Unable to read WSDL
i'm having problems invoking web services in CF.
Whenever i try to invoke a web service through CreateObject(), i get an error that says it can't read the WSDL from the specified URL, but the URL is correct and if i check it in my browser i can see the WSDL right there.
And if i try to add the web service through the Administrator i get an error message that reads "Error creating web service. Please ensure that you have entered a correct Web Service name or URL."
I can add the web service without a problem in CF9 and i already tried changing the web service version but no dice
Hi,
Could you check in the exception.log for any stacktraces? If possible, you can share me your WSDL.I will try to register the service and let you know.
Thanks,
Paul

This is my first web service. I thought I read that the
service registers itself when first run, but it's just not jumping
for me. I'd try registering it, but I'm not sure how to fill in all
the blanks in the CF Administrator's Register Web Service form.
I believe I'm doing this pretty plain and simple. Any ideas
why this won't work? Tried both methods, both give the same error
-- "Unable to read WSDL from URL"
Calling URL:
http://prod.trollsoftware.com/echotest.cfm
Is looking at:
http://prod.trollsoftware.com/trollws.cfc?wsdl
which looks fine to me, but what do I know? This is my
first....
RLSI found this wonderful forum post
{HERE}">http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=7&threadid=881689[/S
and have been tyring to get it to run without removing the "/"
mapping in case that would "break" something on my production
server. I've tried hard to get Approach #2 to work as listed in
that item, but to no avail. I can almost always see the XML code,
but CF never wants to find it as an object reference.
To answer your questions -- and thank you for your help on
this! --
1. Yes. I can see the XML code just fine.
2. No. I get unknown host, connection failure, status not
available.
3. Doesn't work with IP, but that was expected as there are
many domains on this server, not just this one.
So, to continue, I thought I'd back up and try it on my CF7
server. The program runs from here [
http://www.saphea.com/echotest.cfm
against the WSDL/CFC file here [
http://components.findaportal.com/wsdl/trollws.cfc?wsdl
I can see the XML file just fine, but the echotest does not work
(code attached).
I created a mapping of "/wsdl" to
"d:\clients\components\wsdl" in trying to emulate Approach #2, and
created a web subdomain of
http://components.findaportal.com
to "d:\clients\components", but no dice. Approach #2 may have to be
abandoned.
Why would it work for you and not me? That's the weird part.

Unable to read the WSDL in OWSM
Hello Everyone,
Iam trying to register BPEL Process on OWSM but it gives me error saying unable to find the WSDL error.
When I test the Web Service directly from the Web Page it does Load the WSDL on the Test Page.
But the moment the wsdl is wrapped with virtualized wsdl it does give the following error
Failed to read WSDL from http://192.168.190.47:9700/ccore/TestGateway/services/SID0003003?wsdl:WSDL not found
As per the troubleshooting document this error could occur for 2 reasons
1. If the Gateway is not registered properly on the Gateway.properties file.
2. If there is proxy or firewall issue.
Since the Service is local to the same server i dont see any firewall or proxy issue and i did check the Gateway properties file where the Gateway ID is register.I do see the ID present on the file.
Can someone tell what might be the issue ?

SabirHi Sab2

WebService "Unable to load WSDL" error
I need some help with this strange problem
I have a web service that i call from Flex 3
<mx:WebService id="dataTowns" wsdl="
http://localhost:2008/SqlData.asmx?WSDL"
result="objectTowns(event)" fault="faultHandler(event)"
showBusyCursor="true"/>
Not every time but 40% of the time i would get an error. Web
services are running on my local machine and i run web service
using Visual Studio 2005. Funny thing is that even if i get this
error data still loads in flex. So when i run application from flex
i sometime get an error and some time i don't and works fine. Some
times after the error i restart the webservices and works fine
again. I run Windows Vista i don't know if that has anything to do
with this.
Here is the error :

Unable to load wsdl. if currently online please verify the uri and or format of the wsdl
Hi,
i have one aspx page in which i have embeded an swf object,
which calls webservice to load data,
it works fine on localhost,
but when uploaded it gives the error no 2032 stream error ,
i added the crossdomain.xml in the root project then that error was gone and found the following error,
"unable to load wsdl. if currently online please verify the uri and or format of the wsdl"
Can anybody help me with this?
Any elp or suggestion will be appriciated.
Thank You.
BhavikaI had the same error message and I believe I added the -use-network=true to the additional compiler arguments to fix the problem. The default value for this should be true.
Sorry if this doesn't help...It's just a guess. -
Hello,
I created a method in AM AMImpl.java class. For that method i created a service interface. In service interface folder i tested web service serviceImpl.java file. But it is unable to read the wsdl document. This might be the reason why i am unable to create the webservice proxy to that wsdl url. A popup is coming with message
*"The web Service tester can not be invoked because the wsdl document of the selected service can not be read"*
Can any one please help me figuring out this problem.
Thanks in Advance,
Krishna Sumanth. To test your WS select the service impl java file and right click on it. Select run or debug (whichever suits your need). The internal WLS gets started and the service gets deployed. In the log window of jdev you'll see an 'Target URL' which you can click on. This will bring up the http analyzer which you use to do your testing.

