Unable to Deply using JSPM in PI 7.1

Hi Experts,
Please can any one tell me the process how to deploy *.war in PI 7.1.
I tired to use JSPM tool but unable to deploy (FTP_JDBC_ConnectionValidation_711.zip).

Just a thought, probably the subject of thread is misleading as I am not sure if your particular application has to be deployed using JSPM.

As per your error message, there is problem with the SDM is not starting after finishing deployment on SAP J2EE Engine Deployment. Development component are not deployed properly due to error message

Please check the default timeout and increased as requred.

Error during deploying MDM 7.1 Sp02 bussiness packages in CE7.1 using JSPM

Hello,
I am facing error when i am trying to deploy following MDM sca file in CE7.1 using JSPM
1. BPMDMAPP02_115.sca
2. BPMDMTECH02_115.sca
I have already deployed following SCA file into CE7.1 successfully.
3 .MDMJAVAAPI02_59.sca (deployed success)
is it mandatory that all sca files should be at same path level?currently API is at 59 and App and tech are at 115 .
I am using CE7.1 trail version , i could not find out SDM to deploy sca files,so i am using JSPM to deploy sca files.

Hi,
Yes, all three should be compatible to MDM server and should be at same patch level.
But i think reason for your deployment error is different.
I found this in SAP note no 1281637
"MDM standard Portal content (iViews) are supported on SAP NetWeaver 2004 and SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s). At this time, there are no plans to migrate the content to be compatible to SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1.

Axis framework deployment in PI 7_1 using JSPM only

Hi everyone,
we are trying to deploy Axis framework in our 7_1 PI server using JSPM only (as seemingly SDM is no longer available). SAP note only describe how to create SDA file which JSPM doesnot read/understand. Is it true or is there any way to make JSPM read SDA files?
We used SAP MAKE utility with NWDS to convert this SDA into SCA file.
The further deployment showed successful in the JSPM logs however the test servlet throws error with axis.jar

We checked the SCA contents. axis.jar and AxisEngine.class files are in there. Also, all the jars are indeed aailable in folder usr/sap/XXX/j2ee/cluster/bin/ext/com.sap.aii.af.axisproviderlib/lib.
Am i missing something? Has anyone seen same error or has a working 710 sca file ?

This is the first time i am working on XI, i am trying to deploy DI Build tool (SAPBUILDT06_0-10003479.zip), i have copied this to usr/sap/trans/EPS/in
1.can i use JSPM to deploy this ? do i ahve any other option? if so can you please explain the procedure.
2. i tried using JSPM with option of "new software package" to apply but in the next screen it says " No software components found to deploy in trans/EPS/in"

When you want to use JSPM, as part of the download from the service market place, you also need to download xml file which describes all the details. usually you give tjis xml file in the JSPM and then it will check for everything.

Error in SP 9 upgrade for NW04s using JSPM

i have installed NW04s and trying to upgrade to SP9 using JSPM.
But during validation of the SCA files in the JSPM, the following error occurs which does not allow me to deploy. please help me how to resolve.
This error shows the package "SAPEU09_0-10003026.SCA" has to be revised.
i have pasted the error part of the log file below.

I have installed VC components by selecting new components and then tried SP stack. It worked as the dependency was with the VC Components.

Why am I unable to print using Control P?

After updating a computer in the office to Windows 7, from XP, I am now unable to print using the Ctrl +P keys. This feature works on the same websites on both the old OS and other computers running Windows 7 in the office. When I try it give me the error message, "Some printing functionality is not currently available". What can I do to fix this?

I already followed the second link given by you and My jdbc driver installed properly first time but the jdbc adapter was not showing in communication channel. Only RFC and SOAP are showing there. In second link com.sap.aii.adapter.lib showing under SAP-XI3RDParty under software Component column but in my system it's not showing there .Software Component column coming blank in my case. So I add additional property Software Component in provider.xml whose value was sa.com/SAP-XI3RDPARTY and deployed it again using JSPM. Now jar deployed in folder sap.com~SAP-XI3RDPARTY~com.dap.adapter.lib/lib rather than com.dap.adapter.lib/lib. So I removed property Software Component and tried to deploy again but now showing the problem

Unable to scan using feeder on Envy 5300

I am trying to scan multiple pages using the feeder but when using the HP Scan Utility the option to changer from 'Flatbed' source is greyed out and can't be changed.
Any advice on how to change this or use an alterative scan method to scan a multi-page document to PDF using the feeder?

