Unble to code to find a file path

i just started using flex beta3 and i tried to developed an
application in which i used an image control and a
button-control.The thing is that i can provide the source path of
the picture during design time and it get loaded but when i
provided a code using the browse() method and it helps somewhat in
my application by showing the "open file window" and i can select
the image, whatever i want but it didn't loaded into my image
control i mean the selected picture is unable to load into image
control in my application . I also used the "file reference"
property in my application. Pliz solve it.

Let me see if I understand:
You are using FileReference class to browse for an image file
in your local file system and then, you want to load that image
into a <mx:image> control?
I so, lamentably, the answer is YOU CAN NOT DO IT because of
a built it Flash Player Security Rule.
In the same way, you can not drop files into the flash world
or even drag items outside that world, write files in a specific
and well-known path (Common Files in Win or Home/Library/... in
MacOS and many other things that could be very interesting.... What
can we do?... it's the law.

  • Preferences: Code Editor: Printing:  Add File Path and Date to Print Header?

    Is there a way to add file full path and date to the print file header for a SQL Worksheet when printing from the Code Editor?  So, for example, if my SQL worksheet is called MySQL.sql and is saved to C:\Myfiles\SQL_Code\, I'd like to print the full path 'C:\Myfiles\SQL_Code\MySQL.sql' and today's date as part of the print header along with the page numbers at the top of the code.   I see a Java preview in the Preferences: Code Editor: Printing window that mentions a "Today" date but I don't know Java and that is an uneditable preview.  I have checked the "Print File Header" check box.  Is the file header definition stored somewhere in a configuration file and/or is there a way to modify/customize the default file header?
    I am a new user to SQL Nav. version 3.2.20.09 Build-MAIN  09.87. I could do this in SQL Navigator but can't figure it out in SQLDeveloper. Thank you.

    HI
    First of all,
    Unless otherwise you selected some option like page break after/before - both body and header/footer will print on same page in report, so in pdf as well.
    If you have difference on report and PDF that you should look into your setup.
    If you want more help, please be particular on your issue

  • Find Window file path utility

    Hi All!
    I have used a nifty utility or extension or preference that displays the full directory path at the bottom of the finder window. I'd like to make this happen in Lion.
    Anyone know the secret?
    Thanks,
    Greg

    Charlie,
    You are a genius. There are som many moving parts to Lion that sometimes it's hard to remember where exactly to look.
    I feel like an idiot, but I appreciate the help.
    Thanks.

  • ITunes can't find file path

    A year ago I moved my iTunes Library (iTunes Music Folder) to a second internal drive following Kim Komando's instructions and all went well with no problems. I called the second drive M and created a folder called "My Music 2" where I put the iTune files.
    Yesterday I reformated and reinstalled Windows XP and then copied "My Documents" back to the drive but in the restore process it deleted the folder called "My Music 2" on my second drive. I reinstalled iTunes and while all my music files are there inside iTunes including the Playlists, iTunes cannot find the file paths.
    What steps do I need to follow so all the files will play, and if it's not too complicated a process I wouldn't mind putting the files back on my second drive? Is there a simple way to do all this?

    My itunes file is messed up and wont work file path not found but it wont let me uninstall so i can fix.  Plus it cant fine bonjour.msi or quicktime.msi
    Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    Next, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    Next, select any QuickTime entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try an iTunes install. Does it go through properly? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?

  • How to get file path?

    Hi all,
    I have a tcode ysd_gr. When I execute it, it has one select option & I entered the values as *.csv. It gave 6 csv files(only file names) & I want to retreive data from one file.
    So I need to find the file path. The functional consultants told that the files are in Application server (there are more than 5 application servers are used here).
    So I need to know how to find the file path  and in which application server the file is placed.
    Thanks in advance,
    Vijay.

    Go to t-code AL11 and give the path name excluding the file name:
    I mean for example the name is as below:
    D:\usr\sap\IDS\DVEBMGS00\data\test.csv
    here test.csv is the file name.
    So go to AL11 and give upto D:\usr\sap\IDS\DVEBMGS00\data and dauble click on it and search for the file name.
    Hope this will solve your problem.
    Reward if helpful.
    Thank you.

