UML and or ERD editor

Hello World!
I am considering to build a program from scratch. Basicaly it's an ERD or maybe a UML editor. I am concern about how to construct the drawing area - for example to display & resize 'shapes' and 'lines' interactively using the mouse, etc. Any advice please?

Actually U have to go through some open source softwares which are dedicated to draw such programs.
check out the Wikipedia dictionary for "Entity Relationship Diagram".
U can find a lot of programs at Sourceforge.net , with source code.
To support the size and shape problems.
Just make all the diagram using some specific coordinate numbers like x,y and relatively draw all diagram. Which will help u in customizing the size. For lines and other stuff I think u should keep track of everything then calculate the starting angle ending angle etc based on current status and position different of the same and targeted. Its not a difficult task at all.

HR Ad Hoc Query is the special version of InfoSet Query with the HR object selection.
You can find the system documentation here:

However I doubt the use of documentation of the query generator. So what is your concrete question?

The attached example may help.
After launching the editor, I locate a reference to the front panel control named "Tag List".
This is type cast as a multicolumn list box which then allows me to increment through all of the cells and set the widths as i go.

You know that you lost the layers when you saved it as a jpeg, right? But you're saying you can't add layers to the jpeg now when it's open in the editor? Go to Image>mode and be sure it's RGB, for starters. Are all the commands in the Layer menu grayed out?

I followed very carefully your instructions for installing the new beta2 profiles and deleting the beta1 profiles, but have the same problems as many others. I'd like to provide a bit more information. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium and have installed Photoshop CS4, updated with ACR5.1 and Lightroom 2.1 final release. As others have described, the default for all of my images was set to one of the Camera profiles (Canon faithful beta1), but now the profile name in Lightroom is blank. I tried looking at the other profiles and it does indeed appear that the beta2 profile is being used, but if I then reset the image it now shows ACR4.4, whereas the image had been imported with the camera profile as default. Also, if I open an image in ACR5.1 that was specified to use the same camera profile, it now shows ACR4.4 and it is not using the beta2 profile of what I had been using, I can see this by selecting the other profiles. Going back to Lightoom, I guess I could select all my images and select the Canon faithful beta2 profile, but then the mark shows up bottom right of the image showing that they have all been edited/modified, is there anyway to get all my images using the profile I was using but the beta2 version, without this happening and how about new imports?

JavaFX is ObjectOriented why couldn't you (theoretically) model JavaFX in UML? Sure, you you could model JavaFX classes in a Class Diagram or even the hierarchy (a.k.a scene graph) via associations and realizations perhaps?
Round trip engineering might be asking a little much, and I don't know enough on the NetBeans uml templating features to be able to comment on any possible future JavaFX integration.

Also, I am no further forward in knowing how to add BDC Field entries in the Answer so that we can update BP fields like the preferred communication method etc.

Sneak preview Was 6.20 and New Abap Editor

Hi to all,
i've just installed the MiniWas 6.20 on my home pc.
It works great (wowowow!!!) but ... i'd like to work with new Abap/4 editor (included in the NetWeaver Sneak preview 2004 's' Abap).
Is it possibile install editor (and use) on the miniwas 6.20 system? Is there a weblog/post that describes how to do that (possible a step-by-step procedure)??

The only reason I could keep the 6.20 version is the memory requirement.
I installed 6.20 on 256MB, it was slow, but it was running. On 512MB it was quite fast.
7.00 won't work on 256MB, with 512MB is quite slow, with 1G it's OK.
Considering the default miniwas SP level, which is around 25 and the new editor would need 59, it would be a huge amount of work.
I'd suggest to save all of your work in transport requests and release it. Copy the data and cofile files to a save place and uninstall 6.20 and install 2004S/700. You can import all of your work back to release 700.
This way you would get a much more ABAP tool /6.40: Shared memory, Assertions and dynamic breakpoints, new debugger, Adobe forms, etc 7.00: New ABAP editor, Webdynpro ABAP, Enhancement Switchwork, Regex, etc /.
Never the less, I'd suggest to apply SPs on 700 as well, so you'd get the Regex demo toy and the New BSP editor and several cool features of the ABAP webdynpro /eg debuuger integration/.

