Unable to initiate BPM process despite using script task

Hi,
I've created a BPMN process which I want to initiate through a script task - I followed the steps given in section 3.7 of the following doc -

but after deploying this process, when I go to BPM workspace using my user's login, I don't see my BPM process under list of applications. What could be wrong?

How to load data into table Using Script Task

We have a directory/folder where we have a file. We need to insert the File Created Date , File Name , Extension into the database table of Sql server by using Script Task.
So could you please suggest , how to frame the connection string , fetch the file details and insert the data into the database table using Script Task of SSIS 2008

You can achieve it as follows using standard script task
1. Add a ForEachLoop container to point to your directory to iterate though the files. Add a variable of type string inside loop to get file name of each file it iterates. Choose option Filename and extension. Add a variable to just store extension part
(FileExtension), set EValuateAsExpression true for it and give expression as below
SUBSTRING(@[User::FileName],FINDSTRING(@[User::FileName],".",1)+1,LEN(@[User::FileName]))
2. Add a script task inside loop and pass filename variable as a read only variable to it. Crete a new variable to get creationdate and pass it as ReadWrite. Inside write code as below

Unable to Trigger BPM Process from ECC --- Need Help

I have created a BPM and exposed the Process as a web service. Now when ECC team is trying to trigger the BPM through the provided Web Service, they are getting the below error.
Issue is that the messages fails in ECC with the Status u201CSystem Erroru201D and this is due to reason below :
"The RM Source endpoint requests this acknowledgement by including an
<AckRequested> header block in the message. An RM Destination that
receives a message that contains an <AckRequested> header block MUST
respond with a message containing a <SequenceAcknowledgement> header
block" (Web Services Reliable Messaging Protocol 1.0).

I am trying with sample client which is invoking proxy exported wsdl. But i am always getting echoed request. Any suggestions on how to call BPMProcess inside service bus?

Unable to call BPM process webserivce from Proxy in oracle Service bus

I created business service in oracle service bus through BPM process WSDL. later Created proxy out of business service. In proxy service MessageFlow I created a route node with service as my BPM process business service. When i invoke proxy I am always getting the following error.

Unable to open BPM Processes in Jdev post 11,1.1.5 patch BPM PS4 FP

Hi All ,
We applied the BPM FP PS4 patch on top of our Jdev 11.1.1.5 installation as per the instructions here -

But after that we are not open to see the BPM Process in Jdeveloper at all , something which was working fine before we installed the patch.
Has anyone faced this issue before or knows what should be done please ?

1. After applying FP to JDeveloper, we did not face any issues. We could still open our old processes, business rules etc everything from BPM Project Navigator tab.
2. So I guess you applied both the below patches to the JDev. In JDev, select your workflow project -> Right click -> Project Properties. In this select Libraries and Classpath and make sure all the modules are in proper and none of them are like in Red Color. Red color means that module location is not found like that.

3. One quick test, create a new test bpm app with one bpm project with all defaults. Then open this newly created bpm process. This wil make sure if your JDev and the new patch is applied correctly or not. Acutally after applying FP, when you open process in the central window on top you will see a new Row with new compoments like Activity, Mail etc on top left corner.
4. If newly created one works, then check your old project and its properties like that.
5. Finally, when you try to open it, and if it fails, it should show some error message in the bottom status window. Look what it says.
We have not faced any issues like this after upgrading to FP.

Using Script Task to rename an excel sheet.

I'm trying to use an SSIS Script Task to rename an excel sheet.
I've found several code samples on the net but most don't compile correctly and my knowledge of VB.net or C# isin't strong enough to fix the issues. I suspect they work but not for SSIS 2012 possibly.
Found the sample below which shows no errors at design time, but fails with an Invocation error so I'm unable to even trap what the error is to help in resolving the issue.
Does anyone have any sample code that they KNOW WORKS in SSIS 2012 or can see what the problem is ?

Why do you need a script task for this? You can define the sheetname at the time of data transfer itself by creating a new sheet with required name

Triggering BPM Process without using Guest

Hi All,
I am triggering BPM web service from webdynpro from java. This is giving error message :
Server Exception: Guest, is not allowed to start a process.; nested exception is:
javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException: Guest, is not allowed to start a process.
[EXCEPTION]
How to start BPM web service with a logged in user id in place of Guest? I do not want to give BPM role to Guest user.

Thanks for your answer. As per note : "Web service endpoints with incorrect security settings or service calls without provided credentials will result in an error message telling that "Guest, is not allowed to start a process".

HCM Process & form using scripts to - clear a field on a button click

Hi Experts,
I created a validation routine and only need to call it when the check and send button is pressed. I read a blog and
tried to ceated a flag but I am not sure which to use form calc or javascript. Any way, I tried and I get an error.
How do I blank out the field using an adobe form via form calc or javascript? Below is my error message.

I see that this is a very old thread, but perhaps you are still intrested ....
You have mixed formcalc and javascript in the same event. You cannot mix the script languages within the same event. Simply write without the ; and it should work fine.
this.rawValue = ""
If you are triggering a server round trip, then remember to set the value after the server round trip.

Oracel BPm Question: Unable to start BPM Process Web Service

I was trying to create a new webservice interface for a BPM proces. However When I try to access the WSDL I ran into this issue:

Replace the {WebLogicMachineName} and} {WebLogic Port} with your WebLogic host and port. Replace the {EngineName} with the BPM engine name shown in the Oracle BPM admin console under Engines.

Unable to start BPm process

Hi
I have a process model with a start process (wsdl which takes some inputs) and then next task assigned to a dynamic user based on inputs in start process.
While I try to start the process manually from nwa by giving inputs i see teh error "Failed to start the process; Process manager adapter may not be started; error= com.sap.glx.adapter.api.AdapterException: Process start failed due to TransitionException"
This error pops up randomly whenever I change some user mapping at the second level task (not start process and next task)
Any clues?

Bulk Insert using Script Task in SSIS

Hi guys,
Please I have about 300Million rows of data I want to load from a remote SQL server into another SQL server. The problem is that the data takes forever to load and I have a time line.
I was wondering if there is a way in can do bulk insert for this or maybe if I can get a code that I can use to load the data faster.
Please I really need your help as my job depends on this.
