Unable to export par to portal

Question

I am trying to export my helloword to the portal but getting the error message below in the log.
I did try going direct to http://servername:50000/irj/ but this brought back an error message "The requested resource does not exist." This means that the irj I presume is not installed.
What is the irj? How is it installed?
I have changed the servername, username and password below.

IRJ -- Iview Runtime Java
This is the runtime for portal, and it looks like you have only JEE Server and portal is not installed on your system.
So if portal is not installed you cannot deploy any par files.