  • How to see full file path in DW find/replace results

    I've been looking for a solution to this for a while now.
    I've also seen many questions about this on other forums but no
    real answers.
    The problem is this: when I use the DW8 find feature to
    search for something across an entire site (or an entire folder not
    in a defined site) all the files in which the pattern was found get
    listed with only the filename and the name of that file's immediate
    parent folder. I can't see the full path to the file.
    Now of course, if I only get a few matches, I can open up all
    the files one at a time and see the full path in the DW window
    title. However, that gets pretty restrictive if I get lots of
    results.
    For example, I searched for something like "model2_header_"
    in the source code for one of my sites.
    over 6000 files contained a match for that pattern.
    I ain't about to open 6000 files just to know where they are
    in the site.
    As a specific example, one of those files was located 6
    subfolders down:
    [siteRoot]\ab-dga\tools\guides\tpd-dpc\ov-oev\ccrfta-aleccr\filename.html
    But in the DW search results, it was listed as:
    ccrfta-aleccr\filename.html [...matched text here...]
    That makes it really hard to find that file.
    I still use HomeSite sometimes and I get the full path in
    search results there so it's really frustrating that DW doesn't
    provide that information as well.
    Please, someone, let me know that there is hope. Find me a
    solution (and please don't just give me the last two words of it...
    Thanks.

    Hm, I wonder if it's something they may have enabled only for the Cloud version (I have 13.1.2).  If so, I didn't notice the change at the time of the upgrade.
    Nope, it's not that - I have a virtual machine for testing with 13.0.1 installed...  This is what I see there:

  • How to set the File Path to run a javascript using Plugin Code?

    Hi All,
    Im new to Indesign Plugin Development.Can any one help me out with my problem.
    What i want to do is to run a javascript using Plugin Code.When i went through this forum i was able to find out that i should use the IscriptRunner Class to automate this.I could also figure out that the Member Function to use is "CanHandleFile" &"RunFile".
    The first parameter in CanHandleFile & RunFile Member Function is to specify the path of the JavaScript File i suppose!I could also find out that IDFile has to used to set the file path Information.
    But im clueless how to set the Javascript FilePath using IDFile.Can any one help me how to do this?Any Code Snippets Please?
    Waiting for reply.
    Thanks

    Hi,  Andreas<br /><br />  Can you explain this in detail? I found it in your post before.<br /><br />  The content of elements are returned through the Characters callback function:<br /><br />From ISaxContentHandler.h:<br /><br />/**<br />        Receives character data<br /><br />The parser will call this method to report each chunk of<br />        character data. SAX parsers may return all contiguous<br />        character data in a single chunk, or they may split it into<br />        several chunks. But all characters in any single<br />        event must come from the same external entity so the<br />        Locator provides useful information.<br /><br />Note some parsers will report whitespace using the<br />        IgnorableWhitespace() method rather than this one (validating<br />        parsers must do so).<br /><br />@param Chars The characters from the XML document.<br />        */<br />virtual void Characters(const PMString& chars) = 0; <br /><br />  What i have done is implement my own SAXContentHandlerServiceBoss, and in my file XXXSAXContentHandler.cpp, I override the fonctions StartElement, EndElement, and Characters() like below: I add the PMString xmlData to collect the file content:<br /><br />class XXXSAXContentHandler : public CSAXContentHandler<br />{<br />void XXXSAXContentHandler::Characters(const WideString& chars)<br />{<br />xmlData.Append(chars);<br />}<br /><br />void XXXSAXContentHandler::StartElement(const WideString& uri, const WideString& localname, const WideString& qname, ISAXAttributes* attrs)<br />{<br />xmlData.Append("<"); xmlData.Append(localname); xmlData.Append(">");<br />}<br />void XXXSAXContentHandler::EndElement(const WideString& uri, const WideString& localname, const WideString& qname)<br />{<br />xmlData.Append("</"); xmlData.Append(localname); xmlData.Append(">");<br />}<br /><br />}<br /><br />and in my program, I use the code below to call the fonction I overrided, but I dont know how I can get the String xmlData I defined in the XXXSAXContentHandler.cpp<br /><br />InterfacePtr<IK2ServiceRegistry> serviceRegistry(gSession, UseDefaultIID());<br /><br />InterfacePtr<IK2ServiceProvider> xmlProvider(serviceRegistry->QueryServiceProviderByClassID(kXMLParserService, kXMLParserServiceBoss));<br /><br />InterfacePtr<ISAXServices> saxServices(xmlProvider, UseDefaultIID());<br />InterfacePtr<ISAXContentHandler> saxHandler(::CreateObject2<ISAXContentHandler>(kXXXSAXContentHandlerServiceBoss));<br />saxHandler->Register(saxServices);<br />bool16 parseFailed = saxServices->ParseStream(readStream, saxHandler);<br /><br />Can you give me any help?<br /><br />Thanks and regards!

