Unable to import Development Configuration at the NWDS

Hello,
I am trying to import a Development Configuration at the NWDS after successfully created a track.
When I do that I receive this error message:
Client J2E_APPL_D: absoluteLocalRoot
(='C:\workspaceDC\1\') is already used by another client.
1. I am the only one who is using this Development Configuration.
2. There is no such folder 1 under my workspaceDC folder.
Why is this happening and what can I do to solve it?

Thank you very much Pascal.
Problem solved indeed.
For some reason it is possible to give points at the moment but I promise I'll do that once it will be corrected.

    Hi Joachim,
I have the same problem when I tried to import development configuration. It throws the CMSCFinderException.
Have you solved it since you last posted. If it's solved, would you like to post the solution. Maybe it will help me too.
    Thank you!

I own Lightroom 4 and have updated the software however, I am unable to import images taken on the Sony A6000. I have also updated the raw converter and am still having this issue.

You can either upgrade to Lightroom 5.4 or later, or use the free Adobe DNG Converter version 8.6 to convert your RAW photos to DNG, which then will import into Lightroom 4.

  • Importing Development Configurations in NWDS

    Hi All,
I am using NWDS for ESS Development. I need to import the development configurations to my local installation. When I choose the remote option and tried to connect to the JDI DC pool link. All the preferences settings for J2EE and JDI have been done.
I get an error saying " Getting Imput Stream failed " Unable to open connection to <dtr> Port .......CMS Exception ............
Please help me what is a problem in this. Do I need to have any access permission to do this.. I have a user id to DTR.
    Thanks,
    Sangeetha

    Hi Abhijit,
Thanks for the direction. Really the mentioned thread , it is very helpful.
I checked the CMS Connectivity. In CMS for this particular track, I am not able to find out the Development tab entries. I am not clear about this.
Entries here does it depends upon the individual user id access issue ? because this track was being used for development already by earlier users.
What kind  of permission I do require to get this corrected in CMS.
Any hints would be really helpful.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
Then check whether the dependencies are missing in SLD between Development Configuration (Design Time Configuration) and CMS
Select the problematic Design Time Configuration from the SLD->Administration -> Content Maintenance ->  Landscape Description and see in details whether Associated Instances  is '0'. If so, delete and set proper dependencies as per the JDI installation doc.
Then from the CMS, save the affected track. If 'restore system state' is asked for, do it after saving.
Thereafter, import dev. config in NWDS should work fine.

  • JDI: Cannot import development configuration into NWDS

    Hi everyone!
I am trying to setup and use the Scenario 2+ for the JDI.
    So far, I have
    1) created users and roles for the JDI
    2) created a software component called com.company/WeekNumber
    3) created a domain and a track in the CMS
    4) imported required SCs for the system
    All according to help.sap.com.
Now, when I start the NWDS I would like to import the development configuration to be able to start developing my components. But when I try to import the configuration, I get the error
com.sap.tc.devconf.SyncException: Import configuration failed:Could not create mountpoint for SC in compartment nordea.com_WEEKNUMBER_1: Checking existence failed for /dtr/ws/Week/nordea.com_WEEKNUMBER/dev/inactive/SCs/nordea.com/WEEKNUMBER/_comp/TopLevelDCs/(Internal Server Error)
    Please advise.
    Best regards, Peter

It solved itself after a restart of the NWDS. :o)

  • Getting an error while importing Development Configuration file (NW 2.0)

    i,
while importing a development configuration file for Webdynpro (  SAP NW 2.0 ), i am getting an error
"Getting Input Stream Failed-> Unable to find the host ..."
But i can ping to the server and tr is also working .
i could see Active and Inactive Objects
Any access permission is needed to download a configuration file.
or whatis the reason for this error.
any preconditions have to be done for importing a configuration file ?

    You can try the following:
    1. try the fully qualified domain name of the DTR server host in NWDS Preferences->Development Configuration.
    2. Are your WAS and JDI are on a higher SP level. That may cause the problem

  • SAP NW Developer Studio: Problem with Import Development Configuration(DC)

    Dear Experts!
I have a problem with SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio when import a Developement Configuration.
I create a Software Component(SC) in SLD( with Dependencies:  SAP J2EE Engine, SAP Java Tech Service, DI BUILD TOOL, Then I create a Development Configuration(DC) and add this SC.
On SAP Netweaver  Developer  Studio I import this DC. I see on the Component Browser My DC include: my software conponent , and SCs: SAPJEE, SAP_BUILDT, SAP_JTECHS but in DC detail there are nothing. So I cannot create the Development Component
Please help me resolve this issue.
    Thanks all

    Hi,
you cannot see the DCs (for SCs like SAPBUILDT, JTECHS, JEE, etc) in NWDS, because there is nothing imported into the buildspace(s) DEV (and cons).
You need to go to the http://<host>:<port>/devinf -- CMS webui, to the Transport Studio, go to the Check-in tab, and check-in all the software you can see in the queue (which you have also added previously in SLD for your software) . This is a quick process, you'll see your software moved to the Development tab and waiting for import.
Import all the components. This can take longer. As soon as all of them finished, you can open up your NWDS again. In order to see the DCs this time when you expand the corresponding node, you need to reimport (but at least) update the development configuration  (you do it in NWDS in the context menu of the development config in question).
    Best Regards,
    Ervin

  • Development Configurations in the SLD

When a track is created, its Development Configuration is stored in the SLD. I can see this activity in the SLD's Server log, but I don't see otherwise where I can see a list of Development Configurations stored in the SLD. Anyone?

    Hello Randy,
On the SLD main page navigate to Content Browser. On the subsequent page in the <b>subset</b> select "All Classes" and in the class dropdown select "Design Time Configuration". All the development configurations will be listed.
Hope this is what you were looking for.

    Hi Harish.
I have ran into this problem. It seems to be solved if I browse to my DTR with Internet Explorer ( i.e. http://server:50000/dtr ) and sign on using the username and password.
If you are doing uninstall/install, make sure you wipe away the .dtr and .dtc directories under your "Documents and Settings" files as they keep information from the syncDB that makes reinstalling netweaver a moot point.

  • Importing Snow Configuration to the Airport Extreme Base station

Is it possible to import the Snow's airport saved 'base config' and 'access control list' files to the Airport Extreme Base Station when setting up the extreme? I'm considering upgrading my wireless system. I have 4 XPs and 4 Macs and would prefer not to have to re-enter any of this data or loose any downtime reconfiguring all my computers.

As far as I am aware this is not possible.
However if you configure the Airport Extreme BEFORE you turn off the Snow the downtime should be minimal.
From a security perspective, unless you have Macs running 10.2 or earlier and/or your PC wireless adapters don't support it, all you really need to do is implement WPA for a secure wireless network.
Personally to avoid potential issues I would create a completely new wireless network with a new network name. Some clients have issues with joining a new wireless network with the same network name as a previous network, especially one with a password.

(IDoc<-->PI<-->SOAP using BPM (Multiple sync calls)).
We are un able to import IDoc into NW BPM project as a service Interface. (For BPM we exported IDoc into local system as an external definition and did few modifications to the xsd as per below blog and exported back to PO server as an external definition.Create Service Interface for the same .
    http://scn.sap.com/community/process-orchestration/blog/2014/09/24/idoc-to-nw-bpm-scenario#comment-542653 )
We are getting below exception while importing IDoc Service Interface into BPM project.I have attached IDoc WSDL file for your reference.Could you please share your expertise on this issue.
