Unable to calculate the -ve overhead on WBS in CJ44

Hi All
I need your help for the below scenario with respect to OH calculation, please advise me
Post journal against network 100$
Settle to WBSE                      100$
Post  OH calculation                    5$
Post reversal journal       -100$
settle to WBSE              -100$
My expectation when I run CJ44 is  -5$
But this is not happening
could someone help me what could be the casue?
Thanks in advance
NN

Hi Naresh,
if I have understood correctly..
You had posted $100 toNWA and settled this to  WBS and then ran CJ44 at the WBS level and it added $5 as an OH.
Now you have posted a Journal entry of -$100 to negate the value at the WBS level and re-run the CJ44 and want to see a negative -5 to be added..
Is my understanding correct here?
for this to happen you need to run the reversal in CJ44 to reduce the already added $5 in the OH for the WBS..
If you are saying that while doing a Journal entry for -$100 you want system to calculate negative OH Please confirm what's the minimum amount you have choosen for OH to be calculated in the OH settings?

Sammar

    Hi,
You need not pass the condition records for filling the pricing records in the sales order. The functional consultant will maintain all the necessary pricing procedure and the condition records and it will flow from there.
May the pricing procedure is not correctly defined for that particular soldto party in the system, once that is maitained then everything will flow correctly.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh.

  • Unable to calculate the Sub totals

    Hi,
Currently we are in BI7. I had created a query based on aging buckets. it has all the calculations in the columns section. I have to calculate the sub totoals based on a particular info object Customer. For that I made the Result rows of the reamining info objects in the query to Always supress and for the info object Customer (based on which I have to show subtotals) I made it as Always Display.
When I execute the query, I get 0 in the subtotals. Can any one let me know how do I get the sub totals correctly instead of 0's.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Kartikey,
Thanks for the  response. I am not calculating the subtotals at the in the query definition and the sub totals are based on the info object 0customer's setting in the query designer to suppress the result rows. In RSRT also I am unable to get the sub totals.
If I remove the calculations (aging buckets) and display direct key figure in the columns, I am able to get the sub totals.
Is there any specific reason why the sub totals can not be calculated if the columns are calculated key figures/new formula.
Can any one let me know how to fix the sub totals.
    Thanks

We are encountering a simiilar situation related to Cost Center Assessements to a Work Order (Order Category 30) I'm thinking the promble is related to a similar situation that you had with a WBS.

    Hi Hareesha,
As Sreedhar has rightly said the issue is definitely with the correctness of the data.
Check the assignment of WBS to the proper business area which you are using to create the shopping cart.Check your org. structure and attributes and their assignments once again.
Neverthless some OSS notes for your reference if in case you can not able to make P.Os or the SC's / P.Os are not getting transfered to back end R/3.

  • How to calculate the Current APC (Acquisition and Production Cost)

    Hi,
Please help me how to calculate the Current APC.
The Current APC (Acquisition and Production Cost) is a calculated value based on Previous Year Acquisition balance plus any value changes up to the time of the report.
The Asset History Report (RAGITT_ALV01) calculates the Current APC value &
The Current APC can also be found in the Asset Explorer (transaction code AW01N) under Country Book 10/ Posted Values tab then the line “Acquisition Value” and column “Posted values”.

  • Unable to do the restriction at Fund Center or FM Area when FM is not activ

    Hi,
we have the following business requirement:
    Background of the issue:
Field Status variant in Account Assignment category and GL:
We are in the process of rolling out one of our company codes which is
    in a different instance(server).
We already have some 130+ company codes running in a different
instance. This is a kind of Instance consolidation to bring all systems
    under one instance.
Funds Management has been activated in the company code for which we
are carrying out the rollout. FM has not been activated for the
    existing company codes.
Now, the issue is with regard to the field status variants, which can
be controlled at the company code level and which cannot be controlled
which is at the client level.
    (i)     The existing company codes have a field status variant which
has the field status groups having the fields Commitment items and
Funds center in Suppress mode in the existing instance.
(ii)     The company to be rolled out has the field status variant which
has field status groups having the fields Commitment items and Funds
    Center in Optional mode.
(iii)     On the other hand, there is yet another field status control
for the Account assignment objects like Cost center, WBS elements, etc.
in the MM-FI integration area. This is at client level and at present
the same has the status of u201CSuppressu201D for Commitment items and Funds
Center. We have changed the same to u201COptionalu201D for the purpose of
testing the proposed roll out in our existing instance.
In that case, the status of GL account assignment in above is
clashing with our client level field status as described in (iii)
above. As a result, we are forced to change the field status in
above to optional mode for our existing company codes which we do not
    intend to do.
When only one company within a group of companies is activated with FM,
    I feel that:
    (i)     At the client level, there is no option for me other than to
keep the Funds center and commitment items in optional mode
(ii)     At the GL level, I should be able to keep my field status in
Suppress mode (If FM is not activated) and in Optional mode (If FM is
activated) and SAP should be able to take care of the clash in the
field status at the transaction level in such a scenario.
The issue is we are able to control the access if FM is activated for a particular company code, where as we are unable to control the access for other company codes where FM is not activated and FM Area is not linked.
We tried to use the BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST, but this is applicable for POs only.
Please look into this  issue and help us in meeting our business requirement.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ramakrishna

