Unable to load "ejb.jar" to database
Hi All,
I am trying to load ejb.jar to database by using the following syntax.
loadjava -verbose -force -resolve -oracleresolver -user <uname>/<password>@<server>:<port>:<sid> -t ejb.jar
But it is showing error :
ksh: loadjava : not found.
In the server when i type loadjava it is showing the options, means loadjava will work i think. Is there any configuration needs to change to load ejb.jar to database ?
Machine details :
AIX 64 Bit 5.3
DB : Oracle 11g 11.2.0.2.0
Appreciated your help in this.
Thanks,
Prakash

Hi,
I did the following
export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin
Then
loadjava -verbose -force -resolve -oracleresolver -user <Uname>/<Pwd>@<Server>:<Port>:<Sid> -t ejb.jar
But still i m facing the same issue.
Even the .profile also we have defined : export PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/bin/
Can you please point me what is missing in the above steps i followed.
Thanks,
Prakash
PLEASE use COPY & PASTE so we can see exactly what you do & response from OS/Oracle
what is "-t" arguement?

at weblogic.ejb.container.deployer.EJBModule.init(EJBModule.java:313)Hi Ten,
FYI, just by placing the ejb jar inside EAR project it will not be picked up for deployment. The EJB module has to be defined on EAR Module Assembly, and the steps are:
> EAR Project | Properties, Deployment Assembly - Add EJB module
NOTE: To verify the dependency you could try to export the EAR project to an .ear file. If the exported .ear file bundles ejb jar then deployment should work fine.
As far as the deployment mode, OEPE supports WebLogic Split-source (default) and Exploded archive. In the default split-source mode, the .beabuild.txt contains the mapping to the actual files whereas in exploded archive the files are copied over to deployment staging location.
Steps to modify deployment mode:
> In the server view, right click on server configuration | Properties, select WebLogic | Publishing
Please make sure the ejb module is defined appropriately and let me know if this resolves the issue.
Thanks,

>Thank YouHi,
It seems one of your ejb jar is missing from the current file location.
D:\dev\workspaces\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\.projects\itr-ear\beadep\citron_domain\itr-ear\split_src
you can make it manually copied to this location and build the project again so that it can able to deploy propertly.
Now one more thing you can do open a ticket with oracle support for better assistance.

Error while Loading Mail.jar in Database
Hi,
I am trying to load mail.jar in Oracle 8i Database(ver. 8.1.5.0.0). It is giving error insufficient previleges. Then I extracted mail.jar and tried to load class PasswordAuthentication of mail.jar in user scott. It gave me same error. But I could load the same class in user SYS.
Does it mean that, scott needs some special previleges for the classes in mail.jar. If so, How can I set those previleges ?
Thanking You.
Mrinal.
nullrdbms 8.1.5 had very tight restrictions on loading "system classes.
check the java doc for 8.1.5 on this.
check out the following
"protected packages" in the following
http://otn.oracle.com/doc/server.815/a64682/04jserve.htm#1001015
Protected Packages
You cannot replace system classes (those that CREATE JAVA SYSTEM installs, which you invoke with initjvm.sql at database initialization time). In addition, classes in any package (or sub-package) in which system classes reside, can be created only in the SYS schema. Protected packages include those starting with the patterns:
java
javax
oracle.aurora
oracle.jdbc
oracle.rdbms
oracle.sqlj
oracle.sqlnet
oracle.vm
oracle.weak
sun.tools
sun.misc
sun.net
com.visigenic.vbroker
com.sun.jndi
org.omg
sqlj
by the way 8.1.5 went out of support on dec 31, 2000. you need to consider moving to 8.1.7.

Note:The same jar is deployed into Weblogic 5.1 and was working fine .....
so please if any solutions .....
regards,
SapHi sapthapathi,
From the information u have provided, i can only guess, that
the problem is in ur code...Not in ejb-jar.xml....
'coz there is no problem in combining stateless session bean and CMP entity bean information in a single ejb-jar.xml file...i myself have deployed bunch of CMPs with stateless session beans..
So please check ur code once again....

Unable to create ejb.jar file.
how do we create an ejb.jar file in j2ee explorer.
I am not able to see the option <i>Build Ejb.jar</i>
in the context menu when i click on my ejb project
Regards
Naresh Garghi Naresh,
There is option called EJB Archive this option builds your EJB. if your trying to create Web Module Project you can only create WAR file .

