Please advice

Thanks for the response James.
Though the classpath/path looks like it has references to JDK 1.5, it is actually referring to jrocket JDK 1.6. I can confirm this because when I type "C:\ORACLE\MIDDLE~1\JROCKI~1.5-3\lib" in windows explorer it takes me to "C:\ORACLE\Middleware\jrockit_160_14_R27.6.5-32\lib"
Moreover, C:\ORACLE\Middleware is the place where I installed weblogic 11gR1.
I looked at the startWeblogic.cmd, setDomainEnv.cmd and commEnv.cmd to trace how the JDK path is getting manipulated and I found that in setDomainEnv.cmd there is a line "for %%i in ("%JAVA_HOME%") do set JAVA_HOME=%%~fsi " which is converting the full JDK path to short path. Below are the references in the .cmd files :
setDomainEnv.cmd
set BEA_JAVA_HOME=C:\Oracle\Middleware\jrockit_160_14_R27.6.5-32 <---------------------Setting the correct JDK version
if "%JAVA_VENDOR%"=="Oracle" (
     set JAVA_HOME=%BEA_JAVA_HOME%
) else (
     if "%JAVA_VENDOR%"=="Sun" (
          set JAVA_HOME=%SUN_JAVA_HOME%
     ) else (
          set JAVA_VENDOR=Oracle
          set JAVA_HOME=C:\Oracle\Middleware\jrockit_160_14_R27.6.5-32
set JAVA_HOME=%JAVA_HOME%
for %%i in ("%JAVA_HOME%") do set JAVA_HOME=%%~fsi <------------------------Converting to short form
.....And other commands
if NOT "%WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH%"=="" (
     if NOT "%CLASSPATH%"=="" (
          set CLASSPATH=%WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH%;%CLASSPATH%
     ) else (
          set CLASSPATH=%WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH%
commEnv.cmd
set WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH=%JAVA_HOME%\lib\tools.jar;%BEA_HOME%\utils\config\10.3\config-launch.jar;%WL_HOME%\server\lib\weblogic_sp.jar;%WL_HOME%\server\lib\weblogic.jar;%FEATURES_DIR%\weblogic.server.modules_10.3.2.0.jar;%WL_HOME%\server\lib\webservices.jar;%ANT_HOME%/lib/ant-all.jar;%ANT_CONTRIB%/lib/ant-contrib.jar <-----------WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH is set here

    Hi Experts,
    We have installed Weblogic 10.3.5, 11.1.1.5 oim + soa in AIX operating system machine. We also patched to 11.1.1.5.2. When I started admin server, oim and soa server I can see all the three servers started, but I couldn't access idm page. Only one error log was there, which says

    Please give your suggestions.

  • Fusion Apps web service call fails with error access denied (oracle.wsm.security.WSFunctionPermission)

    Hello Guru,
    I am trying to call a supplier service from SOA/OSB.
    But while calling the service it is failing with the below error message
    access denied (oracle.wsm.security.WSFunctionPermission http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/prc/poz/suppliers/supplierService/SupplierService#getSupplierVO invoke)
    As per OER cookbook i have attached the "oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy" to the Fusion  apps web service.
    I am trying to pass security credentials to the service by using all the methods... through composite ..through bpel through wsse header but in all cases i am getting similar error.
    Please let me know if some one has called the fusion apps web service to create a supplier of solution to my problem  as mentioned above.

    Hi Sai,
        Thanks for the quick and correct response. Yes, after doing the research, I'm also came to same conclusion. But what stops me here is that where exactly I need to check for this permission.
    I mean the theory what I built on this Authorization/Permission is that:
       For the resource - WebService (SupplierService), there is an assigned application role for which the Entitlement/Permission is provided.
    Pls. help me in the below items:
    a. What is the application role(in role hierarchy) assigned to this resource(Webservice). Which page I need to check(navigation) this and the required credentials..
    b. What is the Entitlement provided for this application role for this operation (getSupplierVO) invoke.. Which page I need to check(navigation) this and the required credentials..
    Thanks in Advance.
    Thanks & Regards

  • DATA IMPORT from MS.ACCESS TO ORACLE DATABASE

    I have an MS ACCESS MDB file , I to import all the Tables and Data into ORACLE DATABASE through FORMS.Because this file is on Client side, and maintain on daily basis ,so it is very hard to import manually daily through traditional ODBC method,for that our one team member busy all day with that issue.
    Is it possible in our forms to import data from MS.ACCESS to ORACLE. I tried HOST command but it doesn't work.
    Data structure and Table Name are same both is MS Access and Oracle.
    We are Oracle 8i and Developer 6i

    Like i said in my previous post, the same steps that you used to do manually, you need to do it through forms, it's not that straight forward, you need to do lots of coding.
    connect form to MS Access db read the data, and insert them into oracle tables.
    Search the forum, there are solutions previously posted, and keep checking the online help .