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I noticed that you are unable to scan using the feeder on your HP Envy 5300 printer. I am happy to look into this scanning issue for you!
The reason to change from the flatbed to the feeder is greyed out, is due to the mechanical function of the printer. This printer does not have a feeder to scan multiple pages at once, only a flatbed scanner.
According to this guide, Scanning with the Full Feature HP Software in OS X v10.10 Yosemite, select Scanning a multi-page original into a single file, follow the instructions for scanner glass. If your printer does not have an ADF and you are scanning a multi-page document, you will need to load each page on the scanner glass one at a time to scan the document.

Unable to apply SPS23 Java Stack using JSPM

i'm having serious trouble getting JSPM to apply SPS23 for Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1. JSPM always rejected the XML file downloaded from Solution Manager or OSS. There are two different scenarios.
1. JSPM can't find ISDOTNET8SP01_00-10007435.SAR in EPS/in. When i copy the file to EPS/in he rejected to apply the stack because ISDOTNET8SP01_00-10007435.SAR isn't a valid SCA file. How smart JSPM is.
2. Tried a xml stack definition file downloaded from OSS. Now JSPM rejected to apply because he couldn't find new versions of the component. The log file (SCAN...) says : ...WARNING The same or newer version of software component BASETABLES and vendor sap.com is deployed on the system. The release and version of the software component, which is found in the Inbox directory, are 7.01 and 6.0, and the release and version of the software component, which is deployed on the system, are 7.00 and 14.0.
Know, it though 7.01 is newer than 7.00 but JSPM thinks different. As the message is the same for all components in the end JSPM didn't find anything to apply and rejected the complete stack. Trying to apply as single stack wasn't successful too as he didn't find any target SP Level.
Any clue ?
We urgently need to complete the EHP1 update to start the ERP 6.0 upgrade which would already be finished if not for Solution Manager requirement to download the EHP4 stack.

Solution found !
You need to update JSPM at least to 7.00 SP17 (7.00.17. Note 1280791).
Restart JSPM, apply Stack which will update JSPM to 7.01.6.0.
Restart JSPM nd now the rest of the Stack could be upgraded to 7.01.6.0.
JSPM 7.00.14.3 or lower will not recognize the JSPM 7.01.6.0 update SCA which is need in order to update the other components to 7.01.6 as well.

Unable to Connect Using New AirPort Express 802.11n

My mom purchased an AirPort Express 802.11n wireless router (AX) and I, as the designated "technology guru", was tasked with setting it up. Unfortunately, I am having problems out of the box.
When I connect it to the wall, it is found by AirPort Utility, but when I try to set it up, it is unable to connect to the wireless network. ("An error occurred joining the selected wireless network." "An error occurred, close the configuration window and try again.") This is annoying because I have an older AX and it was true to the "it just works" Apple mantra. It is also annoying because the error message has a comma splice.
Feeling pretty proud of my "technology guru" title, I come here to see what I could be doing wrong. I try connecting the computer directly to the router via ethernet cable. With this, I am able to setup my wireless network. I am still not able to connect to it. Additionally, once the AX has been configured, the AirPort Utility can't find it.
I tried updating firmware to 7.5.2. I've tried downgrading to 7.3.2. I've tried hard resets, soft resets. Every tip I could find I have tried. Please help. My self-confidence is wearing out.

Are you trying to configure the Express to "join" the wireless network?
If yes, the message you are receiving is likely an indication that you do not have the correct security settings selected for the Express. Unless the security settings between the wireless router and Express match up exactly, the Express will display the error that "an error occurred, etc".
The easiest way to confirm if you have this problem is temporarily set the main wireless router to "no security" and try to connect the Express that way. If you can connect, then you know that it is a security issue.
Please tell us the exact setting for security that the wireless router there is using and we'll try to give you some more ideas.
The Express will connect. It's just a matter of finding the right settings.