Any ideas? I can work around it easily, but it's pretty annoying.

I can't find anything in User Prefs that would apply. After pushing the Send to Motion button in the "Export Selection to Motion Project" pane, if I leave "Embed 'Motion' Content" selected, it fires up Color. If I deselect the check box, and leave the clips as is on the timeline, it fires up Motion. It seems like an XML transfer bug. But I seem to be the only bonehead getting it. Which suggests user error.

After applying full scroll bar to the page including header and footer, I have provided content to
the page more than 100 lines and try to format the text from ribbon actions(format text area). On mouse over of font or fore color, the control jumps to the highlighted content area and not able to select the color. The page scrolls down and not able to click
on any action.
Consider this scenario also.
A content editor web part is added toward the bottom of the page.
Text is added to this (direct in the web part, not via a 'content link')
You highlight some text and go to the Markup Style dropdown...
Everything is fine until you hover over the "Paragraph" markup style, and suddenly the page scrolls to the web part you are editing, and you didn't have a chance
to click and apply the "Paragraph" formatting
I have tried testing this with text typed directly into the Content Editor, text pasted in from somewhere else, and text pasted in from somewhere else using "Paste as
Plaintext" option in the ribbon. In each scenario, I get the same results.
Furthermore, I have also tested this in both IE8 and IE9 and get the same results.
I can get it to occur most regularly with trying to apply the Paragraph "Markup Style" but
I've also seen this happen with Font Size (any font size). It's very frustrating since you aren't able to actually apply the formatting you need because the page jumps before you can click. Has anyone experienced this before. Any feedback would
help.

I try to apply full scroll bar to the page including header and footer, the ribbon is missing after I scroll down to the web part. And I cannot apply the "Paragraph" markup style to the content.
I recommend to use the SharePoint core styles to preserve the native functionality and GUI.
By design in SharePoint, the ribbon is always at the top. When you select the content, you can apply the "Paragraph" markup style in the ribbon.

UML and roundtrip

Problems with roundtrip in Sunstudio 8.1
I'm having problems with codegeneration.
I reverse engineer a class into a model, then adds an operation to the class in the model, then I select generate code on the class in the model. The Result is, all the code inside all operations is beeing removed.
This did work in Sunstudio earlier, what has happened....
This does not work in netbeans 5.5, but did work in Sunstudio 8.0

After reading all information I found, I'm still not able to have the "source synchronization" and this live roundtrip engineering working in Milestone 10.
I tried to do things according to this description:

1. I created a java project, there a java class (Main.java).
2. Used the "Reverse engineer ..." menu on project and created a new UML Project for it.
3. In the newly created UML Project I did a "Create diagram from selected elements ..." and selected the Class Diagram option.
4. Added a field to Main in the class diagram editor.
5. In the UML project standing the Model >> mypackage I used the "Generate Code..." from the context menu.
6. Set the Folder Location to the original java project sources (left both "Backup Existing Source files" and "Generate Markers for Source File Merging" selected)
7. Under my java project a Main_1.java is created. This included the field I added in the diagram editor and accessor methods for the field.
This is not what I actually expected. I thought it would add the new field declaration and accessor methods to Main.java while making a backup of Main.java as, say, Main.java2.
Later I tried hacking Main_1.java and removing UML Markers to force keeping the codes I write in the body of the methods (as suggested by the NewAndNoteWorthyMilestone10 page above), but it didn't help either: a new ..._N.java is generated and no actual merge is done (my codes are ignorred).
Do you have any ideas what I am doing wrong, or what is the intended use of the "Reverse Engineer ..." and "Generate Code..." functions?

when you do yourEditorPane.getStyledDocument().dump(System.out), if you don't see and footer or header, you must write your own RTFEditorKit, but you must know how an RTF file is coded (but i don't know this coding...)
