Under line in smartforms coming as bold

Dear Freinds ,
I have developed smartforms , But iam getting one particular problem is the underline is getting in bold ......
i.e iam using &wa_final-name& for this from the Character Format's i have used the Uline, ......iam not using the Bold option even then in the output iam getting the Ulline is coming in bold , how i get without bold .
I have Created in smartstyles with the character format in that their is a tab FONT and in that click on the check box underline format and called that smartstyles in my smartform and then select the text and used the character format (UL)-I dont want bold for the underline........what i have to do.
Should i do any thing in smartstyle for the Uline? because i created as inthe smartstyle for charcter format uline without any options i have just used the checked box for underlined.
could any one please let me know where i went wrong?

Hi Swamy,
as i said i have just used font type as couriour and underline checked ............. i found the reason for me getting bold is as follows :
as for getting the data from internal table we have to use &wa_final-name&..........this & & will be having shading black and bold ....so when you u select &wa_final-name& and go for character fomat uline.......
iam getting output the uline as bold along with the ouput coming from wa_final-name.
the problem is mainly &wa_final-name& is giving bold , i tried without giviing uline and just presing shift and
underscore..........bu iam unable to give under &wa_final-name&. The requirement was to get
uline for the data coming from &wa_final-name&.
eg : Shashi -
here also iam not able give under shashi the uline .................
i will tell you clearly please help me ............i want to get the data coming from &wa_final-name& to get underlined in output not in bold .......
i want a thin line like _____________________. on this line i should get the output Shashi.
so in doing so i have given in the text > which is under main area> under the table.
I completed all the work but .......the user is not agreeing the font of the line is coming Bold----which appears also not good.

Hi Srini,
    Create a character format in smartstyles.
    Click on FONT tab of the character style.
        Click on Underlined.
    You that character format for the text element.

Double under line in amount using smartforms

Hello ABAPers,

i tried to use a script sy-uline...in smartstyles..and its ok..but my main problem is under line type..because the amount is in column...

hai,
      this is very simple.
      1) u have to create special paragraph format in style, which should have very small line spacing(do u know wr to gv line spacing?).
       2) In smartform create a text below the amount, where u want double underline. then put a underline in the newly created text according to the lenght of the amount.and apply the special style to the newly created text.
       3) Do the second step again to have the second underline.
Note : its purely depends upon the line spacing in "Indents and spacing"

HI,
If u use templates or table,then use borders to print the horizontal lines.
Eg : Create template-->Table painter->click select pattern button->Display framed pattern->select 3rd one.it will display only horizantal lines.
if want to print horizantal line under the text, then create one paragraph or character formate with Underline in smartstyles.Use that paragraph or character to u r text element

if you are using tables, there are two options for protection against line break: You can protect a line type against page break. You can protect several table lines against page break for output in the main area.
Protection against page break for line types Double-click on your table node and choose the Table tab page. Switch to the detail view by choosing the Details pushbutton. Set the Protection against page break checkbox in the table for the relevant line type. Table lines that use this line type are output on one page.
Protection against page break for several table lines Expand the main area of your table node in the navigation tree. Insert a file node for the table lines to be protected in the main area. If you have already created table lines in the main area, you can put the lines that you want to protect again page break under the file using Drag&Drop. Otherwise, create the table lines as subnodes of the file. Choose the Output Options tab page of the file node and set the Page Protection option. All table lines that are in the file with the Page Protection option set are output on one page

How to get 2nd line in smartforms using template

how to get 2nd line in smartforms main window using template. i have also defined loop .

if possible can you try with the TABLES..
Put one TABLE in your MAIN window
create table lines as per your requirment...consider all lines like 6 for header, 1 for main, 1 for total
Now, you will find three section under the tables: header, main, footer...
in header section, create a table line, assign one of the proper lines from the line types.. repeat for your all lines.
in main section, you can access your data form the loop.
the footer secion will be called, just after the main will be finished.

When pasting web address does no under line.

When I paste a web site copied from the address bar it will not under line... even wit adding a space and enter. I am pasting to ACS Web Mail... my DSL provider. I am using Ctrl V to paste as using the mouse doesn't work. I tried an add on that didn't work for using the mouse past function.

There is usually a button bar with buttons to format text like Bold and Italic just above the text area where you compose and edit the message text.<br />
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button).<br />
You can select the link text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink.<br />
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each (e.g. Insert hyperlink).<br />

How to suppress blank lines in smartforms

Hi all,
     How can we suppress blank lines in smartforms?
In my scenario I am having customer address details in main window.
i.e. Name
     Street
      P O Box
      P O Box Location
      Post Code
      Telephone
      Fax.
Suppose if there is no value for P O Box Location the address is getting displayed as
      Name
     Street
      P O Box
                      -> Leaving blank space
      Post Code
      Telephone
      Fax.
But I want it as
     Name
     Street
      P O Box
      Post Code
      Telephone
      Fax.
i.e The blank line should not be displayed.
Kindly let me know how to do this.

Are you using ADDRESS option in smartforms or code to get address from customer master?
If you are using code, you can give condition like P O Box Location <> SPACE in condition tab.

A command node is a special type of node in smartforms which can be used to trigger page-breaks etc:

Dot matrix printers Capable of printing TABLE lines In Smartforms

Hey guys,
we are using EPSON LX-300+ (dot matrix pritner)
but the problem is,
it is not able to print table lines present in a SMARTFORM..
it can print the same table lines presnet in SCRIPT ...
so i want to know,
all the dot matrix printers in the market...
that can print table lines in SMARTFORMS...
(pls suggest the DM printers u are using and dont have this problem..i.e unable to print table lines in SMARTFORMS)

Hi Sreesudha,
I have used three different line types for the main window.
LTYPE1(Header) : For printing the column heading along with the title for consignor address.
LTYPE2(Main Area) : For printing the line items detail. For the first line, I have to print Material Description and chapter Id and if the same material exists for the second line item, then it should not be printed, so I have written condition for not printing it.
LTYPE3(Footer) : For printing the footer with the net and gross weight details.
And for paragraph format, I have used the custom Para. Format only.
Suggest me ASAP.

Under Line for Text

Hi,
I have a screen for my report and it has few text and I/O elements. First I created few of those and later added some more. The once which were added first have underline under the text, the later once does not have under line. I do not see any difference in their type, format, etc.
Please help me solve this issue.

Try to use
selection-screen begin of line.
selection-screen comment 1(31) text-004.
parameter: p_matnr like mara-matnr.
selection-screen end of line.
Note: Only parameters can only be used inside begin of line and end of line.

Assigning ACL under Line VTY

Hey dears,
In my topology, there are two ip addresses on R1:
interface fa0/0: 1.1.1.1/24
interface loo0: 2.2.2.2/24
I want to login from R2 to R1 just to one of those ip addresses on R1. Actually I want to login just to 2.2.2.2 !
So, I am going to use ACL under Line VTY. But id doesn't work.
I know that I can simply use this ACL under interface fa0/0 which I've tested before and it worked.
Here is my current configuration:

For VTY access you should use a standard access list. The router does not read all 5-tuples.
To restrict the protocol use the transport input command.
To restrict the source you use an ACL and vty access-class like you have done.
If you want to restrict to a certain IP/interface you have a couple of options-

Cannot email the web page's link, copy and pass the link are no under line and no links.

I can't send a website links using yahoo-Email through Firefox 3.6.19 on my Mac Os X Version 10.4.11.
And this just happed on July 19th 2011, yesterday.
Please tell me why suddenly when I copy and pass the website address did not have under line and did not link?
