Unhandled Exception when launching Company Settings Center or UevSqmSession.exe
Hi there,
using UE-V 2.0 we get some errors. Currently we're still evaluating and therefore only have 5 installations. 2 out of them do have unhandled exceptions thrown. I think UevSqmSession is starting by task scheduler:

The miracle is other applications using this very same .NET framework version are running without problems. Also - as mentioned - the tray icon is running. Sync also does work as expected.
Is there anybody else experiencing this issue ? Can MS please have a look ?

(from the "Turn Windows Features On/Off" of Programs and Features Control Panel applet).
When I try to install, I get a Dialog labelled "Microsoft .NET Framework", then the error is "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click on Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit,

Unhandled exception when exporting to EXCEL
Hello,
When I am exporting some reports, Desktop Intelligence crashes (error message at the end of this post).
I work on Window XP SP2.
My Desktop Intelligence release is 11.5.0.0.
It happens when I try to save with EXCEL format (no problem with PDF or RTF).
This does not happen with the same report in Business Object 6.5 (no problem to export to EXCEL on 6.5).
I tried with Desktop Intelligence (11.5.0.0) on CITRIX Server (Windows 2003 system) and it crashes also.
I have not seen any solution already posted on forums.

3. Ensure that the server and client should be on same patch levels.
4. Might be there is some formatting changes which are not compatible with the excel DAO properties could you please test the following solution.
1. Apply standard styles in the report and save it as excel.
2. Reset the report from slice and dice panel and try to save it as excel.
3. Rebuild the data cube by editing the data providers in the report.
4. Test the issue by deleting the tabs one by one in the report and saving it as excel.

Try to launch Headstart utilities, logon, get the context workarea question. Choose the only one we've got, and get error message:

Did you recently upgrade your Oracle Designer version?
You probably have to re-run the grants script, that grants access on Repository objects to the Utilities owner.
To do this, log on to SQL*Plus as the Oracle Repository Owner, and run the following script, located
in the [Headstart Home]\hsu\scripts directory, with the following command line parameters.
d6grtsyn.sql [Headstart Home] [Utilities Owner schema name]
for example:
d6grtsyn.sql c:\hsd65 hsua65
SQL*Plus will be closed automatically. The log file d6grtsyn.log will be created in the Headstart Home.
Check this log file for any errors.

I have seen your two posts and there are something you need to notice:
Where the ClassNotFound exception you got? From deployment tool or
application server kjs process?
Of course, you need not to add supporting classes to each ejb jars or ears.
1. If you use deployment tool to package your application, I'm sure you'll
fail to resovle your classes without supporting classes added to jars.
Please select Edit->Preference,in Classpath entry, enter the supporting
classes(packaged to jar files) location. This should work.
2. After deploy to ias, please edit the registry using kregedit which you
described in your posts.

Adding the classes to each EJB jar is redundant and introduces lots of
problems. How should I configure iPlanet so I only need to put my
supporting classes in one place?

Got a good one here. Client is receiving the error above in the standard eBusiness Suite Req Approval Workflow. The problem has been narrowed down to the responsibility level. When the final approver is logged is as one Responsibility, the error does not occur. When the final approval is done through logging in as another Responsibility, the error halts the workflow.

All profile options are the same for both responsibilities. Both responsibilities use the same function 'Advanced Worklist' to display the Workflow Notifications. This started happening after an upgrade to 11.5.10.2.

There is one hit on Metalink but this didn't work (note: 603475.1).

I have been through the PL/SQL code and found that there is infact a commit statement in there. The PO Requisition Approval Workflow is calling the Create PO workflow and the error occurs when the wf_engine.StartProcess call is hit. Code flow below.

I was always under the impression that commit statements were a big 'no no' in Workflow? I could always take it out but this is standard 11.5.10.2 code so I assume it is there for a reason. Ultimately there must be something wrong with the Responsibility but I cannot for the life of me see it. I suspect that this is tied in with the way Workflow uses the responsibility.

</p>Not that I think that it will make any difference, BUT - have you seen MetaLink note 465827.1?
I can't see why that would make any difference - but I also disagree with the "solution" proposed in 603475.1. That particular "fix" seems to be to workaround the problem rather than actually address the fundamental flaw in the process, i.e. an activity invoked by a Workflow should NEVER issue a commit or a rollback. I'd guess that the PO team need to revisit this completely - the commit was introduced to fix a bug (which I don't have visibility of), but seems to have intoduced more problems further down the line.
My gut feeling says that the initial response from Oracle will be to determine why one responsibility is causing problems - which again is a fudge of the real problem. If you can, avoid going down this route :)

Exception when changing Variable Settings in 7.x WebTemplate
Hi,
We are trying to execute the query on the Web using 7.0x web template (2004s Netweaver) . Sometimes NullPointerException is thrown when we are trying to change the Properties of Characteristic Version of a variable in Variable Selection Screen using the Settings button (This button is present in the Select Values screen). And sometimes this works fine, i.e. Settings screen opens up and we are able to change the Characteristic property.
Is anyone else facing similar kind of issue? And what is the possible fix for this issue?

rinzIt seems you are insert some data in child table. For which parent data does not exist. In simple primary key values does not exist while you are trying to insert in foreign key values. check this link.

We first tried to open the browser using below SQL command in SQL Developer.
select utl_http.request ('https://host_name:port/axf-ws/AxfSolutionMediatorService',null,

When we ran the above command we got below error in SQL Developer.

Then we checked "AXFWalletKey" value using below command.

We found that the "AXFWalletKey" was incorrect, we corrected the value and checked again.

And we were able to see the correct URL in database table.
We updated the AXF Schema using below command.

I haven't seen this error, nor have I used PTF from the command line, just running online in from the tool to the browser, but when I look at PeopleBooks it says
if you do not use the -CD= parameter to specify the connection data, use the parameters in the following table:
–CS= Specify the server:port to connect to. This is the Server:Port value you would enter in the PeopleSoft Test Framework Signon dialog box when signing on to PTF.
–CNO= Specify the node name.
–CO= Specify the user name.
So I would say your command line would have to look like this:

I m working on Fusion Middleware forms 11g with windows plateform. I want to launch an exe (like notepad.exe) from my form on button click, which i m doing using the webutil dde.app_begin. My form is deployed on server, and i want to launch this application from client. The server is on linux. Now when i press the button it gives me error "FRM-40735: WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-106561". Here is my code:
