dangerous websites, as well as advertisements from loading on your computer). Most of the time, I do pay attention when I compile my hosts file, but this time I assumed my buddy's list of blocked websites was reasonable.
Turns out, he had the following entries in there (without the quotation marks):
    "skypeassets.com"
    "secure.skypeassets.com"
That means, any web page that needed to access these was blocked from loading. As a result, this is what broke the Skype Credit page.
I attached a screenshot to show what the Buy Skype Credit page looks like when it is blocked, so that way, if anyone has this issue and wonders why it's not working, check your hosts file (found in "C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc").
The Buy Skype Credit page now seems to work fine in all of my browsers (Firefox 32, Firefox 24, Opera 12/11/10, and IE8 ). I also tested IE6 just for giggles, but it gives a "Page Cannot be Displayed" error. This is very common with IE6, though. I'm just stating this in case anyone is still running that dinosaur browser (please don't, it's not safe or compatible).
Thanks, and I hope this was somewhat helpful .

  • Managed Server is not responding

    Hi All,
I have an application (UCM 11g 11.1.1.5) running on WLS (10.3.5) like one Admin Server and 2 managed servers (UCM,IBR). Yesterday when i tried to access the application, its not responding. I am not getting error, waited for around 15 mints.I tried to open Admin console also, but it was also same as application. When i checked in backend using ps -ef|grep java, both servers are running. I tried in different browsers, no success. Then i killed the 2 servers from back end. After that, i am able to open Admin console. Restarted those 2 managed servers, got working.
Can you please tell me why this happened? i was not getting any error from front end. I checked particular server logs, i did not see any error.
Please let me any suggestion on this.
    Thanks,
    Manikandan

As I know, There is performance BUG in Weblogic 10.3.x versions, and there are around 3 patches to update to fix this.
if you can try by raising SR, it would be helpfull.