  • Migration from MS Access to Oracle 8

    Sir,
    I have exported the MS Access table from MS Access to Oracle in the following way.
    I have selected the table from MS Access and clicked on export and then it asked for exporting option. I have selected ODBC databases and given the option from 'emptab' to emptab. I have created a new system dsn and finally the table was exported to oracle(user name: scott pwd : tiger. when I logged on to scott/tiger and queried the tables select * from tab; , all the tables in that user are displaying. But I am not able to query on that particular table. I was getting the message 'table or view' doesn't exist. Pl guide me how to access that table and query on that table either desc table or insert into that table or update etc.
    with warm regards
    [email protected]
    srinivas

    Srinivas,
    The Oracle Migration Workbench will migrate access data and datastructures over to oracle, it can then modify the access database so that link tables are created to access the oracle information from the access forms and views.
    If you are using ODBC to export the data:
    What are the commands you are entering and the output? Note that oracle tables are usually upper cased so if the table name is MY_TABLE, select * from "my_table"; will not work whereas select * from my_table; will. Access export via odbc preserves the case so one may need to select * from "my_table";
    select table_name from user_tables;
    Will show the current users tables, to show what case is expected, upper or lower.
    I hope these small pieces of information are helpful in solving the issue.
    Regards,
    Turloch

  • Error Connecting or Deploying from JDEV to BPEL Server

    Hi,
    I am using BPEL PM 10.1.2 installed on a UNIX box.
    I am unable to connect from JDEV to the BPEL server installed in a UNIX server. I get the following error when trying to test the connection

    This has been working fine until recently.
    I am still able to test processes from the BPEL console.
    Please let me know if anyone has come across this error earlier.

    Hi,
    change the named connection in JDeveloper to not use localhost reference but the data server host reference. The data sources are created from the available named connections.Alternatively you can switch off the automatic datasource creation in Jdeveloper and create them manually

  • How to migrate data from MS Access to Oracle???????

    how to migrate data from MS Access to Oracle???????

    You can use heterogeneous services (HS) connection to MS-Access from Oracle and still use the same PL/SQL (or even a single CTAS statement) or SQL to load directly to Oracle tables. It's transparent, quick and clean as opposed to writing complex control files.
    You might have to set the ODBC connection to your Access database and add the details to Oracle listener.
    Please let me know if you are not sure how to set up the connection.

    PLs guide me.
    Sailaja.

    Also, additionally, please make sure you had followed all the steps in "Deploying Fusion Web Application" chapter of the Fusion Developer's Guide for Oracle ADF. There are several steps you need to follow closely - for example you need to create the Datasource entries first. Also, ensure that the WLS server you are trying to deploy to has all the necessary ADF runtime library. For example, when you create the WLS server using the Configuration Wizard, you need to check the option "Oracle JRF - 11.1...." to install the ADF runtime library to the WLS Server you are creating. If you are deploying ADF application to just any WLS server, you will see a lot of these "missing library" errors.
    If you do not see the option "Oracle JRF - 11.1...." in the configuration wizard, please ensure that you are running the version of the Configuration Wizard that are shipped as part of JDeveloper studio edition.

  • PDK 9.0.4 Error: cannot access class oracle.security.jazn.realm.RealmUser

    Dear Forum,
    we are developing portlets for Portal 3.0.9.8. We use the default JPDK version, that comes with the standalone Oracle OC4J 9.0.4 bundled with PDK.
    We want to improve our portlet by check the userid of the portal user. Therefore, we want to use oracle.portal.provider.v2.ProviderUser.getUser().getName()
    in a JSP.
    First - even before the method call - we included
    <%@ page import="oracle.portal.provider.v2.http.ServletProviderUser" %>
    But even this 1 statement gives in JDeveloper 9.0.4 with the libs pdkjava and ptlshare from the OC4J the following error:
    Error: cannot access class oracle.security.jazn.realm.RealmUser; file oracle\security\jazn\realm\RealmUser.class not found
    What is wrong here? What missing library we must include?
    Thank You in advance

    Problem solved. Need to include jazn.jar in project's lib-paths.
