Unable to deploy artifacts to SOA MDS
Hi,
When I try to deploy common artifacts to MDS through JDeveloper using procedure explained in this blog:
http://yatanveersingh.blogspot.com/2011/07/mds-implementation-in-oracle-soa-11g.html ,
or try to do same thing using ant script as explained here:
http://biemond.blogspot.se/2009/11/soa-suite-11g-mds-deploy-and-removal.html ,
result is same: everything is ok on my local environment, but on test environment deploy fail with this error:
There was an error deploying/undeploying composite on soa_server1: Error in reading data from deployer client.: /tmp/sar_base_dir_f6d9ba4f-d4c8-45d4-acd6-eab0fb527382/MDSLib_mds.jar (No such file or directory).
Only difference I can think of is that on local environment SOA Server doesn't have managed server (only AdminServer), and on test environment there is managed soa server beside AdminServer.
Any help is welcomed, thank you.
Boris

Unable to deploy composite to SOA server from JDev 11.1.1.4.0
Hello,
I've been fighting this problem for so many hours. I have installed JDev 11.1.1.4.0 and SOA Suite the same version. I've followed tutorials for creating OSB domain with admin server and one managed server.
The problem is with deployment wizard in JDev. On page "SOA Servers" I have a blank list and cannot continue. I'm unnable to figure out what's wrong. Please, let me know if you need more info (screenshots etc.).
Thanks in advanceCould you deploy the app as sar archive and try to deploy it via enterprise manager?

Thanks,
romain.Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
Yes, I followed the documentation in which it is said to deploy the application ....
I found the problem :
I was trying to deploy a SOA Bundle containing only the metadata jar => I got the error.
I tried to deploy a SOA Bundle containing 2 jars : one for metadata and another for a BPEL Project, it worked.
I can't deploy the metadata only ...

Cannot create SOA-MDS connection for JDBC driver issue
I am unable to create a SOA-MDS connection in JDeveloper 11.1.1.6. We are using MS SQL Server database and have put the sqljdbc4.jar file into a library in our JDeveloper environments. We can use this to sucessfully create database connections.
However, when we attempt to configure a SOA-MDS connection which uses our DEV_MDS connection (which uses the com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver successfully), we do not see anything in the drop down list for 'Select MDS partition'.
While looking at the Messages, log, we're getting:
WARNING: Error reading db partitions for connection DEV_MDS. Reason: MDS-0003: error connecting to the database
Error during pool creation in Universal Connection Pool Manager MBean
...ClassNotFoundException: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerXADataSource
I opened our sqljdbc4.jar file and see both the SQLServerXADataSource.class and SQLServerDriver.class files in there.
So why can JDeveloper load one of them but not the other at runtime? Do I need to add the sqljdbc4.jar to a second location (besides a custom Library) in order for the Universal Connection Pool Manager MBean to load it via JDeveloper?
Please advise,
Michael
NOTE: I can manually query the database and see 'soa-infra', 'owsm' and 'obpm' partitions just fine.
Edited by: mscongdon on Aug 14, 2012 9:33 AMHi,
Do you use MS SQL Server as your MDS database? Did you create an MDS in it using RCU?
When you created the database connection in JDeveloper could you test it succesfully? Can you connect to it with the Database Navigator?

Unable to deploy BPEL from JDeveloper 10g in Vista
Dear Experts,
When deploying bpel process from JDeveloper I am getting the following errors.
Note: I am using Vista. Both Application server & JDeveloper versions are
synchronized . My versions are Oracle Application Server SOA suite 10.1.3.1 &
JDeveloper 10.1.3.1. Both are deployed in Vista. Is there any special configuration
set up is neccessary with vista. Please suggest me.
Note: Also from my jdeveloper I can able to establish connection for both integration server & application server
successfully. But unable to deploy.
BUILD FAILED
A problem occurred while establishing a connection to the BPEL Server.
Please make sure the server is running on host "eway-pc", port "8888".
Thanks,
RajeshCan you post the full error statck, this error is very generic and can be misleading.
Are you able to deploy other processes.
There are some know issue with Vista, have a look at this metalink note. 444112.1

Update SOA-MDS after change in AIA component
Hi,
I have changed an EBO but I am not able to Update SOA-MDS after the change. I get the below error when I run
ant -f UpdateMetaData.xml
C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_aia\aia_instances\AIA_Inst\config>ant -f UpdateMetaDataDP.xml
The error is:

<include name="AIAComponents/EnterpriseObjectLibrary/Core/EBO/DisbursedPayment/V1/**"/>
</fileset>
</UpdateMetadata>
</Configurations>
</DeploymentPlan>
Just wondering if anyone knows what I am doing wrong???Hi,
UpdateMetaDataDP.xml is a deployment plan and not an ant script.
You need to execute the UpdateMetaData.xml under $AIA_HOME/Infrastructure/Install/config . This ant script will invoke AID and run the UpdateMetaDataDP.xml under $AIA_INSTANCE/config directory.

