We are not able to refresh any of the reports in Deski.
Error Message: Connection or SQL sentence error (DA0005)
Error Details: Exception: DBD, ORA-24373: invalid length specified for statement state: N/A
System Details: Windows 2003 Std SP1 & 4GB RAM, Citrix 5.0
But the same application is working on Windows Xp environment.
Could you please help me out to resolve the above issue.
Also it would be great if you can share the system requirement for BO XI installation on Citrix Server Env and additional components that need to be installed.

Hi Manikandan,
Following information might help you to resolve the issue.
Solution1:
The individual domains in Tools > Universe > Repository and check that
they test correctly with the "Server is Responding" message.
If not, then
attempt a Safe Recovery to redefine the BOMAIN.KEY.
Note: Make sure that the
domains all have the same connection string by enlarging the window in Tools
> Universe > Repository. If this has been changed, then you must change it
back, then perform a Safe Recovery or you will receive error "The Document
Domain does not exist in the same data account, you cannot export your LOV" when
exporting a universe.
If you now receive "A connection required to refresh
this document is unavailable" when running your reports, then this connection will have to be redefined and assigned to your universes before re-exporting to the
repository. You will need to do this for each universe.
Solution2:
Try recreating the new connection from the scratch and test the issue.
Solution3:
Rename the report to the shorter length and test the issue.
Test the same for the universe also.

Can not refresh data int the report...
Application on C#.
Steps:
1. Get Report without data from the database
2. Change the dataconnections in report to the current user
3. refresh data on the report (FilePath = TempFilePath)
4. Resave report file with data
5. Automatically open CrystalReportsViewer2008 and load the report
Result
On developer machine is allright, but on the user machine data isn't refreshed. Therefore CrysrtalReportsViewer2008 can't open report. It say that check the SaveDatawithReport parameter.
In process I found that in temp directory on user pc, didn't creates some temprorary files which creates on developer PC. Why? Help me please.

How do I retain my apps after I change my apple ID? Right now I'm unable to update any of the apps with the old apple ID. I get an error message about an invalid id or Password. If I delete my appos and start over, I may lose the apps that I purchased (like the ones for $5 +....
Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to purchase them originally. Did you try entering your old password and see if that works?
If you need to sign out of your old account go to Settings>Store>Tap on your ID and sign out. Sign in with the new one.
you can also access your ID in the featured tab of the App Store. Swipe to the bottom of the screen and you will find it there as well. -

Well, I've gone through the pre-reqs for trying to install 11G clusterware on RHEL 5.3.
I'm to the point where i'm trying to run:
./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n node1 -verbose
I get this:

I'm just wanting right now, to install a one node RAC system (I will add servers later as I get them online).
I've verified that ssh is working (thinking it may be trying to connect to itself by ssh). I have the keys generated and installed...if I connect ssh as the oracle user back to the same machine, it gets me right on with no prompts for passwords.
nslookup on node1 looks great.
This box has 2 cards....eth0 and eth1. Right now in the /etc/hosts file, I have node1 to the IP for eth0, and node1-priv set for the IP address eth1.
I do have a little trouble understanding what the node1-vip is supposed to do or be set. I found the an IP address one higher than for eth0 wasn't being used, and set node1-vip to be that.
(Can someone explain to me a little more about the vip host?? Is it supposed to somehow point to node1's IP address on eth0 like the regular one does?)
Since this is a one box, one node install...hoping clusterware and checks are just looking at the /etc/hosts file. I've tried playing around, and setting node1-vip to be the same as node1 (IP)...that doesn't work either.
One thing I can guess 'might' be wrong. Does runcluvfy use "ping"? I found the oracle user cannot ping this box from this box. The box (node1) can be pinged from outside the box...it is registered on DNS, I can ssh into it no problem, and again, oracle can ssh into himself on same box with keys properly generated).
I've been looking around, and I just don't see much of what to look at to troubleshoot with this error, I guess everyone gets past the verification the first time with no host unreachable errors?
I'm a bit weak when it comes to networking. Any help greatly appreciated...suggestions, links...etc!!
cayenneOk...looks like this was the problem. It appears the SA's, per newer policy, had turned off "ping" for any other user on the box besides root.
I took a shot in the dark, and had them turn it on (as that ssh'ing and other items to check seemed to work outside the runcluvfy script). They turned on ping. The nodes from the script are now reachable and test positive for equivalency.

I"m guessing that last line...was due to not having the clusterware running on any other boxes?

Unable to access any of the radio stations on iTunes
I have iTunes 10 and am unable to access any of the radio stations. I keep getting error messages to try again later and check my Internet connection (it is working fine). Any help would be appreciated!

When I tried to convert a file from PDF to WORD.DOC it opened as Read Only and I'm unable to alter any of the text. How do I solve this problem? I don't know how to change it from Read Only.