Server was unable to read request. RuntimeFaultMessage
Hi, I'm trying to orchestate a .Net web service that receives a String... the String that this .Net web service receives is called "xml" and it represents a xml like this "<rc><ho>hjh</ho><h><h1>hj>/h1><h2>hjh</h2></h></rc>"
When I instantiate the call of this web service through BPEL I get this error:
web_rc_asmx (ReporteRC) (faulted)
[2004/09/22 12:31:04] "{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}bindingFault" has been thrown. Less
faultName: {{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}bindingFault}
messageType: {{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}RuntimeFaultMessage}
code: {Client}
summary: {Server was unable to read request. --> There is an error in XML document (3, 114). --> 'Element' is an invalid node type. Line 3, position 114.}
parts: {{}}
The xml string that receives is good because I have tried it directry from the web service page.. or even calling it from an stub/skeleton.. Any idea what could be wrong???

I am unable to trace the defect . can anybody please tell me what could be the reason. I have checked the table PA0022, there the data is been stored.
Thanks & Regards,

Install Software HANA unable to read repository
Hello,
I'm new to Eclipse. I'm trying to get up the trial Cloud environment for SAP HANA. I have Eclipse Juno installed. When I attempt to do an install of the HANA software on top of Eclipse I receive error "Unable to read Repository".
We do not use a proxy, so network was set to "DIRECT". I can get to the SAP site from the browser tools.hana.ondemand.com/luna. I downloaded the certificate for that site and added it to the cacerts file for JDK1.6.0_45.
The error message in full says:
Unable to read repository at tools.hana.ondemand.com/luna/content.xml.
Using the browser, tools.hana.ondemand.com/luna/content.xml returns a 404 error. If I change it to tools.hana.ondemand.com/luna/content.jar, it gives me a download.
As far as I can tell, there's no way to make Eclipse point to content.jar. Can someone tell me where this is going wrong?
Thanks.

Likely the best support for SAP/HANA would come from SAP/HANA. -
PI 7.3 - AEX "unable to read configuration data" and login problems
Hello Friends,
after installation of AEX, i'm facing some problems.
1.I'm not able to login with any user, i created during installation wizard. So i cannot check any user in NWA -> User Administration.
2.Once more, while opening http://<host>:<port>/rep or http://<host>:<port>/dir, i get the following error message.
Can somebody help me?
I think, there is a problem with the users, which have been created during installation. How can i check this? Is there any chance?
Second, if i'm able to login, i have to import the exchange profile again. This should solve the problem. Or is this wrong?
PI (http://<host>:<port>/dir/start/index.jsp). Below is the part of the error message that is showing up. Appreciate your suggestions:

Error: Unable to read footer file
Hoping someone out there can help me. I get this error on
everypage in my site and have no idea how to stop it.
Error: Unable to read footer file
The error does not show up when I preview inside dreamweaver
but only rears its ugly head after I post the site up on the
internet. I have searched for hours through the Dreamweaver menus
and can not find these elusive footers and have no idea where they
are coming from or what footer file it is trying to read.. Please
help. This probably has a simple solution and I am just not able to
understand it. Thank you.sdrouillard wrote:

Possibly, but without a URL we can't comment. Post it, and
we'll see.
At a guess, sounds like an include file is missing. Are you
on some sort of
free hosting plan where the host puts some adverts in the
footer? If that
file is removed from your site directory you might get the
error you've
mentioned (at least, that was the case on the only other time
I've seen this
error)

Pete.

Error reading wsdl file excepetion null
Hi
I am trying to invoke a proxy service (web service) wsdl from a bpel process. When i add a web service adapter, put url of external web service and save it, all my service end points defined in the BPEL process are becoming non editable. Binding of operation is changing from web service to HTTP binding for all end points. When I try to edit any partner link, Jdev throws an error " error reading wsdl file excepetion null " for local services. For external service, even though i am refering to a url on the server, it points to " C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdev\bin\...\xxxx?WSDL" and throws same error " failed to read wsdl file(System could not find the path specified". I am just clueless as to why this is happening. Any help is much appreciated.Try the SOA Forum - SOA Suite

Error reading WSDL File in ORABPEL 10.1.3.1
Hi all,
I'm stuck with the following situation so any help would be highly appreciated.
I need to use a Web Service provided by a third party. I tested this Web Service using a .NET client successfully. I'm able to create the partner link and see all the available methods on the Web Service but when I'm trying to compile the BPEL project I'm getting this:

I'm a little bit lost into this situation. Also I cannot identified which is the main issue here.
If somebody can give me some advice/orientation about this I would be very thankful.
Thanks a lot.
JoseIf you're using OC4J standalone, use the latest available OC4J, 10.1.3.3.
If you're using a manage OC4J, ie. Application Server, upgrade to the latest available version and upgrade your JDK. The provided JDK might be outdated.