the same application works if deployed directly to the glassfish server
I did all the suggestions as mentioned in Unable to deploy app form Eclipse Luna on Glassfish 4.0 or 4.1 with JDK8 but without success.
Does anybody has an idea what the problem could be and how to track it down?
Thanks a lot!Hello Kostas
Thanks a lot for your help and hints! I am running Windows 7 64 Bit
I had Java 8, once with Release 20 and once with Release 25, installed - and thought that I pointed all to the newest version.
What helped in the end was to
- deinstall all Javas
- reboot
- installed newest JDK, without the "Public JRE"
- reboot
- set JAVA_HOME and appended the Java-bin-dir to the path-Variable
- reboot
- installed a fresh version of Glassfish
- configured a new Glassfish-Server on Eclipse
-> and now it runs perfectly!
Thanks again for your work and hints! -

Unable to load soa_infra after SOA Install
Hello,

I have installed RCU, WLS, SOA11G and created domain successfully. I can start Admin Server and SOA Server, but I can't see soa_infra in EM Console and
soa_infra component is also in failed status in Admin Server Components.
I am not finding anything much in logs.
Which log will give me the exact error for this issue? soa server log or soa server.out or soa_diagnostic log
Also, while creating domain under the 'Test JDBC Component Schema' all the below components test was successful:
SOA Infrastructure, User Messaging Service, OWSM MDS Schema, SOA MDS Scehma
Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Error while deploying WC application: Unable to deploy EJB
Hi All,
we are getting the below error quite frequently, whenever we deploy the application to server:
[03:35:14 AM] Weblogic Server Exception: weblogic.application.ModuleException: Exception preparing module: EJBModule(CAWrapperEJB.jar)
Unable to deploy EJB: CAService from CAWrapperEJB.jar:

You must set a different JNDI name in the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml deployment descriptor or corresponding annotation for this EJB before it can be deployed.

You must set a different JNDI name in the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml deployment descriptor or corresponding annotation for this EJB before it can be deployed.
[03:35:14 AM] See server logs or server console for more details.
-to solve this issue we just delete the cache and restart the Managed server.
Please tell me what is the cause of this error and how can we fix it permanently, as restarting the server everytime is not very convenient.
TIA,

Unable to deploy EJB 3.0 on JBoss 4.0.4GA - no home interface
I am stuck in that my EJB3.0 project (one entity bean, one session bean and one client test bean) builds OK but somehow Eclipse Europa is unable to deploy it to JBoss (4.0.4 GA and 5 Beta) -- something to do with JNDI error as it involves javax.naming exceptions.
My Eclipse directory structure is :-
Titan (project name)
|
ejb - com.titan (package name)
| |
| domain -> Cabin.java (my entity bean)
| |
| travelagent -> TravelAgentBean.java
| -> TravelAgentRemote.java
|
META_INF -> ejb-jar.xml
-> MANIFEST.MF
-> persistence.xml
My ejb-jar.xml is :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ejb-jar id="ejb-jar_ID" version="2.1" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/ejb-jar_2_1.xsd">

<remote>com.titan.travelagent.ejb.TravelAgentRemote</remote>

<session-type>Stateless</session-type>
<transaction-type>Container</transaction-type>
</session>
</enterprise-beans>
</ejb-jar>
And my persistence.xml is :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<persistence version="1.0" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence/persistence_1_0.xsd">
<persistence-unit name="Titan">
<provider>org.hibernate.ejb.HibernatePersistence</provider>
<class>com.titan.domain.Cabin</class>
<properties>
<property name="hibernate.connection.driver_class" value="oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" />

<property name="hibernate.connection.username" value="SYSTEM" />
<property name="hibernate.connection.password" value="Swordfish1" />
</properties>
</persistence-unit>

I right-click on the Titan project name and choose Build Project. I get the following error message :-

I don't understand, because as of EJB 3.0, you don't really need a home or local-home interface anymore...Using @SecurityDomain("exemplo1") in my EJB and NOT providing jboss.xml, it works.
@SecurityDomain("exemplo1")
@RolesAllowed("yyy")
@Stateless(name="UserManagement")
public class UserManagementBean implements UserManagement {
public void add(User user) {
}Damn! This is some serious shit... I dont want to configure this in every single EJB.
EJB 3.0 is nice, but some small trivial details like this and others, that was forgotten by Sun, piss me off! -

How did you uninstall the graphics drvier? From Devices manager or Programs and Features?
Please open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
And then, search for "NVIDIA Graphics Driver" and then select the "Change/Remove" button to begin the uninstall process.
Next, once the uninstall has completed, reboot Windows so that the other NVIDIA components can be removed as well.
If the issue still persists, since this driver that you recently installed caused problems with your PC, you can restore Windows back to an earlier point in time.