Referring to your previous message when you said you'd converted via Acrobat and not Acrobat.com, I'm converting via Acrobat.com because that's the only option that is shown (how do I convert via Acrobat? - perhaps that would be more successful). I'm using the Export PDF website, and the OCR is enabled to "Recognize text in English UK". However, I've just tried converting a different LPA pdf form, this time for Health & Welfare https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/245571/LPA114_He alth_welfare_LPA.pdf and again I have the same problem as before. I've altered it from "Read only" and thought I'd then be able to enter text, but "Drawing Tools" is shown in the pane and I'm unable to enter anything onto the form - everything appears to be in images. Also, the lettering on the heading of' page 1 has become jumbled, with the word "Public" overlaying the word "Guardian." Any suggestions as to what it is I'm doing wrong would be welcome - I don't like to be beaten!

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, moved it to a new computer, reregistered, and am still unable to use any of the edit capabilities. Help?
We always like to know what solutions work. The other options that would cause problems include:
1. the file is either secured or a PDF/A
2. you need to update Acrobat (Help>Updates) -
Unable to start any of the creative suite
Got a odd problem with the creative suite 3 on some of our laptops.
Basicly the install goes threw without any error or problems, but the user(s) are unable to start any of the software.
When trying to start a program like as a example Adobe Photoshop CS 3 it either loads the window with grey background and directly to window not answering or nothing comes up and process shows up on task manager.
Tested all of the software/programs included in the suite and all suffer from the same issue.
Tested installing on a few laptops and only 1 of our models have the issue so probably a flaw in the image for that model, but how do i resolve this without remaking the image and reinstalling all the machines?The machines tho not cutting edge should run it without a problem (2,2ghz/3gb ram/ati hd3200).
Doubt its a network/proxy issue since we have had them in use for a few months and its only the adobe suite having issues, and on the other machine models with same network config the adobe suite dosent have the same issue.
Never got as far as accept the agreement or enter cd-key so looks like its the accept agreement window not popping up that stalls evrything, but there is no error entry or any sign of a window/process for the agreement window at all.
Should be possible to remove the need for the window in registry, but as to what values ive had no luck sofar.
Havent had any luck on google to find the registry values or a contanct mail/form for adobe technical support either. -
I am unable to delete any of the installed apps on my iPAD2. If I press on the icon , it merely starts shaking but no longer displays the X sign in order for me to delete it.
I also notice that I am unable to display the HIDE tab if I swipe on any of my purchased apps.
I think this may be happening after I upgraded to iOS 6

I have just opened a new icloud email address and am unable to open ANY of the messages in my INBOX. For each item I get the message "Cannot open this item. This operation is NOT supported until the entire message is downloaded. Download the message and try again". I now have no clue what I need to do to open these items. Help please.
What version of iPhoto do you have installed? Is if one of the versions shown as not compatible in this screenshot?
If it is then go to the App Store and download iPhoto 9.5. It will be free if you have an iPhoto 9 or later verson currently.

Unable to download any of the instant clients
Looks like the download issue has returned (at least for me). I am unable to download any of the instantclient basic or basic lite, 10g or 11. Doesn't matter what i try to download, i get the same errors:
IE8 : Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Firefox : shows a blank page
Chrome: This webpage is not available.I get the same error with the same 3 browsers...

OBIEE 10g - Unable to see data in the report view with grand total applied

We're facing with a strange issue.
We're working on a report view.
We're able to see data when Grand total is not applied on the report. The moment Grand Total is applied, it's showing either an empty table with NULL values or "No Results" page.
Please help.

I included it in the instanceconfig.xml, but the issue still exists.
Couple of Observations
#1 - We noticed this issue when we drill down to the level which has really sparse data.
It works fine when we look at the enterprise wide report.
#2 - Works fine with few dimensional attributes and facts on the report
When we add a fact that doesn't have any value at that level, the issue starts to appear.

Unable to see data in the report or workbook
Hello All,
We are struggling to display data in the report level or workbook, however the data is available in Multiprovider.
Error Message: "No Applicable Data Found"
Steps Carried Out:
1. Dropped the BIA Indexes for relevant cubes and Reactivated the Multiprovider, still did not work.
2. When we checked for previous years like 2013, we are able to see data in the report. To elaborate an issue, we loaded budget data for year 2015 as requested by user. Restricted the same filters from the Query in the Multiprovider and able to see the data in the backend, however not data can be seen in the Report.
3. Three Hierarchies are restricted in the Filters of the Query.
It would be great, if any of you can help us to fix the issue.

in exists is there any system date kind?
Can you try to run your report thru RSRT and use debug option there.
before reporting please check your all connected targets have data for reporting.
mean at targets-->request tab, reporting symbol was there or not.
Any master data objects included in multi provider?
if yes then please check those, if any ACR was running then it may cause you.
if possible try to develop simple query with as per needs(mean to see 2015 data only).
As my guess selections/filters migth be hidden, please check those.
