Unable to deploy after added adf binding

I want to call a BPEL process from Java so I added a adf binding as detailed in this article
http://blogs.oracle.com/jaylee/2009/08/invoking_composite_from_javajs.html
But when I deployed it using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2, I got the below error
Error during composite deployment: oracle.fabric.common.FabricDeploymentException: oracle.fabric.common.FabricException: Update Failed: Binding component failed to register Metadata types with SDO provider.: Cannot read WSDL "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/LineItem/LineItemProcessEventList}LineItemProcessEventList" from Metadata Manager.: Update Failed: Binding component failed to register Metadata types with SDO provider.: Cannot read WSDL "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/LineItem/LineItemProcessEventList}LineItemProcessEventList" from Metadata Manager..
I tried it with other BPEL processes and it worked fine. Only this one has this issue.
Do you have any ideas?

sorry i just notice you're using standalone version. can you see any errors/stack trace in your command-line console? can you post the exception stack trace?

  • SOA Composites not getting deployed after adding AppsLoggerService

    Hi
I am trying to enable logging for mediator components. I followed this kix page (Fusion Logging and Error Handling for SOA[https://kix.oraclecorp.com/KIX/display.php?labelId=1918&articleId=200788]) to enable the logging.
After adding the service to use AppsLoggerService I am not able to deploy the composites to the SOA server. However deployment of composites without this change goes fine. To enable mediator level logging I created a ADF-BC service and provided the AppsLoggerService WSDL and in the mplan I craeted a xsl for transformation. I am getting this error on deployment :

  • Unable to deploy after undeploy...

    Hello there,
I have a OC4J 10.1.3.4 Standalone instance installed here, and when I first deploy my app everything goes right. But after undeploying it I'm unable to deploy it again. An exception is thrown when my app tries to instantiate my persistence unit. So I'm (almost) pretty sure that it is something about about the managed data source that I use. Probably is not being released...
How do I manage to solve that? Is there a correct sequence that I have to follow in order to release the data source? A friend of mine told me that I should stop the app before uninstalling it. But this didn't work...
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks,
    Bruno.

sorry i just notice you're using standalone version. can you see any errors/stack trace in your command-line console? can you post the exception stack trace?

  • ADF application hangs after  $$added root$$ message in the logs

    Hi ADF Gurus,
We have an ADF application which freezes after we create a row in a particular VO,
When debugged in Jdev, the application seems to hang when either of the below log messages appear. Does anybody know what these messages mean? Just hoping for some hint as to where the problem might lie. The table where the new row is added has about 150,000 records in it
    Log messages:
    <PCollNode> <checkForSplit> [50545] $$added root$$ id=-2
    <PCollNode> <checkForSplit> [50546] $$added root$$ id=-73
    <PCollNode> <checkForSplit> [50636] $$added root$$ id=-2559
    Environment details:
    Jdev: 11.1.1.5.0
    Database:11g
    Thanks

Unable to merge call for conference after adding new call . Can anybody help ?

Conference calls With GSM, you can set up a conference call with up to five people at a time, depending on your carrier.
Create a conference call: While on a call, tap Add Call, make another call, then tap Merge Calls. Repeat to add more people to the conference.
Drop one person: Tap Conference, tap next to a person, then tap End Call.
Talk privately with one person: Tap Conference, then tap Private next to the person. Tap Merge Calls to resume the conference.
Add an incoming caller: Tap Hold Call + Answer, then tap Merge Calls. Note: You can’t make a FaceTime video call when you’re on a conference call

  • Unable to deploy/run adf application in jdeveloper/ satandalone server

    Hi
I am trying to deploy a simple ADF application (Fusion Web application) in
Jdeveloper IDE (Integrated WL server)  - In this case, the server state is changing to RUNNING but no signs that the application is deployed and no Target URL is seen.
Deploying it on a standalone server: In  this case, I get the following error: Remote deployment failed (oracle.jdevimpl.deploy.common.Jsr88RemoteDeployer).
    Can anyone please suggest...
    Thanks a lot

    Hi Shay
    Thanks a ton for responding.
My application is a basic taskflow app - to display the values of a form on the following page (splash page)...
when I tried to deploy it on a stand alone wl server( 2nd case) - deployment status = Failed with the error message I mentioned above.
    a) i tried running on standalone using the jdeveloper and
    B) i took the war file and deployed it - I get the same error with Deployment Status = Failed.
the strange part is that the same application is running fine on my friends machine - she is able to see the Target URL and the deployment is successful.

