Unable to change requested delivery date in the sales order at item level.

The issue is when I create order with one material (linked to network and project is created automatically in the background), I am able to change (in change mode) req delivery date for an item, but when I create order with 2 materials (linked to network and project is created automatically in the background), I can not change (in change mode) the req delivery date of any item. Req delivery date is then copied from the header req delivery date.
Is this a standard SAP functionality or a defect?

Req del date is the date requested by customer and  can be changed at item level. Probably the confirmed date in the schedule line is derived from the network scheduling after ATP check. (ATP check is not activated in this case)
I am able to change the req del date at item level if there is only one item (Linked to network) and not when there are two line items (Both are linked to 2 diff networks belonging to same project)
I tried to change the date in the network, scheduled and saved but that didnt change the date in the sales order. On the contrary, if I run ATP check, netowrk dates get back to original dates derived from sales order.

  • Requested delivery date in a Sales Order?

    Hi,
In one of my client Functional document, it is mentioned that
[Material Availability Date] = [Requested Delivery Date] u2013 [No days in route]
I want to know that from where does the system get the requested delivery date when we create a sales order? Is it determined automatically based on certain parameters or is defaulted always to the order creation date?

It is based on few parameters like
    1. The relevant document type and in there Requested Delivery Date and there you will get Lead time in days and you can entar the number of days there. As it Specify the number of days after the current date that the proposal for the requested delivery date in the sales document should be.
2.In material Master MRP2 screen you will get Scheduling Screen where you will get
    In-house production
    GR processing time
    Plnd delivery time

where do i configure the setting in system?
    hhh

    Dear,
Goto the Transaction code MASS and enter the OBJECT TYPE as BUS2032 and Hit enter.
Now in the next screen select the table for SALES ORDER ITEM DATA and in the fileds select billing block mass with field
MASSSDHEAD_S-FAKSK and execute, it will lead to another screen in which you can enter all the Sales documents and execute, there u can assign billing block for all the Items at a time
    or
Sit with ABAPer and develop a BDC program (Hardly take 1 hour). This will be for future as well.
Just pass a file having all the sales order number, execute it in background.
When system is providing automatic way then why to go manual?
Please check this and revert back.

    Hi,
    Try this--
While defining the Contract sales docment type in VOV8,  uncheck the proposed delivery date field in  the tab Requested delivery date/ reqested pricing date/reqested prchase order date
I will not propose the system date and leaves the field blank
you can enter  the required delivery date.

  • Modification of the ship to address in the sales order at item level

    SAP ECC6
    Sales order. Transaction code VA01/VA02
Creation/modification of the ship to address at item level/Allowed by SAP when sold to ≠ ship to/Impossible when
    sold to = ship to
    Hello All,
I would like to set up an enhancement on the sales order.
    > What we want : we want to have the possibility to modify the ship to party address at item level. Indeed, we sometimes make slight modifications to address, such as adding the words "to the attention of"
    > What we don’t want : create a new ship to, to take into account the address modification or manage this modification in an item text
    > What SAP allows : At item level (as at header level) SAP allows you to modifiy the ship to address when the sold to ≠ ship to. BUT, SAP forbids the modification of the ship to address when the sold to = ship to
Is there a means on the customizing to authorize these modification address at item level each time the sold to = ship to ?
    Many thanx
    Best regards
    Vincent

    sold to party=ship to party
    goto item and tab partner
select partner function ship to party, again enter same code and press enter
now see item partner automaticlly selcted.
now double click on ship to party and change addrss etc accordingly.
    Hii Vincent,
It is possible to change address of shipt to party at item level and it doest matter if sold to part & ship to party are same or different at header level.
    Please see above images.
All you have to do is to select ship to party again in item tab-partners and enter code.
Please check item you are using is activated for business data.

  • Changes in colums order of the Sales Order at Item level

    Hi Friends,
I had a special requirement to map in my clients business process
In the item level of a sales order, the columns like Plant, Shipping point, and Route are not visible at the first glance of the order. They want these columns to be appeared after quantity column.
Can any one suggest solution for this?