    Hi Justin,
    Thanks for the extra points.
Copy and save this bold text some where
    /Applications/iChat.app/Contents/MacOS/iChat -errorLogLevel 7
This needs to be run in Terminal.
iChat needs to be shut down to do so.
Just paste it in Terminal after the Welcome to Darwin message and hit enter.
It will launch iChat and create an on-going log in the Terminal window.
You will see the reference to the Harware rules.plist
Further down you will see the bandwidth found by iChat, followed by the number of Audio and Video Buddies that you can support.
    It goes on.....
It makes a note of the router that you are connected to.
After that it will end up lists listening checks until you connect to a Chat.
This makes this a useful way to find out what iChat can see at it's startup.
To Stop - Quit iChat in the Normal way.
Save the Log in a Text editor of some sort. (Post here if required).
    Then Quit Terminal.
It is a useful tool to highlight some things in the start up phase, (And a reminder to look in specific places) when you think you have looked at all the settings.

  • How to calculate the size of web forms in hyperion planning?

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to calculate the size of planning forms in Hyperion smart view., but i am unable to find out the way to calculate.
Can you pls explain how to calculate the size of web form in Smart view?
    --- Srini.

    Hi Srini,
First, here is what Oracle says:
    Data Form Size Estimation:
To get a rough estimate of data form size, open the data form and select File > Save As from the browser. The size of the .HTML file is the portion of the data form that changes based on grid size. The .JS files remain the same size and can be cached, depending on browser settings. Information such as data form definitions, pages, and .gif files are not compressed when data forms are opened and sent to the Web browser.
I have not been able to find out using their method.
In any case, you can find out the size of grid by using below
    1. Right click on the form grid and click "View source"
    2. Save the source file as "Example.html"
    3. Right click the saved file and click "Properties"
    4. The Form size whould be same as that of file..
Let me know if it helps.
    Cheers

  • Unable to calculate a request signature: Algorithm HmacSHA1 not available

    I develop one javaFx application.
which upload the files on amazon s3 server.
The application work fine when the executable jar of the application is made.
But when the native packaging of the application is done. The .msi file is created and after installing this .msi the application started correctly but at the time of uploading file on s3 the "Unable to calculate a request signature: Algorithm HmacSHA1 not available" error occur in log file and files are not uploaded.
The creation of the jar and native application is done by the com.zenjava maven plugin.

Got the solution. After creating native bundle the bundle have its own private copy of jre this private jre does not contain "ext" folder which is present in regular jre.
This causes the problem of cryptography which is the reason for above problem.

  • Required to calculate the depreciation from 01.04.2011

    Hello Experts
My client did the capitalization of certains assets through WBS settlement with a capitalization data as 31.03.2011 (he is folloiwng the fiscal year variant as April to March). However, as per his internal policy the depreciation calculation is required from next financial year onwards ie., 01.04.2011 onwards
They are struck in depreciation run, since the system considered the depreciation to be posted (for one days) for those assets are posted with a capitalization date as 31.03.2011.
Is there any way that the depreciation should not be posted for the selected assets as on 31.03.2011 and need to calculate the depreciation only from 01.04.2011 (next financial year onwards)
    Kindly revert
    Regards
    Anil

    Hi Anil
The only way is to change the Dep Start Date for these assets in AS02
You can use Substitution: Mass Change transaction in order to process them in a mass mode (OACS)

  • How to calculate  the 99th percentile of a number stream ...

    Environment:
Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE on Solaris 10.5
I have a stream of numbers (say 1000), I need to calculate the 99th percentile of the distribution of that stream such that when a new number 'n' is introduced I can tell if the new number is above the 99th percentile of the distribution of my stream.
I don't have a good feel for the nature of the distribution if that's important.
    I am NOT, I repeat NOT a statistician! :-)
I have read the docs on the different functions available, ntile, percent_rank, percentile_cont, percentile_disc, etc. I have also read many articles referenced via Google.
The examples do not do exactly what I'm attempting and I was unable to get the result I need by trial and error (mostly!).
    Any suggestions are most welcome!!!
If you need additional information I'll try to supply what I know.

INSERT INTO SALES(custno, tran_dt, amount) VALUES (26, TO_DATE('27-MAY-12','DD-MON-RRRR'),3004);I can now calculate the average sales over the past 6 months (180 day) and 1 month (30 day) periods. I don't need the 6 month average but I do need the individual sales to get the distribution and hence the standard deviations and hopefully the 99th percentile number. I know it's around 3 standard deviations but the spec I'm working with requires using the 99th percentile. Not my choice! :-)
    select custno,
avg(case when tran_dt between sysdate -210 and sysdate -31 then amount else 0 end) sales6mo,
             avg(case when tran_dt >= sysdate -30 then amount else 0 end) sales1mo,
             stddev(amount) sd,
             stddev(amount)*3 sd3
    from sales
group by custno;I want to see if there are any customers' (I know I only generated 2) 1 month sales that are more than the 99th percentile of the 6 month distribution.
If it's easier to use a lower percentile I can use the examples to plug in the 99.
Here is the result of the above query:
        CUSTNO   SALES6MO   SALES1MO         SD        SD3
             5 4506.11111 28.1111111 4142.61146 12427.8344
26 3563.81579 1090.05263  2952.1488 8856.44641So, from this data I would expect my 99th percentile to be close to the SD3 column. Correct?
Thanks very much for the assistance!!
