Undestanding the OSM-AIA integration with SAF agent for RODOD 11gr2.

Hello all,
As we don't yet manage the sending of sales orders from AIA 11.1 to OSM 7.2, I looking for some information about the way AIA and OSM may be integrated with SAF agents.
During the installation of the O2A cartridges in Design Studio, the SAF agent has been choosed against the JMS bridge approach.
So in OSM's WebLogic domain,
- a SAF agent is created
- JMS resources are created in the oms module:
-      a Remote SAF Context describing the way to be connected to the AIA's weblogic instance
- the remote imported destintations i.e.:
AIA_CRTBO_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_CRTCUST_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_CRTFO_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_CRTTTREQ_JMSQ
     AIA_FOPROV_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_LFERROR_JMSQ
     AIA_UPDSO_OUT_JMSQ
     AIA_UPDTTREQ_JMSQ
Sending an order from Siebel to AIA fills an AIA_FOPROV_IN_JMSQ on the AIA database which seems to be not consumed because on the OSM side, no order is ssen in the oms_ws_requests queue.
So, we are wondering if the Order to cash PIP in AIA is incomplete or not. Should be a SAF-agent in AIA to send orders to OSM? Should we complete the current SAF-Agent in OSM to receive and send messages to AIA?
To integrate ASAP or UIM to OSM, it is recommended to define a SAF-Agent in OSM to send messages and a SAF-Agent in ASAP/UIM to reply to OSM. It lets me think that our AIA installation is incomplete.
On the other side, when JMS bridges are used in OSM in 7.0.2, a bridge called created AIA_2_CFS_CreateOrder_is defined to locate and consume the remote JMS queue AIA_CRTFO_IN.
In conclusion, we'd like some explanations on the way to integrate as well as possible AIA and OSM in a SAF context. It will help use quite a lot.

On OSM side should exist SAF agent for sending messages to AIA queue's and same on AIA side for sending to OSM queue's. You can even combine SAF agaent on one direction and bridge's in another direction but you'll have to do it manually in that case.
If you see message in AIA queue and not forwarding to OSM I would first check SAF agent on AIA side ( usr/pass + remote destination (OSM) )

Although I gave up investment tracking for personal reasons (I had used Quicken Deluxe 2002 for many years for that reason), my understanding is that the new Quicken 2007 for Lion/Mt. Lion is completely the same feature wise as Quicken 2007 for PPC. It will run on Snow Leopard, too.
For $15, why not download it and just try it and LET US KNOW!

My PC serves the minimum requirements described in the kinect page, but when installing the device, the software says that the computer does not meet the minimum requirements and therefore will not work with efficiency. Alternatively, theorize buy a new

Getting a definitive answer from Microsoft will be difficult as to my understanding, requirements are still subject to change; and unless it's their brand of PC I doubt they will give free advertisement to buy a specific make/model.
There are other threads where people discuss specific machines that work with the Kinect V2.
The only compatibility problems I've had with getting it to work are: It has to be run Windows 8; It has to have a compatible USB 3.0; The 'Compatible' USB 3.0 requirement seems to be the most difficult.

Possible to deploy Dist Auth in the same web container with Policy Agent?

I have a client who has limited hardware resources and wants to deploy the distributed authentication UI in the same web container as the policy agent. Has anyone successfully done this?

I'm sure it's possible just make sure the DAUI context (e.g. /distAuth) in the agent's configuration for the web server is in the not enforced list properties for the agent.
However, it's so easy just to put an Apache HTTP server/tomcat and run daui, then setup another web server (Sun, Apache, etc.) with an agent or vice versa and you don't have to worry about the agent clobbering DAUI.

Oracle database integration with SAP PI for high volume & Complex Structure

We have requirement for integrating oracle database to SAP PI 7.0 for sending data which is eventually transferred to multiple receivers. The involved data structure is hugely complex (around 18 child tables) with high volume processing requirement (100K+ objects need to be processed in 6-7 hours). We need to implement logic for prioritizing the object i.e. high priority objects must be processed first and then objects with normal priority.
We could think of implementing this kind of logic in database procedures (at least it provides flexibility for implementing data selection logic as well as processed data can be marked as success in the same SP) but since PI sender adapter doesn't support calling Oracle stored procedures currently so this option is rules out. we can try implementing complex data selection using oracle table function but table function doesn't allow any SQL query which changes data (UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE etc) so it is impossible to mark selected objects in table function from PI communication channel "Update Query" option.
Also, we need to make sure that we are not processing all the objects at once as message size for 20 objects can vary from 100 KB to 15 MB which could really lead to serious performance issues for bigger messages.
Please share any implementation experience for handling issues:
1 - Database Integration involving Oracle at sender side
2 - Complex Data structures
3 - High Volume Processing
4 - Controlled data selection from database to contro the message size in PI

We can call the stored procedure using receiver adapter using ccBPM, we can follow different approaches for reading the data in this case.
a) In this a ccBPM instance needs to be triggered using some dummy message, after receiving this message the ccBPM can make a sync call to the Oracle database the store procedure(this can be done using the specific receiver data type strucure), on getting the response message the ccBPM can then proceed with the further steps.The stored procedure needs to be optimized for improving the performance as the mapping complexity will largely get affected by the structure in which the stored procedure returns the message.Prioritization of the objects can be handled in the stored procedure.
b) In this a ccBPM instance can first read data from the header level table, then it can make subsequent sync calls to Oracle tables for reading data from the child tables.This approach is less suitable for this interface as the number child tables is big.