  • After adding unable editing to UDF

    Dear All,
Is there a way to disable UDF from changes after adding?
For example I have created UDF in A/R invoice and after creating one invoice with UDF, I don't want people come and edit the UDF after invoice have been created.
    Thanks.

By user, you can use CTRL SHIFT B to manage the user fields and make that inactive for each user. They will need authorisation to complete the task, then remove the authorisation.
It's a bit of a mission, but it does work.
Using the new "Copy Form Settings" function, this can be copied across users.

Anyone can help me to solve the problem?
I'm using JDEV 11.1.1.2.0 and embed WLS
    Thanks and Best regards, kenshin

It normally indicates something wrong with your auth provider settings. I believe there are similar messages on this forum , search them(the last time was someone had a different schema for his user tables than the normal portal schema). See if there are any other errors (before) or the complete stack trace.
Check whether your security realm is configured correctly and all the expected users and roles are present there.

  • Unable to deploy example 'banking' application on weblogic, please help...

    Hi,
I have downloaded the example 'banking.zip' and have installed it.
I have followed all given steps in the tutorial, but I am unable to
    see the login page.
I am also not able to see the ejb and web application descriptor file
    from the admin console.
I have copied the banking directory to
    '$WEBLOGIC\config\mydomain\applications'.
There are 3 directories under it
    (1) ejb (containing meta-inf and examples directory. Meta-info
    contains the descriptor .xml files)
    (2) web (containing web-inf and html, jsp and image files. Web-inf
    contains weblogic.xml and web.xml)
    (3) Meta-Inf (containing the application.xml)
I get the 'Error 404--Not Found' error when I go to
http://localhost:8001/banking/login.html. (my server is running on
    8001 port, i hope this doesn't matter)
When I try to edit the web application descriptor I get the following

    Hi,
I was able to successfully deploy after installing
    weblogic 6.1 SP2 (earlier I had SP1). Also, I had to make
changes in the BankAppServlet code since it tries to find the
bean with a different name than one specified in jndi-name.
    - Thanks,
    Sonali

  • Fusion Applications 11.1.7: Deploy a custom ADF page to Fusion Applications

    Hi,
I am trying to create and deploy a custom ADF page in Fusion Applications(in premise) which will allow search, create and update operations on a custom table. I have been going through a pile of documents and this forum but I still have the following questions.
I have a PageA based on the UIShell. This page is linked to the taskflow TaskFlowA which provides the search functionality. TaskFlowA calls TaskFlowB and TaskFlowC which provide the create and edit functionalities.
I have enabled security from Jdeveloper (Application>Secure>Configure ADF Security)
    Question#1: Is this step required?
To deploy it I will generate the ADF Library JAR for the Model and ViewController. The ADF Library JAR for the model will be placed into the <ExplodedEarDirectory>/APP-INF/lib directory of an existing application(say HCM). The ADF Library JAR for the UI will be placed in the <ExploadedWarDirectory>/WEB-INF/lib directory.
Question#2: Are any other steps required for deployment.
I will then add permissions for the page by following the steps in How To Configure Security For Custom Pages/Taskflows Added To Fusion Applications(Doc ID 1486524.1). This document lists the steps for configuring authorization policies using APM.
Question#3: While specifying the resource type in APM, I will select RegionResouceType and set the Name to PageA. I understand that I need to provide the full path of PageA in the form xx.xxx.xx. But how do I get the full path?
Finally I will add a new menu entry in the Navigator menu using the setup task “Manage Menu Customizations” by adding a new item.
Question#4: What will be the value of Focus View Id for the new Item? Will it be the Focus View Id that I provided while creating the menu file in JDeveloper?
Question#5: What will be the value of Secured Resource Name? Will it be the same as what I provided in Question#3 above?
    Thanks,
    Sujoy

    Question#1: Is this step required?
Yes if you want to test the security in the integrated WLS .
Question#2: Are any other steps required for deployment.
Yes. Please follow up our earlier post ADF How-To #12: Deploying Customizations to Standalone WLS
For question #3, #4 & #5 please first review our other post ADF How-To #10: Replacing A Bounded Task Flow  This won't answer completely what you asked but would definitely be a step in that direction.
I would also recommend you to go through other posts starting with title ADF How-To #.