  • Dreamweaver CS6 - MAC: How do I view / display a file path in code view?

    I work with complex applications / sites that use cross-browser ajax calls and different configurations. We use two different prod servers which flip/flop for active while the other is a backup. I need the ability to see (from a root level) exactly which file I'm looking at. This seems like a no-brainer, but I have had no luck finding anything related to it. Please help.

    The first item in the "Coding Toolbar" (the left hand side of the code window) that looks like a file icon with a little black down arrow will show you the file path.
    I know it's not great for your purpose. It should be visible all the time (perhaps on the bottom of the window that is virtually empty.) You should request this to Adobe.

  • Function that finds the absolute path of a file

    Hi,
    I'm creating an application using the SDL framework.
    The following code gives me the absolute path for the file "caisse.jpg", which is located in my application bundle. Then, I can use the value of "cstrURL" to load the image with IMG_Load(cstrURL);
    #import <CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h>
    int main(int argc, char *argv[])
    CFURLRef url = CFBundleCopyResourceURL( CFBundleGetMainBundle(),
    CFSTR("caisse"),
    CFSTR("jpg"), //extension du fichier
    NULL );
    const char* cstrURL = CFStringGetCStringPtr(
    CFURLCopyFileSystemPath(url,kCFURLPOSIXPathStyle),
    CFStringGetSystemEncoding()
    printf("URL: %s", cstrURL);
    return EXIT_SUCCESS;
    But I have many files to load for my application. I tried to create a function that would take as parameter informations about the image, and then automatically find the absolute path of this image.
    ( void imgPath(char name[], char ext[], char destination[] ---> name = "image", ext = "jpg", destination is a variable in which the function puts the absolute path of the file)
    How can I do that? What bugs me is the use of the CFSTR macro in the code I have...
    Thank you very much
    FRANKY

    The CFSTR macro can only use a constant string as parameter, not a variable one.
    You can use instead CFStringCreateWithCString if the parameter is a C String (char *).
    Additionaly, I think the input parameters of your imgPath function must be of char* type, not char. And the output parameter char** (but it would be easier to know with the function source code).

  • External hard drive -- old file path from a previous laptop is still where to find my songs,  how do I change?

    My iTunes library is a mess, it is stored on an external hard drive.  My old laptop died unexpectedly and I didn't have a problem resetting the file path for the library on my new laptop.  The other day my son was trying to update his iPod when I wasn't home and I don't know what he did.... GRRRR  Any songs I purchased on my old laptop are now not able to be found.  When I click on 'get info' on a song it shows the old file path from the old laptop.  Songs that I purchased since the new laptop are still playable and great.  I know my songs are still there but I can't seem to get the file path to reset on the old music.  HELP!!! PLEASE

    This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
    Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or an external drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
    Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

  • XsltCollaboration code file path exceeds 255 characters

    All,
    I'm trying to build a Deployment Profile for a CAPS project containing an XSLT Collaboration Definition. I managed to build the Deployment Profile previously with persistence turned off. After turning on persistence (Persistence for Reporting set to 'Yes' on the only Business Process in the project) and re-building the Deployment Profile I was greeted with an Exception dialog containing the following:
    com.stc.codegen.framework.model.CodeGenException: code generation error at = svcXCDXform - XCE CodeGen
    XsltCollaboration code file path
    C:\DOCUME~1\DAMIAN~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\builds\prjBPXformdpBPXform\svcXCDXform_ejb\xcdXform_Runtime_Handler.java
    exceeds 255 characters. Shorten XsltCollaboration name or recreate Connectivity Map with shorter name to solve this problemI don't think turning persistence on has anything to do with this error but mentioned it because that was the only change I made before re-building. Can anyone shed some light on why CodeGen is building in my local temp folder and not the Path which I have set in the Enterprise Designer | Build Options? Is this a completely different path?
    FYI - I am using Java CAPS 5.1.2.
    Thanks,
    Damian

    Change the Windows Environment Variables for the Temp folders to something like C:\TMP
    Not sure but i've noticed that the folder specified for CODEGEN_LOCATION is ignored in older versions of JCAPS.
