Unable to run ejbc command!!!

I am compiling my ejbs and after jarring the classes and META-INF when i run the ejbc <jarfilename> <outjarname> thit says
'ejbc' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
how do i set the classpath and path to run the ejbc command......am using weblogic 8.1 version and jdk1.3

Add the weblogic server's bin directory to your PATH. You will need to a couple of WLS jars to the CLASSPATH. There might be something in the installation/setup documentation that tells you all this. I have only used WLS 5.1 and 7.0.

    to make your database in archive log mode you need to give a downtime of your database for this you can do following steps.
    if you are using spfile
    1. shutdown the database.
    2. startup in mount mode
    3. use command 'alter database archivelog';
    4. specify the archive log location using command
    ' alter system set log_archive_dest_1='LOCATION=location_path';'
    5. specify archive log format as
    'alter system set archive_log_format=your choice;'
    6. enable the archive log dest using ' alter system set log_archive_dest_state_1=enable;'

  • Administrator Unable To Run Powershell Commands When UPD Enabled

    Hi All,
    We have a single Windows 2012 R2 RDS configured with UPD enabled for the defined collection. So far everything is working fine for standard users; however, the domain administrator can no longer run PowerShell commands (see attached screenshot).
    I believe this is the result of the UPD "impersonating" the local c:\. How can I get around this for domain administrator accounts?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    By UPD, you mean user profile disk, right?
    In addition, all non-administrator users can run the exact same PowerShell cmdlet, right?
    What about other PowerShell cmdlets, are administrators able to run them?
    Best Regards,
    Amy

  • Unable to run JAVAC command at DOS prompt

    I installed JDK1.3.1 I gave the pathas
    C:\JDK1.3.1 and changed the Autoexec.bat file to have
    Set Path=C:\JDK1.3.1\Bin;
    When I am trying to run command javac it gives me this message
    This program cannot be run in DOS mode
    I cant start, Please help
    Thanks

    Did you reboot the system after the install -- what you put in the autoexec.bat doesn't become effective until the system has been rebooted.
    If you don't want to reboot, you can try this:
    C:\JDK1.3.1\Bin\javac -classpath C:\JDK1.3.1 HelloWorld.java
    V.V.

  • Unable to run certain commands on unix using the Runtime.getRuntime().exec(

    Hi Folks,
    I am unable to get any output if I try : Runtime.getRuntime().exec("who am i")
    however for Runtime.getRuntime().exec("pwd") I am getting the present working directory path !!!
    if I give Runtime.getRuntime().exec("echo $PATH") then instead of printing the path it prints $PATH instead !!! similarly it is unable to understand any of the special unix characters such as " or ' & is assuming it to be a literal instead.
    Any idea why this is happening ?? and any solution for the same
    regards
    Anand

    I don't think that Runtime.getRuntime().exec() spawns a shell it just executes the file that is specified in the string. ecause of this you can not use commands that are built-in in the shell directly nor use special shell characters. You must spawn your own shell, try something like this:
    Runtime.getRuntime().exec("sh");I'm sure you can add some switch to sh to execute a command by I am not using unix myself so I don't know how. Someone else have to help you with that. You can allways read the man-pages.

  • Unable to run a Batch File Operating System Command

    Using XI 3.0, I am unable to run a Batch File Operating System Command After Message Processing.
    My Batch file:
    gpg -se -r BOA3RSKY --armor --passphrase-fd 0 %1 < C:\Progra~1\GNU\GnuPG\gpgin
    My Command Line (ID scenario)
    exec "cmd.exe /c C:\Progra~1\GNU\GnuPG\boagpg.bat %F"
    If I execute
    exec "cmd.exe /c type C:\Progra~1\GNU\GnuPG\boagpg.bat >xis.txt"
    It displays the contents of boagpg.bat file in xis.txt.
    I just don't understand why when I run the batch file, I would expect an %F.asc encrypted file in the same directory as the %F unencrypted file.
    Any ideas?
    or will I need Basis to create commands that will allow me to run GPG from XI Command Line?

  • Unable to run reports from the unix command line

    hi
    all of a sudden i am unable to run reports ( on App server 10g) either from the unix scripts or from the unix command line. But i can run them from the forms.
    Any one have any idead about this.
    Thank you

    thanks all for replying
    i have set the env variables for the session and it worked. Looks like i have to set the oracle_home and ld_library_path every time ( opening a new putty session) i call sqlldr.
    But in a whole i am trying to run sql loader from the forms. Right now we have Oracle app server 10g which forms 10g version. As oracle app server 10g didnt come with sqlldr, we are copied the sqlldr of database on to app server with different home. after this we can run sqlldr ( on app server ) from unix scripts but not from Forms. Then we opened a qurey with oracle about app server 10g not commig with sqlldr and its remedy . But they said that they dont have specific remedy for that and suggested the same what we did.
    So we came up with java package which does the same funtion as host command and trying to run sqlldr which is on the database( ie replacing the host command in the forms with the database funtion). By using that funtion i am able to run the sqlldr from sql plus but not from forms. I couldnt easily debug it as i wont through any error messages.
    Any one have any idea of this ...
    Thank you

  • Process.Start - getting different output when running command using this method than I am if I run same command in CMD prompt