  • APPCRASH in Acrobat.dll after adding annots with AFExecuteThisScript()

I have a C# app that displays PDFs in a WebBrowser control.   I also have a plug-in that loads annotations into the PDF (i.e. doc.addAnnot(<propertys>)) via calls to AFExecuteThisScript().  It works; the annots are loaded successfully.  However, whenever I do this, I get an APPCRASH after the app has terminated. Since it happens after the app exits, it's out of the debugger's scope.
Since this problem happens only after my plug-in adds annots to the PDF, I'm thinking that something Javascript-related is not being released before the app exits.  I've tried doc.dirty = false after adding each annot, and also docClose() in my plug-in's AVDocWillClose callback, but it doesn't do any good.
This is NOT caused by AFExecuteThisScript() per se.  In other words, I can do AFExecuteThisScript with or without a return value and there's no APPCRASH.  It only seems to happen when I modify the PDF (i.e. add annots) via AFExecuteThisScript().
This is not a showstopper for me but merely an irritant, because it always happens when the application terminates.  Incidentally, it did not seem to happen in Acrobat 8.
Here is the problem signature that is produced in VS 2005 after the app terminates.
    Problem signature:
      Problem Event Name:    APPCRASH
      Application Name:    DrsDisposition.vshost.exe
      Application Version:    8.0.50727.42

    Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

I modified my plug-in to enable it when I open a PDF from the file system with Acrobat.exe, and then create a single annot with AFExecuteThisScript().
Everything works fine, the annot is created, and there is no APPCRASH when I quit Acrobat.
I just needed to modify my AVDocDidOpen and AVIdle callbacks to make this work (to allow me to work with PDFs opened in Acrobat.exe from the file system), so everything else about the plug-in (initialization through cleanup) is the same.
One of the last lines of output was:
         'Acrobat.exe': Unloaded 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.dll'
It seems to me that the problem is related to the WebBrowser control, which apparently does not release Acrobat.dll when it destructs.  I've tried manually releasing Acrobat.dll in my app code after Application.Run(theForm); returns, i.e.
         IntPtr handle = GetModuleHandle("Acrobat.dll");
         if (!handle.ToString().Equals("0"))
              FreeLibrary(handle);
but that causes the app to crash on FreeLibrary().
I wonder if it would make any difference if I were to manually load Acrobat.dll in my code, rather than waiting for the WebBrowser control to do it when it opens the PDF.  I noticed that one of the first output lines from Acrobat.exe (after the windows libraries are loaded) is
    ADOBE_READLOGGER_CMD:COMMENT:BeforeOROADOBE_READLOGGER_CMD:COMMENT:AfterORO'Acrobat.exe': Loaded 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.dll', No symbols loaded.
Incidentally, I'm unable to debug my plugin when I run my app in VS 2005.  There's no process that I can attach my plug-in debugger to, probably because Acrobat 9 uses in-process DLLs to render PDFs in browsers.

  • Refresh table automatically after adding record in dynpro

I have a table element in my layout which is bind to a dictionary table and displaying the records correctly.I have input fields in the same view along with the add buttoon which inserts the entered record into the dictionary table successfully.
Till now its fine but what I want is after adding the record, the displayed record in the table should be refreshed automatically.I guess one method would be that in action of button click  i  fetch the records using select query into an internal table and bind it again to the table.
Is there any other method to do this. Also will supply function be helpful in this case???

  • Update beans after adding columns to DB tables

I am trying to use JDeveloper 10G , Studio Edition Version 10.1.3.0.4.3673
I am having difficulty finding out how to update CMP Entity Beans
after adding columns to DB tables.
I have found descriptions of how to do these from four sources.
    None of these methods work.
They all refer to menu options, buttons or fields that aren't in the JDevb IDE.
List of options that don't exist :
    "Synchronize with Database"
    "attributes"
    "Add from table"
    "New from Table"
    "Fields Tab"

What version of EJBs are you using?
The only option I know of for EJBs will be to generate the bean from the table again, or manually add the field to the EJB.
The "Synchronize with Database" operation is there for ADF Business Components but not for EJBs.