There is no such thing as "best" and "inexpensive", you either want one or the other but you cannot get both. IMHO I'd recommend OWC's Mercury Elite Pro (www.macsales.com) however because you are on the other side of the pond you may want to consider a Lacie product. High quality, not cheap but good stuff for the most part.

Several layered effects of the same kind but with different adjustments for the same layer

I wonder if it there is an easy way to have several different instances of e.g. glow or bevel and emboss on the same layer.
I know I can achieve this by using smart objects or a duplicate layer with zero blending.
I just wondered if there is a way to do this directly in the layer effects.

I wasn't even refering to different objects on the same layer, btw. it would be enough if I was able to layer e.g. different bevel and emboss on top of each other (With different colors, softness and size.) But I guess the answer remains the same.

Can you sync your iPod touch with computer 1 for computer 1's iCal items and also sync the same iPod touch with computer 2 for computer 2's music, apps, etc. items?

I have a MacBook Pro through my college, and I have all my iCal items on that computer, but I have all my music, apps, etc. on a PC desktop that is my personal home computer. I am wondering if I can sync my iPod touch with my MacBook for the iCal items and also with my PC for the music and such without loosing either of the two when trying to sync with the other computer?

Edit: Ok, looks like that doesn't really supply any real information. I'd assume the camera works the same as the 60D, but providing information on how to connect various third-party telescopes is kind of outside the scope of Canon documentation.

Using the MATRIXx linksim cmd with Visual C+ for UserCode

Need help. Trying to create a static library in the Microsoft Visual C+ Developement environment (v6.0) and link it to MATRIXx (v62.2) using the "linksim" Xmath command. I build the library in MS Vis C and then add it to the makeucb.mk file in the ../sysbld/bin/ directory. Next, I use the "linksim" command to build my simucb.dll.
I have not been sucessful trying to make the simucb.dll file by hand using the "nmake -f makeucb.mk" DOS command. I keep running into a "fatal error U1083" where a macro is not defined. I assume that linksim is taking care of this for me.
I'm open to any suggestions. Basically what I am needing is a better way to incorporate large and complex UserCode algorithms into my MATRIXx
models.

You need to define the platform (#define PC 1), which should be done before #include "matsrc.h". You should use the linksim command to link the file, but use MSVC to build the library. If you link outside of MATRIXx then you would need to include the necessary libraries (sysbld\lib\libdllutil.lib for stdwrt).
Also build the library using a c file rather than a cpp file, to avoid name mangling.
Attached is a set of files that can be used as a starting point. The files were created in MSVC 6.0 and MATRIXx 6.3.
It is a MSVC static library project. Add.c was added to the project and it was built into a library (.\debug\mxlib.lib)
Then the path and name of the lib file was added to the makeucb.mk and a UCB c file that calls the function in the library was c
reated. (usr01.c). This file is being called from the UCB in test.dat.

1.     An employee is traveling to any country … person can check-in approved hotels.
Note : How we can ensure lowest rates between hotels under same area?
How hotel person will be notified that person is travelling on approved travel?
2.     Bill can be presented to company directly and uploaded
3.     Employee will fill details against that expanse.
4.     Once approved by manager Hotel will be paid directly by AP payment team.
2nd question .. can I integrate Airline companies .. please let me know flow …how we can do the same ..and lowest Itinerary picked by system for approved travel for employee of the sector.

we have developed the same kind of scenario in 11.5.10.2 .
we develop a custom module ATR(Air Ticket Reservation),all are self service pages(OAF) we linked this module with i-Expense.
in ATR process employee raises a request for ATR booking and by the approval methods when it's approved then a automated notification goes to the respective booking agent. and the ticket details everything comes to employee by the ATR Agent.
When all the process over then employee submit the expense report ,as we have intigrated ATR process with i-Expenses so all ATR data comes in transaction window (e.g such as the CC data).
We can integrate any 3rd party application also with Oracle Apps .
Technology we used : OAF, Oracle WF.

We have the Sales Role (Sales Cockpit), designed for our customer using VC. The Sales role needs to be enhanced with the calling functionality. Client has IP telephones.
Can somebody please suggest on if that is possible, if yes how that can be done? Any How to guides would be helpful? Are IP telephones enough or some other calling / voip devices needs to be integrated?