    Hi
    Creating an application to analyze .dmp files - all working well except this odd issue
    If I open command prompt and enter this command:-
    kd -z C:\Windows\MiniDump\042414-24632-01.dmp -c "!analyze -v"
    Then it works and shows me all the output I need (shown at bottom of post)
    If I run same command in VB.net using following code - then it doesn't give the same output - the bits I need at the end created by the !analyze -v switch don't appear
    Any ideas why it is not seeing the switch correctly - setting a breakpoint and checking contents of startinfo seems to be showing correct cmd line i.e. "kd -z C:\windows\minidump\042414-24632-01.dmp -c "!analyze –v;q""
    Dim myprocess As New Process()
    myprocess.StartInfo.FileName = "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.1\Debuggers\x86\kd"
    myprocess.StartInfo.Arguments = "-z C:\windows\minidump\042414-24632-01.dmp -c ""!analyze –v;q"""
    myprocess.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = False
    myprocess.StartInfo.RedirectStandardOutput = True
    myprocess.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = True
    myprocess.Start()
    TextBox1.AppendText(myprocess.StandardOutput.ReadToEnd())
    Output when run from cmd prompt:-
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.1\Debuggers\x86>kd -z C:\Windows\MiniDump\042414-24632-01.dmp -c "!analyze -v;q"

    Try it by opening the Cmd prompt as the actual process and passing the Filename and its arguments as the arguments of the Cmd process.  If you notice there is a "-C" before the Filename and Arguments in this example.  The "-C"
    tells the cmd to execute the commands and then close itself.  You can also use a "-K" which tells the cmd to execute the commands and keep itself open.  Being you are not showing the cmd window you don`t want to keep it opened because the
    user can`t close it so, that is why i used "-C".
     I don`t have the program so, you can just experiment to see what it does.  Maybe you should try using "-K" and show the cmd window by commenting out the CreateNoWindow line so you can see what is in the cmd window while testing.

  • Using C# to run PowerShell command to create VirtualDirectory fails

    I can run these commands with no problem directly in PowerShell. But trying to get C# to run them, I receive errors.

    These are the two different ways I invoked the script
    PowerShell ps = PowerShell.Create();
    ps.AddCommand("New-Item")
    .AddParameter("Path", newPathName)
    .AddParameter("ItemType", "directory");
    ps.AddStatement().AddCommand("New-WebVirtualDirectory")
    .AddParameter("Site", Properties.Settings.Default.VirtualDirectoryPath)
    .AddParameter("Name", userName)
    .AddParameter("physicalPath", newPathName);
    ps.Invoke();
    and (scriptContents is a string holding the
    Runspace runspace = RunspaceFactory.CreateRunspace();
    runspace.Open();
    Pipeline pipeline = runspace.CreatePipeline();
    pipeline.Commands.AddScript(scriptContents);
    pipeline.Commands.Add("Out-String");
    Collection<PSObject> results = pipeline.Invoke();
    runspace.Close();

    I tried yet another way to make a Virtual Directory:
    public void CreateVirtualDirectory2(string userName, string password)
    string newPhysicalPathName = Path.Combine(Properties.Settings.Default.PhysicalPathForVirtualDirectory, userName);
    StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder();
    if (Directory.Exists(newPhysicalPathName) == false)
    sb.AppendLine(@"md " + newPhysicalPathName);
    sb.AppendLine("cd iis:");
    sb.AppendLine("cd Sites");
    sb.AppendLine("cd ftp");
    sb.AppendLine(@"New-Item 'IIS:\Sites\ftp\bridgenet\" + userName + @"' -Type VirtualDirectory -physicalPath " + newPhysicalPathName);
    string script = VirtualDirectoryScript(sb.ToString());
    RunspaceInvoke invoker = new RunspaceInvoke();
    try
    invoker.Invoke(script);
    catch (Exception e)
    Console.ForegroundColor= ConsoleColor.Black;
    Console.BackgroundColor = ConsoleColor.Red;
    Console.WriteLine("ERROR: " + e.Message);
    Console.ResetColor();
    And the same exception occurs
    "A parameter cannot be found that matches parameter name 'physicalPath'."
    When I run the script outside of C#, there's no error.
    So no one's responded yet , which is pretty disappointing.

  • Solaris 10 06/06 x86 install Unable to run cmd: /usr/sbin/sysidput

    Hello,
    When I install Solaris 10 06/06 on my x86 machine, I follow all of the prompts. Eventually , I get to a place in the X Windows GUI where I enter my IP, netmask, Router IP, DNS server IPs, domain, and search list.
    I get an error at the end of th network configuration section.
    runCmd error in /usr/sbin/sysidput with output:
    Unable to run cmd: /usr/sbin/sysidput
    No sysidcfg found.
    I found my sysidcfg at /etc/sysidcfg. everytime I try to create a file or copy a file over to /usr/sbin. I get a read only error. I am logged in as root..
    /etc is not my $PATH. Is that the problem? Do special commands exist to put it in the path?
    Please help. I have not used UNIX in two years. I not know Solaris Administration.
    Does a newer DVD exist with the fix already done?
    Thank you very much.

    This is a known issue. Do not configure the network at the time of OS installation. Select NON-Networked and continue,
    Once you are done with the installation, run sys-unconfig and you will be able to configure the network.

    I'm facing some issues to setup some configurations of one application that I've deployed on weblogic 10.3.3.0.
    One of the needed steps in order to configure this applications is open the WLST in offline mode an run 2 commands:

    * wls:/offline> nmConnect('admin30800','weblogic_password',port='30801',domainName='track30800')*

    I did some research and found this thread here: http://kr.forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=788163
    that solves the initial problem, however after I performed the nmConnect and a storeUserConfig() command, I exit() from the WLST and restart the node manager with success, the node manager becomes unreachable.
    I used the WL adm console and access -> appdomain -> environments -> machines -> monitoring -> node manager status to check the unreachable status.
