I have hp pavillion g6 series notebook model no. 2302 ax few days ago when i tried to reinstall the window the lappy went shut down and the window crashed now i m trying to boot the system but all the tym lappy goes shut down and i have tried with all the operating systems so please help me out by providing the correct resolution......

Actually a software was not running so i just tried to reinstall the window but unfortunately the lappy went shut down now the problems are everytym when i try to boot the system it goes shut down and some keys are also not functioning are these the symptoms of motherboard failure.... Can motherboard be repaired

I just bought a 1TB Iomega USB Desktop hard drive, but once I tried to reformat the drive, it's only showing 1x 500GB drive instead of 1TB. I am not sure if there is a malfunctioned hard drive or there is a way to fix it in the disk utilities. Please help!

Hi,
from waht I know the 1TB drive consist physically of two 500GB harddisks.
So it sounds as if you have either only formated one of the drives or the 1TB drive is set to the 'Mirroring' modus in which the two HDs inside act like a mirror of one to the other, which results in the capacity being cut to 500GB.
Have a look inside the Iomega manual to determine how to use it with your Mac for full capacity of 1TB.

Unable to format 400gb HD - Urgent Help Please!

I have installed a new 400gb Seagate Barracuda HD and set it as a slave drive on my KT4V motherboard.
My problem is that although I can see it registering ( fully - 372gb )in the bios and under disk management, I get a "Windows is unable to complete format" message when format ( quick/or full ) is attempted.
I read that this motherboard can only recognise upto 160gb due to lack of 48bit LBA support, but am confused by reading other peoples problems tending to be that they can see only a limited amount of space on their large drive while I can see it all but am unable to format.
Will a PCI IDE card resolve this issue. If so does anyone know what spec are required.

My drives are jumpered correctly for CS.
Also placed in the desired order on the IDE lead of Samsung 40GB = Master and Seagate 400gb = Slave.
My problem remains that I am unable to format the slave drive from within the 40gb windows OS via the windows explorer, Disk Management, command prompt, EASEUS.
Does any one know why/how this could be the case? Bearing in mind it did format when set as the master and booting from the XP sp2 install cd.
I'm going to have to reinstall windows to the 400gb and see if I can make the 40gb the slave. Which I did not try previously as that would have meant swapping the drives around in their bays. It was also not my preferred option.
Will have to do it tomorrow. Will post back my results.

The iTunes Store sells songs in AAC format. Most Android phones can play AACs. Just sync them to your phone per the instructions with the phone.
If by any chance your phone does require MP3 format, you can use iTunes to convert the files, per this guide:
iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format - Apple Support
(This conversion does not require burning.)
For future reference, note that the iTunes Store is really optimized for people using Apple devices. You might find it more convenient to buy music in Mp3 format from Amazon Digital Music or Google Play Music.

It could be an indication or a damaged or dying hard drive. I would recommend doing a disk diagnostic on the iPod's HD using the instructions given by turingtest2 in this older thread. He also covers what the resulting numbers indicate.

What's the version of your SSIS? Please refer to the following methods to solve this issue:
Hard code the path of SQL Server 2008's DTEXEC while calling the SSIS package as shown below:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn\DTEXEC.exe /F "D:\MyFolder\MyPackage.dtsx"
Rename the old exe in the 2005 path to a different name (Example:- C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn\DTEXEC_Old.exe)
Go to PATH environmental variable and edit it in such a way that "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn" path appears well before the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn" path.

When trying to reformat my 5th gen Ipod classic, windows tells me that it is "unable to complete the format". Help?

My Ipod started making the frowny face at me and telling me to go to support, I plugged it in to my PC and was told that the device needed to be reformatted. I attempted to do so, the quick format fails right away, and when I try to do a regular format, i get the same message after a longer wait; "windows is unable to complete the format". Has anyone encountered this before, any suggestions?

Check your Hardisk, using Disk diagnostic, posted by tt2, it will tell you if your hardisk need to replaced
There are some 3rd party hardisk repairs, which you can try.like EaseUS partiton.

Unable to format CD-RW disc on Satellite P series notebook

I am trying to format a batch of CD-RW discs.
Laptop almost seems to complete the formatting but an eventual icon appears stating Windows was unable to complete formatting the disc.
Any suggestions would be a help and also an explanation as to why i was able to format a standard CD-R disc no problem.

Check the iPod Hardisk, with DiskDiagnostic as posted here by tt2

It wont fix your problem, but help us both, in troubleshooting, and reducing frivolous suggestions.
If your report says high Realloc or Pending Sector, then it's time to have your hardisk replaced.

I am having a requirement where I need to align the report output according to the Pr-printed Chekc Format which is loaded in the printer.
In detail we have a pre-printed format of the cheque which will be loaded into the printer which includes the logo and the amount fields with the symbol of currency,date etc.
I need to print the output which is runned by formating the payment batch.I am getting the output printed but not in the exact palces where I need.I tried to modify the report fields by increasing the length and width of the main section but of no use.Can any one help me out at the earliest.
I am getting the output either out of the symbol of currency and even the date as well.

Can you explain briefly the below point which you have mentioned.
"Also set the increase the size of fields upon the size of pre-printed area and set the horizontal Elasticity to FIXED. Then align and print."I meant that increase the size of fields according to the size of pre-printed document and set the horizontal elasticity to FIXED so it will not go out from the desired space.
Well, this is what i said you will have to set the alignment and will have to check by printing again. There is no specified format of pre-printed document type reports.