Unable to load sqljdbc4.jar driver in PI 7.4
Hi all, I'm facing an issue while loading the jdbc adapter (sqljdbc4.jar) with the SUM in PI 7.4. I downloaded the driver from Download Microsoft JDBC Driver 4.0 for SQL Server from Official Microsoft Download Center and followed the steps in note 1138877 - How to Deploy External Drivers JDBC/JMS Adapters, for the deploy.
Checking note 1829286 - PI: How to check which drivers are installed for the JMS and JDBC Adapters, I see that the loaded driver is not the one I'm trying to load.
The SDA I used to load the driver is the SAPXI3RDPARTY06_0-20009965 (com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda)
Anyone faced this issue before?
Thanks in advance,
Jesus RodriguezHI,
Is your JDBC adapter shown in communication channel?
I have deployed JDBC driver(sqljdbc4.jar) according tohttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/00b4a020-4ae6-2c10-5a95-fed4ad9a4b60?QuickLink=index&… .
Driver deployed successfully and I have checked it in folder \usr\sap\xxx\DVEBMGS30\j2ee\cluster\bin\ext\com.sap.aii.adapter.lib\lib and it's found ok. But this adapter type not showing in Communication Channel only RFC and SOAP are showing there. I have restarted the server also. -
Error in starting an EAR containing EJBs : Unable to prepare EJB
I am using ANT build script to create and deploy EAR on WAS server.
This EAR file packages EJB jar file inside it.
I am using WAS 5.1.1 Test Environment from IBM RAD 6.0.
When deployment is done, the application is not in Started status.
If I try to start it from web-based admin console, I get error given below.
I examined the missing classes.
Error CNTR0075E could not find: EJSStatelessSurveyManagerHomeBean_a1e88e5e
Error WSVR0209E could not find: EJSStatelessSurveyManagerHomeBean_00693296
When I checked the deployed EAR file, I could locate EJSStatelessSurveyManagerHomeBean_a1e88e5e in the EJB jar file inside the EAR file. I carefully checked the full qualified name. It is there.
But the other one (classname ending with 00693296) is not there.
What are these numbers? Are these any ref ids in some xml file (web.xml, ejb-jar.xml, etc)?
When I searched web based forums for these error codes, I tried varius solutions [e.g. Generate Deploy Code and RMIC, etc] but nothing seems to work :-(
Is there any solution to it?
Thanking in advance.

Please suggest a solution to this error.
Note that the class specified in the error is in its package. So this doesn't seems to be exact error. Please suggest.Hi,
I have faced same problem most of time and resolved ot by recompileing my all the classes and new deployment descriptors. First you should make new java files for all clases(copy contents fron old java files ) and make anew package same as old and then do all the required process and re deploy it. I think because of some problem in class generation. -
Unable to load database connector - using JRC w/report connecting to Oracle
A simple Java program was created to test a Crystal Report using JRC. The Java program is a thick-client Swing desktop application (modified from an example of crxi_r2_migrating_rdc_to_jrc.pdf). The program failed to execute the report with the following error:
Unable to load database connector u2018com.crystaldecisions.reports.queryengine.driverImpl.DriverLoader'
It might be something simple to correct the problem, but I am not able to find related answers in the documentation and from the forum.
CR version is XI R2. The Java program was compiled and run using jdk1.4.2_13. Oracle is 10.2.
Do I have to use JDBC? or the CR Oracle driver will do? What needs to be setup? If I use JDBC, what do I need to setup (I tried to following the links in the forums or other documentation, but most of the links to http://support.businessobjects.com/.... are broken - i.e. re-route to the SAP support page but not directly linked to the articles)
When the report JRCTestReport.rpt was saved with the option "Save Data With Report", it works fine. So the problem is only with Oracle database driver, the other jars are fine.
In the report JRCTestReport.rpt the database properties are:
DatabaseDLL crdb_oralce.dll
Password
Server myTestDB
Trusted_Connection False
User ID MyUser
The crdb_oracle.dll is located at:
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\bin
Files are stored in the following tree structure:
<Testing Folder>

Unable to load database connector
Hi. I am trying to get a report running through the JRC in Crystal Reports XI. Whenever I try to run the report, it pulls up the viewer, but then gets the following message:
"Unable to load database Connector"
'com.crystaldecisions.reports.queryengine.driverImpl.DriverLoader'
I was under the impression that I didn't need to set any JDBC parameters because it would pull them from the report. Is there some sort of configuration I missed?
Thanks for any help.hello,
I have got the same problem.
Java don't find the class DriverLoader in any jar.
I have found it on the CrystalDatabaseConnector.jar (an old jar) but that's makes some problems of compatibility when I use it.
I have to add CrystalQueryEngine.jar (another old version jar) to work with it and i've got an java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError: Implementing class

Problem while loading a jar file into database
Hi All,
We are using Oracle 8.1.5 in Solaris. When I try to load a jar file into the database by using loadjava it gives the following error
Error while processing jar cryptix32.jar
Exception java.io.IOException: Load Java is unable to handle compressed entries: cryptix/provider/Cryptix.class

Can anybody suggest anything to overcome this. Thanks in advance.<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by John Emmer ([email protected]):

Hi John,
Thanks for your help. I unpacked the jar and rhen re-jared it with -0 (uncompress ) option. The above error is gone. But I am getting another problem. I am getting the following error for all the classes except the property files.
Error while resolving class cryptix/cryptix/provider/cipher/Rijndael
ORA-04043: object cryptix/cryptix/provider/cipher/Rijndael does not exist
But the class is there in the jar. I am able to load single individual classes. Can anybody help me in this matter. Thanks in advance. -

SWPM - System Copy - Assertion Failed Unable to load database
Hello again,
(already the next question form me, sorry for this
I am executing a sysetm copy (DB-refresh) on ASE using SWPM.
However, in "Configure Components" step I get the error: Assertion failed. Unable to load database <SID of Target Sysetm>.
Where else can I check for errors?
I think it is still something on which I already worked (with other thread).
In sapinst_dev.log I found this

Creating file /tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW731/SYB/COPY/SYSTEM/STD/AS-ABAP/REF/instslana.xml.Hello Kiran,
I did a few tests again yesterday, and it was really a stupid mistake from myside.
The error message did mean, that there wasn't enough space.
It isn't the authority issue, it was a leak of space.
FYI, the complete DB-Size of Source System is required - NOT JUST RESERVED SPACE!!!
Thx for help and sorry for stealing your time :O