    Hi hariprasad
If the requirement is to change the fields place then you can go with user exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAPKOM  or else you can go with the transaction variants SHD0 and you give the business object as BUS2032 and then change the field into the area where you want but for that you need to change the standard transaction variant only

  • Requested delivery date of the document

    Dear Team,
Can you please clarify the role of requested delivery date on the sales order header.  It does not look as though the system takes this date into account on delivery creation.  Is there a way to make this relevant so deliveries cannot be created until the requested delivery date arrives?
.  I was attempting to see if there was any way to make sure the field is actually used properly - availability check should not allow items to be delivered before the requested delivery date.  These orders come in through EDI, so there is no human intervention once they are entered.

    hello, friend.
there are 2 dates you must consider:
    1.  confirmed schedule lines are the basis for creating the delivery document, not the requested delivery date.  the schedule lines are influenced by the schedule line category which, in turn, is influenced by item category and MRP type.  of course, availability check also plays a role in the confirmation of schedule lines.
    2.  the requested delivery date (RDD) is the basis for the system to determine if requirements (i.e. sales order quantities) can be delivered on the RDD.
the sequence/logic in sales order processing will be something like this:
Step 1.  you create the sales order, enter material and quantity.  RDD is either proposed by the order type or is manually entered.
Step 2.  the system then conducts an availability check (unless no availability check was configured).
Step 3.  during the availability check, the system determines if the order quantity can be available by the RDD.
         a.   if yes, the schedule lines are confirmed to be equal to the RDD.
         b.   if no, then the system proposes a later date when the stocks will be available (assuming RLT); then the schedule lines are also confirmed for a later date.
Step 4.  once schedule lines are confirmed, you create a delivery document with the delivery date not earlier than the confirmed schedule line date.
    hope this helped.
    regards.

  • In MIGO, i need to see delivery dates from the purchase order

Is there a way to see in transaction MIGO, the delivery dates from the purchase order?  I hope there is some exit or BADI or BAPI or .... to perform this copy function?
We have multi-line POs for the same material with staggered delivery dates and the Warehouse needs to know which PO line to receive against.

when you enter the PO number in MIGO and hit enter, then you only get the items that can be received.
If you make sure that the PO items are created by ascending delivery date, then you can always take the first.
if you have the personal setting to display all items (even the already received ones), then you can take the first with a quantity proposal. already received items do not propose quantities.
I would ask purchasing to tell the vendor that he has to state the PO number along with the item number in all papers (delivery note, invoice).

  • Mass delivery block in the sales order

    Hi
Is there any way to remove the delivery block at the itel level in the sales order using the mass.
I have some thousand of sales orders with the delivery block at item level.
please let me know, this is urgent requirement.
    Thanks
    Aravalli

    Dear Aravali
If I am correct, you cannot assign delivery block in sale order at item level, but can assign Reason for Rejection at item level.  Only at header level, delivery block is there.
Nevertheless, if you want to remove the reason for rejection, go to MASS, input BUS2032 and execute.  There select [Sales Order Item Data]  and click on Fields. Select the field MASSVBAP-ABGRU and execute.  Give the required sale orders which you wanted to change and execute.  You can change and save so that the block will be removed at item level.
Alternatively, if you are referring to field [LIFSK]  in that case also, select Sales Order Item Data and click on Fields.  There choose the field MASSSDHEAD_S-LIFSK and execute.  Make the required changes and execute.
    thanks

  • Automatically creation of delivery group in the sales order

Hi Can u please tell me how do i create automatically delivery group in the sales order.

    Hi,
You can maintain the complete delivery indicator in your Customer Master(Ship to Party ) record shipping tab(Partial deliveries).
    As per SAP ,This indicator
Indicates whether a sales order must be delivered completely in a single delivery or whether the order can be partially delivered and completed over a number of deliveries.
There by it can form a Delivery group.
    Have a Nice Day.
    Regards,
    Ravi
